A local gem! I've heard great things about Cafe POM and had to try for myself. Pookie and I came here and ordered a couple of dishes. The flavors are quite unique to us but has remnants of familiar flavors and dishes. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the names of these dishes, but I do remembering particularly enjoying the flakey pastry the most. This is a family-run local business, and I really appreciate that we have this POM in town. The only downside for me is that I found the prices to be a higher than I'd like. I wasn't exactly full for a relatively pricey meal. Also, there were some coffee grinds in my coffee (not sure if that's supposed to be part of the Armenian coffee...). Service is friendly, and ambiance is quaint. I could see myself coming here again to pick up some treats!

From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming--it had that pure neighborhood feel that's hard to find these days. Honestly, it felt like we'd known the staff forever even though we had just met. The service was genuine, relaxed, and made us feel right at home. Add in great food, and it was the perfect start to our day. If you're looking for a local spot with a warm atmosphere and excellent breakfast, this place is a must. I was the only individual that wasn't recognized as a regular yet the cozy charm was still imbued amongst the service I received and I was still greeted enthusiastically. ENVIRONMENT Cute and cozy are the first words that come to mind when walking into the breakfast nook. The environment can best be described as the dining room of a cottage. There was ample seating and a sense of familiarity that instantly makes you feel at home. FOOD Bomb coffee!!!! I have to start there. While I was waiting for my food I heard several quips amongst the regulars about the quality of the coffee and I decided to take the dive myself. I was NOT disappointed. The other standouts were the turkey sausage and THE PANCAKES. There's no shortage of breakfast spots along Mainline both commercial and locally owned. Julie Anne's stands out for the warm environment and well-made comfort food. Happy eats!

This location is larger than the ones I've seen in Bryn Mawr and Ocean City - very spacious rooms with many tables for 2-6 easily. To be honest, I would come here for a meet up with friends, I could bring my kids here, and my husband just did a quiet day of work here. I would even consider a bridal or baby shower kind of event here too if they offer it. It's adorable, clean and has a warm atmosphere with tasteful design. Allergy alerts are posted on all premade food: nut, dairy, wheat are all labeled. They even sell wine and fun drinks, great gifts for girlfriends, home chefs, and host gifts. I'm coming back for the pies, frozen appetizers and cookies/scones. This is perfect for party planning and guests! If you're tired of ordering takeout, making the same thing for dinner or meeting friends at Starbucks and First Watch, get over to ANEU!

Hit or miss on the take-options for me. Coconut Curry Soup was so spicy (turmeric & ginger), it made my stomach hurt & more of a broth than a soup. Like drinking a health shot warm. GF Morning Glory muffin was dry but delicious warmed w/butter. GF chocolate chip cookie went straight in the trash: dry, tasteless and hard. Love the Mexican Chocolate on-the-go bites. It's pricey health food and I'll be back to try other options. I'm glad it's close by!

The staff didn't seem particularly friendly, and the cashier appeared irritated, which made the experience less comfortable than expected. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich that's listed as coming on a bagel, but they were out. I completely understand things sell out. However, I was surprised to be charged an additional $2.50 for a different type of bread as a substitute. As someone who works as a barista, I understand how these situations happen, but in a hospitality-focused business, small moments like this can really shape a customer's experience. Overall, the visit felt more transactional than warm. I hope this is something that can be improved, because good hospitality can make a big difference. Overall the food was good and the drink was also good. But like mentioned above there has to be good customer service to round out the experience.

The coffee is freshly brewed and high quality. All ingredients including non dairy milk options tasted so fresh and rich. Definitely can tell the quality!!

We started the meal with large cold platters of hummus, dips, olives, grilled peppers and pita. Our hot appetizers included grilled octopus, grilled calamari, fried calamari, and grilled shrimp. All outstanding. Everyone got their favorite Greek meals and the variety was incredible. All the food was served hot and fresh at the very same time. (Not an easy task, but they made it happen.) After everyone was done, a couple people "in the know" got their delicious Greek coffee. What a fun and delicious place to celebrate!

We arrived around 5:45pm to a fairly empty restaurant, which often gives me pause; but as the night went on, it quickly filled up. We were seated and tended to promptly. The interior is cool and inviting, with Greek artwork and upbeat music to enhance the ambiance. Our server was attentive and blunt in a fun, friendly way -- make sure you bring your sense of humor so you don't take anything personally! I had a bowl of the Chicken Avgolemono soup, though the smaller cup would've been more than enough. It was nice and hot. My husband and daughter both got Souvlaki platters but didn't want their Dolmades so I happily ate those. I also shared their fries and part of my daughter's Pork Souvlaki. The Dolmades were some of the best I've ever had and the fries were amazing. But the pork. Listen, I rarely choose pork as my protein and I was very unenthusiastic about it, but it was possibly the best pork I have eaten in my life. It was super tender and juicy and absolutely full of flavor. Together with the fresh pita, tzatziki, and cucumbers... I didn't have words. My husband enjoyed his Lamb Souvlaki, but he tried a bite of the pork and shared my sentiments. We shared a piece of Baklava for dessert, which was also delicious. It was a wonderfully satisfying meal! Restrooms were bright and clean, albeit you have to walk through their office-like area to get to them and kind of feel like you're intruding. If you are in the area and like Greek food or want to try something different, I highly recommend giving this spot a try. I would welcome the opportunity to go back!
