It's a solid drive-thru only type coffee place with a variety of hot and cold coffees, expresso-based beverages, and some breakfast items. they also include their signature chocolate dipped coffee bean with every purchase. Service is pretty fast as well. I've never had a bad drink here, I love their cold brews with cold foam and hot mexican mochas. My only real complaint is that they switched their breakfast burrito from just egg (vegetarian) to now a mix of egg, bacon, weird sauce which is a big downgrade. read more

I stopped by here on a Tuesday earlier this month with my wife and twins for our morning coffee. Whenever we go on vacation, we like to hit up local coffee shops and on this day we went to the Human Bean. This coffee shop was in a stand alone building and had both a drive thru and a walk up window. Since I wanted some time to see the menu I ended up parking and going to the walk up window. There was a group of 2 in front of me and they were pretty slow in ordering. By the time they were done they had ordered 4 drinks including two snowies. For my coffee on this day I ended up going with a large hot candied peppermint latte and then I ordered my wife a large peppermint mocha snowie. From the time I walked up to the window until I got back in the car took 15-20 minutes with most of the blame going on the two people in front of me but I will also note that service wasn't too fast either. Thankfully the coffee here was worth the wait. There was a good balance of milk to coffee and I was able to taste the rich coffee. Then the peppermint flavor was always there but not too strong which I appreciated. My wife also enjoyed her coffee here even if it was a little decadent. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. While my coffee was good, I just wish that it hadn't taken as long as it did to get it. read more

Needed a quick pick me up before my shift at work and decided to try this place out! I went through the drive thru, they were pretty busy but the line moved quickly. I ordered the egg, cheese and potato burrito and a small snowy mocha. The coffee was delicious but the burrito was just okay. I was very impressed with the salsa that came with the burrito though! I stopped by this location on my way to a dance competition. It was around 7:30 this morning and I was the only car in the drive-thru, though two more did pull in behind me after I ordered. I ordered three drinks and three breakfast sandwiches, as I was getting stuff for other people too. We all had something "special" about our orders - I had decaf, one person had oat milk, and the other had oat milk and sugar free. They made everything perfectly, not a single mistake. The sandwiches must have been piping hot when I got them because they were still hot when we ate them 15 minutes later. The people working there were all super nice and worked quickly. The drive-thru was easy to navigate in and out of and everything was in good condition. There are a few parking spaces so you can walk up and order at the window if you want. The husband and I stopped here again after hiking. Solid coffees, good service. This time I had a Mexican mocha with nonfat milk. It was really good! I discovered this place back home in Vegas, and I was so excited to find they had a few locations here! The one down the street from my mom's house in Vegas, had a sticker that read, "Friends don't let friends drink Starbucks." And from there on out, I knew this would be my favorite coffee place LOL I used to go to this place nearly daily! My favorite drinks were the Mexi-Mocha and Irish Cream Breve, hot! Unfortunately, due to health issues, the doc told me to cool it on the coffee. So, I only have it once in a blue moon now. This visit, I tried one of their new drinks. They're like teas with your choice of energy drink. I tried the Mango Peach with a Red Bull my first visit and the Watermelon Strawberry? with a Rockstar the second visit. They're addicting. Soooooo tasty! I personally like it with the Rockstar than the Redbull, and they also have Monsters. But, it depends on which location you choose to go to. I have not been disappointed with my experiences at The Human Bean thus far. The drinks have been great in taste and the customer service is always excellent and fast. I have only been to two locations thus far and had no complaints. I'm not too much of a coffee drinker and my typical place to drink is Starbucks. Hands down when it comes to coffee... Human Bean will be my preference. The Sugar Mama is my go too and the caramel macchiato. I even went by this Mother's Day and they were giving out tulips which was so sweet. The guy was super friendly! The menu has a lot of options from smoothies, coffee, energy drinks, etc! There are many sizes as well! I loved going to the human bean on my way to work. I never had a problem with the service or the drinks. The reason for my 1 star is because the barista I normally see are no longer at this location and the location no longer feels like a friendly coffee spot. My drinks are always watered down and 90% ice. The service now doesn't feel the same and I have to correct my drinks. The human bean is starting to feel greedy about the syrup being used and the actual drink it self. The customer service is no longer friendly. As a loyal Human Bean customer visiting several times per week, todays visit was extremely disappointing. I ordered my usual Irish Cream Breve and ordered a Matcha for my wife, was told no matcha( happens frequently lately) so order a Chia Latte with coconut milk instead. Great customer service and yummy drinks! The 12oz and 16oz has 2 shots, I would choose the 12oz for less milk. If you love espresso like me, get the 20oz; it has 4 shots. You have a nice view while ordering and the service is pretty fast! This a great spot to stop before a nice hike up South Mountain. I normally order the Sugar Mama or the Snowy! The little espresso bean is such a cute touch and so good! You can always purchase these espresso beans separately, I add one in my coffee at home when I can't drive to Human Bean. I used to frequent the human bean because of convenience and it has two drive-thrus, so, during the rush it's a shortened rush. Today I learned 9/26 that they've decided to prioritize delivery and door dash orders over customers who order directly from them. They're down to one drive thru for actual customers and the drive-thru closest to the road is for door dash orders only. Great way to screw over your regular customers! Oh and there's lack of signage except for a small hand-written sign on the window. So, rather than making an exception because it's new, I was told by the barista to move it to the line and keep their carless window open to delivery orders. Let me just start by saying I LOVE Human Bean or more specifically the 19th Avenue location is what made me such a huge fan of Human Bean. Such creative drinks and excellent service every time. However this location that is closer to my new job is never able to hit that same level of excellence. Countless times now I've been to this location and I order a drink and nothing is mentioned about ingredients, but then I am handed a drink that has key ingredients subbed out. If you are not able to complete the order that is fine but I should not have to waste both of you and I time when you hand me my yellow "Purple Rain". I'm honestly not picky at all and this drink will not be wasted so at least there's that. But how is it y'all got 4 people working Easter but can't run the business past 7pm? I'd love it if you stayed open later and let me know if you can't make the requested drink. I.e. my go to drinks are purple rain, typically purple, and hurricane rango, typically blue. I had to pick up an order today for a customer for doordash today so I thought I'd try it out with a coffee of my own as I waited. Decided on an iced double expresso as a quick pick me up as it was late in my work day. Surely did need it as a means to finish out the last few hours of my work day as I was starting to feel very drained. Have to say it sure was a great choice. The expresso has the strong kick I haven't had in one in a long time. Suddenly I was the great cornholio and the pep in my step was back and ready for work.
