I've been to the Moka & Co in Mesa, so I've wanted to check this place out in Chandler. However, when in Chandler I always get my coffee at Peixoto, which I did this morning and then had a meeting so I figured I'd get some tea at Moka. I've always thought their drinks were good, the girl working was super sweet. I told her I'd already had coffee and was likely going to try something else. I settled on the Adeni Chai which I've had at other establishments and it's very good. She recommended I add a little vanilla so I did. Very tasty and it is a cute spot, parking was a breeze and lots of seating. I'm actually surprised how slow it was, I think it's a great spot to check out if you're in the area.

If I depend on Yelp reviews to be honest, I need to be genuine as well. To be honest the next day,my daughter and I took a few sips of the coffees we bought (we kept them in the fridge to see if the flavors changed). Unfortunately, the taste didn't develop. It might just be our inexperienced palate with Yemeni coffee beans or maybe it may take a while to get used to. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Occupying what was formerly Jake's Sweet Shop is Moka & Company-one of the newest additions to Downtown Chandler. This specialty Yemeni Coffee chain opened this Chandler location about two weeks ago. Twenty four locations were opened within 24 months with nine more in the works. Heavily present in Michigan and New York, other locations are popping up in Illinois, Georgia and now Arizona. We placed an order at the counter, sat down then took in the pretty and bright surroundings. I just love the Qamaria (half moon) arches that stand out among all the modern Middle Eastern components. The crown molding supported the beautiful detailing along the ceiling. Now for the coffees. The Saffron Latte $8 was unique to me. With added sugar, it was okay. The Cortado $6 + $1 sub for almond milk had bold, roasty and earthy tones but a tad of sugar had to be added to balance it. I would order something else next time. We didn't try any of the baked goods in the case but they looked delicious. Today, Sunday at 10:20 am there was one group in line ahead of us. When leaving at 10:50 am there were eight people in line. Parking was easily accessible with a small parking lot on the west side of this building, and there's also a parking garage. Coffee 2/5 Service 3/5 Ambiance 10/5 I'm always interested in discovering new and different coffee spots! Please feel free to message me if you would like to share your favorite gems! Cheers my fellow Yelpers!

This review is long overdue. I'm writing today from one of the comfortable rocking chairs on the…read morefront patio at Maple House. My husband and I enjoy kicking off our Sunday close to the opening hour at 7am. We eat a delicious breakfast option inside first. My husband orders a breakfast sandwich while I don't just like but LOVE the avacado toast. If available, we take our coffee and sit outside on the patio. The coffee is full bodied and delicious. My husband is a hot mocha guy. They have ice water at the front and in their spacious backyard seating area. It is a dog friendly destination. We enjoy seeing the wide variety of furry regulars. There are free treats for them. The service is consistently friendly and on top of their game. They really know how to move a line but you never feel rushed. They offer a points/ reward program for purchases which is always nice. When I asked my husband about cost he said it is so good he didn't even look! I checked our transaction history. For both of us including tip it was around $44- very decent in this day and age for such high quality. What a gem in Downtown Chandler!

My friend and I both ordered mediums with 75% sweetness, and it was the perfect drink for a hot, humid summer morning. Sweet enough to feel like a treat without being over the top. We also ordered matching bagel sandwiches. I do wish they offered a turkey bacon option, but the sandwiches were still hot, fresh, and delicious. The real star was the mayo aioli. I could probably put that on just about anything. The vibes are wonderful too. It's cozy, welcoming, and the kind of coffee shop where you want to linger with a friend for a while. My only critique is the layout of the front room. There always seems to be a line, but there's not really a good place for it to go besides in front of the entrance and the water station. It turns into a lot of "excuse me" and people weaving around each other. It's definitely a good problem to have because they're clearly popular, but I hope as they continue to flourish, they're able to expand into a larger space or rethink the flow a bit. Either way, I'll absolutely be back. Just save me another coconut brown sugar latte.

After leaving a lunch date my sweet tooth was calling for a decadent sweet treat. I found a new home for some great desserts. There are various other pastries and savory items that I can't wait to go back for. All are reasonably priced and the portions are a good size. Service was great as the young ladies working there were helpful and friendly.

I opted for the Ham and cheese croissant, and the sausage croissant. Both breading was fantastic. Good flavor, airy yet crispy, just really well made. I will definitely come back for the ham and cheese croissant. The sausage croissant wasn't really for me (the bread was) it truly is a big sausage in there. It had good flavor, just isn't for me. If they could make just a plain cheese or bacon and cheese that would hit the spot lol We also got their regular cinnamon roll. The breading had a lovely sweet cinnamon flavor and the icing on top had a delicious creamy taste without being overly sweet. The odd part for us was the filling in the inside. I couldn't decide if I cared for it or not, I was almost feeling it was pushing the sweetness over just a bit so l may or may not get that again. Even tho they have seating inside, it feels more like a grab and go. You can def enjoy your item there. But I wouldn't say a spot where you can sit and catch up with a Friend or read a book. It also felt a bit too warm and stuffy so cranking down the AC a bit would help it feel more inviting especially from coming outside from the Arizona heat. I like to enjoy a warm beverage with my dessert and I couldn't imagine doing it in there. We opted to eat in our car Service was friendly and patient. We arrived on a Saturday around 1130 am and their was plenty of items available Can't wait to come back
