What an incredible first experience today at Cafe Pom! My husband is Armenian and everything we tasted brought back memories of family gatherings at his grandparents, Sarkis and Salve's home! Haig and Anita were beyond helpful! Very warm and welcoming environment! The lahmajoun was was fabulous! Fresh dolma (stuffed peppers), were out of this world! Cheese Boreg & meat boreg were incredible! Chicken kebob was marinated, seasoned and grilled perfectly!! Lulu kebob with plain yogurt on top was over the top! Grape leaves, (Yalanchi) were just like grandma Salve's! Tastes and textures were 100 % on point! The rice pilaf was ohhh so good!!! Everything made in house from scratch kitchen!! The Armenian ladies do all of the preparation and cooking!! Turkish coffee was fantastic with homemade Gatah pastry. We cannot wait to return!!

Family run! Very nice open set up dining room is blended with a market style which is appealing and casual. The staff were nice and helpful. I've seen great reviews and heard great things. While my paoli bowl was tasty they were out of a number of ingredients I asked for both the bowl and the Armenian pizza. While the flavors were good I was a little disappointed. Baklava didn't have much flavor but that could be more of Armenia style, I'm Greek so we make it a little different from the region my family comes from. Everything seemed fresh and clean. I would return to buy their dips next time but not dine.

A local gem! I've heard great things about Cafe POM and had to try for myself. Pookie and I came here and ordered a couple of dishes. The flavors are quite unique to us but has remnants of familiar flavors and dishes. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the names of these dishes, but I do remembering particularly enjoying the flakey pastry the most. This is a family-run local business, and I really appreciate that we have this POM in town. The only downside for me is that I found the prices to be a higher than I'd like. I wasn't exactly full for a relatively pricey meal. Also, there were some coffee grinds in my coffee (not sure if that's supposed to be part of the Armenian coffee...). Service is friendly, and ambiance is quaint. I could see myself coming here again to pick up some treats!

Enjoying an Armenian coffee w a few delicious Yalanchi !

Friendly people, a few vegan options, and a nice store to browse while I waited for my food - which really hit the spot

This location is larger than the ones I've seen in Bryn Mawr and Ocean City - very spacious rooms with many tables for 2-6 easily. I would even consider a bridal or baby shower kind of event here too if they offer it. It's adorable, clean and has a warm atmosphere with tasteful design. Allergy alerts are posted on all premade food: nut, dairy, wheat are all labeled. They even sell wine and fun drinks, great gifts for girlfriends, home chefs, and host gifts. Was excited to try the Manti, after seeing it in all the reviews - very small dumplings with a meaty filling that is paired with a tangy yogurt sauce. The meal for two was $66 now $100. Yet when we were all set and done, our bill was just over $100. I probably should've listened to my wife and order that instead. We started off with the Manti dumplings and broth, unfortunately, they were overcooked, dry and some had burnt skin. but when we pointed it out, the server didn't see anything wrong with it, maybe that's common for them, but that's not how we normally experience Manti at other restaurants Next, I had the chard octopus it wasn't charred. It's a nearly room temperature plate. I love octopus so for me it worked, but it wasn't what maybe I recalled. Then we shared a lamb kebab plate and added a chicken Shawarma skewer, lamb was tough, overcooked. Overall the meal missed delivering that wow factor. No more for us. Many other places to try.
