Nice day for lunch outside
Jessica S.

There's street parking as well as a municipal lot with a kiosk for paying. There's indoor seating as well as outdoor on the corner of Darby and Brookline. We were able to sit outside. There were many options on the breakfast and lunch menus as well as the specials. I decided on the Kettle Rancheros and my husband had the fried chicken sandwich. I had a cup of hot tea which my server refilled without me even asking. Everything was delicious. The people were friendly. They do not have Coke products. I think we'll be back again to try more of the delicious options!!

Some kinda scramble

Honestly I don't know how this place isn't more popular. It's legit the best brunch spot in the neighborhood. The staff are nice and hardworking, and it honestly has one of those small-town diner vibes even though the restaurant itself is kinda modern. It's homey, but the menu items have some flair that make it worth coming out for. I got some kinda scramble and it was great. Pretty sure there was pesto in it. And spinach. Anyway who cares, it was delicious. I also got coffee, which is bottomless and they make sure to keep their promise. I had to practically snatch my cup away from the waitress. But wow that is some high quality coffee that I really appreciate. As someone who's always looking for good food in the Eastern Delco/Monto/etc area, definitely check this place out if you're around.

Nice to drop the contacts and go to 4 eyes on a day off

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. These five are just for the corned beef hash. Some of the best I've had. Tender, seasoned well, full of onions and potatoes. My server (Marie ... who recommended and was deserving of 5 stars herself), brought out salt, pepper, hot sauce. No need . The flavor was already there. The La Colombe coffee was brewed perfectly (coffee could get 5 stars too), and Marie was sure to keep my cup full and warm. Oh, and they have a counter (5 stars for that too... lol). Maybe it's because I'm just some ole blue collar worker, but I've always felt more comfortable at counters and bars, than I have in a table or booth. Everything that came from the kitchen looked great and can't wait to try them again.... However, they had me at the corned beef hash

I've heard so many positive things about this place, I decided to give it a try. Stopped by on a Monday morning, it was not yet 8am, but it's already open. I ordered coffee and omelette, my friend ordered eggs & toast, a side of beef hash and coffee. The food came fairly quick. The presentation of the food is nice. However, the food was really just ok. It's tasteless and bland. My friends food was ok too. I think it's because of COVID, they might have increased price, which I understand. But for the price I pay and the food I got, no, I won't come back. The service is good, the restaurant looks clean with outdoor seating. It was my first but also last visit.

The Kettle Omelet. Scallion mashed potatoes, bacon, cheddar, and sour cream. SO delicious!

Rarely do you ever find a restaurant with take out food as good as dine in. BUT The Kettle continues to nail it. Ordered take out from here over the weekend and was blown away with how kind the woman on the phone was. She was just as pleasant in person. Pancakes were outstanding and the kettle omelet was just as good as it's been every time I've dined in. Give this place a shot! Great service, great food, and small business owned. Love them!

I had the BLT with avocado and every part of the meal was excellent. The toasty bread was crisp and had a really nice texture; the egg was cooked just how I asked; the bacon a perfect balance of crisp and chewy. I asked for an extra side of avocado (I'm all about getting my fiber) and it arrived at the peak of perfect ripeness. The home fries were tender and savory. Also my cappuccino was delicious. The dining area was very clean and had a faintly rustic feel. The bathroom was also sparkling clean. I was in and out in less than 40 minutes, too, but never felt rushed. There were plenty of vegetarian options. I'm not too sure about it if you have to avoid dairy or gluten; the menu has a lot of that. Handicap access was pretty good: no steps to get in and out of the place. Honestly I can't wait to visit here again!

It's now a chain, so it's not surprising the quality will vary depending on the location. It was a Monday morning around 11 and it was packed - we waited about 5 minutes for a table. The server was very nice as was the service. We shared the Chicken and Waffles, and the Pancake Egg Special - which is 2 mini pancakes, 2 eggs, anyway you want them, and a side of bacon. We also ordered the Cheesy Grits. I asked for the eggs to be 'an omelette', with tomatoes, onions, peppers and cheddar cheese. I also asked for the bacon to be crispy - I don't like to 'chew' my bacon (I bake my bacon to a light crispy crunch - it's a difficult act to follow). Sabrina's fell far short - it wasn't even close to crisp. The omelette, however, was really the star of the breakfast - the veggies tasted fresh, and with the cheddar cheese, it was excellent. The side of grits was too salty - my partner, (who is from Atlanta and grew up eating them), said not only was it too salty, it lacked any real cheesy flavor. My pancakes were average - recently I've been having pancakes that have such a sear, it stiffens the top and creates a chewy texture - these pancakes had that attribute. They tasted okay, but I like a light and fluffy pancake - these were cooked very quickly on a very hot grill. The waffle was good, both the texture and taste were fine. However, the fried chicken was thin, dry and chewy, with too much breading. Overall, Sabrina's Wynnewood was a disappointment. However, when I'm in Fitler Square, it's a favorite of mine.

My husband liked a beer and would've gotten a second one, but the waitress never made it back to us at that point. I, of course, came to a brewery and ordered their apple cider margarita. There was a lot of ice. Too much ice. Not much drink. Didn't hurt that much because the drink was just ok. My kids crushed the pretzel. It was huge and my one kid discovered a love of cheese along with it. My spouse got the Cuban, which is a little dry, but pretty in line with Cuban expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed the pickle burger with double patties, enough meat that I also shared bit of it with the kids. My kid dipped the patty in the pretzel cheese. My spouse had read that it took a while for food to come out, but it came out pretty speedy for us. We also ordered the crab dip, but it came out at the same time as our main course so we didn't eat much. Taking that sucker home. Besides the pretzel, the variety of spaces here are the main highlight. Again, disclaimer being this is coming from someone who didn't come to a brewery to drink beer.
