Let me just start by saying I LOVE Human Bean or more specifically the 19th Avenue location is what made me such a huge fan of Human Bean. Such creative drinks and excellent service every time. However this location that is closer to my new job is never able to hit that same level of excellence. Countless times now I've been to this location and I order a drink and nothing is mentioned about ingredients, but then I am handed a drink that has key ingredients subbed out. If you are not able to complete the order that is fine but I should not have to waste both of you and I time when you hand me my yellow "Purple Rain". I'm honestly not picky at all and this drink will not be wasted so at least there's that. But how is it y'all got 4 people working Easter but can't run the business past 7pm? I'd love it if you stayed open later and let me know if you can't make the requested drink. I.e. my go to drinks are purple rain, typically purple, and hurricane rango, typically blue. SO thankful for this location opening! I usually only get to treat myself with a Mexi Mocha when I visit clients in other areas of town, now they are in my hood and I'm in trouble. Love this little coffee shop! I have been to their Tempe location and I was super excited to see them open here. The customer service is top notch and the drinks are seriously delicious. My daughter loves the Java chip granita, my other daughter loved the frozen hot chocolate if you are looking for an option without caffeine. We went back today and I tried their black tea with lemonade. Yum! Perfect on a hot day. Usually I get their iced coffee which is so so good. Personally in my opinion this is one of the best coffee shops I ever bought from I always get the protein granita with extra options like caramel or Hershey's chocolate with espresso, I get the 32 oz but when I feel like it I'll try the other things on their menu Plus I always add a pack of chocolate covered espresso beans to my order when I'm using DoorDash. my mother-in-law is here from out of town, and i've been raving about how i can't ever go back to starbucks after discovering the human bean and 'real' coffee. so we went today to get her a mexi-mocha and my usual cold brew with vanilla cold foam. emalee is an absolute rockstar! she was there all by herself today, handling lines of waiting cars in all three lanes, plus the walk-up window, and still managing to serve up delicious drinks with a smile! i honestly would have fallen apart under that kind of pressure. the drinks were totally worth the wait, and MIL was majorly impressed, so we will definitely be back! thanks again, emalee!! read more

I got a XL Java chip granita with oat milk, which says on there menu cost $4.25-$5.25, alternatives milk +.50. & a breakfast sandwich which said cost just under $5. My totally came out to $14.06.... When I asked they said oat milk is an additional .75 (which is not mentioned anywhere) but I still don't see how my drink came out to over $9! According to the menu it should have been $6... I don't mind paying for what I asked for but weird hidden fees that the barista can't even give me a good reason on my why drink was almost $10 doesn't sit right with me! She offered a pup cup after, probably cause she realized they just over charged me by $3. The drink was delicious, thank goodness. The sandwich tasted similar to something I'd get at a gas station. They put a small piece of clear tape over the drink hole. I did not see it. Clear lid and cup. Put my straw took and drink.... and was choking, with a dislocated jaw, I was coughing and had to hack it out. I sent an email to Corporate in Oregon who sent me back to the store. Wow. I'm very impressed. I drove by this place on Saturday and saw that it was open so I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. There were a wide variety of drink options and they were all reasonably priced. I ordered a java chip granita(java chip frozen coffee) and I really liked it!! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This place was a very good find and I'd recommend it to coffee and tea lovers. They also have a kids menu which is really cute. Now the kids can get a caffeine free treat!! Definitely 5 stars. In my opinion: better than Starbucks, Dutch Bro's, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and others. You have to try it!! I have been here multiple times. Service is always good but it seems like there is a management issue. There has been multiple girls that work here that express how bad management is and whenever I ask for the manager that is working she never comes to the window I always get another employee that says "she js busy". There has been a couple girls there that express to me how the mangers that work there do nothing all day. There is one girl in Particular who I know manages the stand here at baseline and I here nothing but poor things about her, but the girls never say anything to management because they don't want to lose their job. I have friends that work for the city and am really considering letting them know to look into this stand, and the actual owners of the stand for allowing this. read more
