This was our first time here. Nice place and plenty big inside. Parking can be an issue. I ordered the battered fish and chips. It was very good. My wife got the salmon and said it was the best she's ever had. It came with a potato veggie mix. We also ordered a couple of Greyhound cocktails. It was a grapefruit vodka with grapefruit juice and ice cubes made of GF juice. Everything was really good, especially the service. We'll be back!

This is a decent little place. They have a woodfired pizza bar, a regular bar and lots of seating and three different areas. The service is quite good. And the onion soup and fish and chips are also very good. I guess my biggest problem with Greyhound. Is the pricing. That's probably why there were only four tables maybe five occupied at lunch on a Friday. My fish and chips was one piece of fish with french fries nothing else 27 damn dollars a cup of onion soup was $14. That's ridiculous and they don't even offer a small dinner salad to go with your entrée you have to buy something that's 13 or $14. It's just crazy. I guess you've figured out by now that I won't be back.

First off, I need to start by saying Kyle is one of the best bartenders ever known to man! The food was so far beyond expectations. I can't even explain it. If you do not go dine there it's your own damn fault and your taste buds will never forgive you! Signed Karen. Lauren

Service - 5 Ambience - Lunch 5 / Dinner 3 Food - 4 Drinks - 4 Cute lunch spot that I found on Yelp. The server was fantastic, sadly I don't remember his name but he's been there since inception. I gave the ambience a 5 for lunch and a 3 for dinner. perfect setting for lunch but would be a little too casual for dinner IMO We started with the feta and meatballs. The feta was fantastic with a good balance of olives, capers and tomatoes. The meatballs were just ok but the palenta was a good balance. We then had the burger, wedge salad and the oyster sandwich. For cocktails we had the daiquiri, brut and the greyhound - All were tasty The service stood out more than anything as the server was knowledgeable and attentive. The food wasn't bad but the wedge salad and burger were smaller than expected for the price. If in the area I'd definitely come back but my recommendation would be to knock the price of the wedge salad to no more than $10 as the size is that of a half salad and add fries to come with the burger

I have been to the Greyhound many times, and I always enjoy it. This time, I ate a whole cheese pizza in one sitting, not kidding. I was definitely hungry, but it was also just that good. Our cocktails were also delicious. The service was awesome, and the atmosphere was full of good energy. I loved the candles they had set up all around the bar we were sitting by. I hope to be back soon!

This was my first time to the Greyhound and I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was out of this world! Both my sister and I got pizzas and we both agreed. We also had the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer. So good! Our waitress was super friendly and accommodating to our vegetarian diets. My sister ordered a pizza that usually comes with chicken on it but they subbed artichoke hearts instead. The restaurant had a great vibe and was quite quiet. We loved that because we could actually hear each other whereas in some other local restaurants you have to either lean in or talk super loud to hear one another. Will definitely be back in the future!

Valencia, near downtown Covington, is a stylish, contemporary presence featuring tapas and traditional Spanish cuisine, with a respectful nod to the local culture. Service was friendly and attentive today, with Dara providing valuable info on menu offerings and taking excellent care of us. Today we enjoyed their specialty tapas; a Valencia roll, fried calamari, and a brand new offering - fried chicken pesto flatbread. All were excellent, with the roll having a sumptuous glaze and the calamari packing a tasty jalapeño punch. The flatbread, which we found out that we were the first to try, may have been the star of the show; generously portioned, with a thin crust, moist chicken and a zesty , but not overpowering, pesto finish. Although we were too full for dessert, several appealing ones were available. A number of specialty cocktails were also featured. We enjoyed their sangria. We look forward to returning to Valencia!

They don't overcook it, never gonna leave you hungry, I can't refuse it. Prior to my trip to Valencia, I had never had real Spanish food. I have had lots of Latin American food, but true Spanish food was not something I had tried. Now that I have, I am hooked. Valencia is amazing. I went with a group one night at their recommendation. I had other ideas for downtown Covington, but this is where they wanted to go. Suprisingly my youngest kid agreed to go too, which turned out great. Valencia is located in an old house that has served as several restaurants before. I always loved the location and have loved several of teh other spots. But Valencia takes the cake. It is fancy without feeling pretentious. Intimate despite being loud and popular. So many great things to say about the vibe. The food, however, is the star, even with the amazing ambiance. We started with calamari and creamy goat cheese. Both were stellar. The creamy goat cheese was so light and rich. The calamari was perfectly fried and incredibly fresh. Delicious! My entrée was the skirt steak, which I chose over the ribeye. I made the right choice. It was just like all of the other food, rich and delicious, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor unlike anything I have had before this meal. One word of caution. My kid had the charred octopus, and it was good, but it was indeed charred. I tried it and liked it, but it may have exceeded her taste buds. But, ladies and gentlemen, is how we learn. I cannot say enough great things about Valencia. PS If you are staying at the Southern, you can walk here!

Fresh seafood from the Gulf of MEXICO and a wicked drink menu. They offer several ceviches. We had the crispy cauliflower served with tempura, cashew habanero crema, garbanzo hash, and chimichurri. Loads of flavor and just the right bite size for tapas/apps. Plates include churrasco, fish and grits, paella (can be served veggie or without shellfish if you're allergic), lamb, Yucatan style pork, shrimp or steak mofongo, and chicken poblano. I had the churrasco, served with papas bravas. Steak cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. My husband had the steak mofongo and the beef tips, like the churrasco, were seasoned perfectly. The plantain mash was sweet and somehow savory at the same time. We loved both dishes. They make mean margaritas and caipirinhas hre, and also offer drinks like the paloma, the Bolivian sour, sangria, and specialty drinks. Service was amazing. She was so upbeat and helpful. They were fabulous performers. The staff was fun and friendly, it wasn't really their fault with the problems that follow. The bad: For noon reservations for drag brunch, they were not ready at all. It was $35 a person for the reservation. It seems a bit steep, however the show was good. When I say they weren't ready, they really were on a struggle bus. We had a couple cocktails and I believe every one else had the $25 bottomless mimosas. However, they didn't have the champagne in stock so many people had to wait for a drink. And once they for them, it was hard to keep their glasses full with the lack of staff. We ordered food and it took FOREVER! I mean, we almost left because all we had in our stomach was coffee from the morning and a couple cocktails. Let me remind you that our reservation was for noon. We did not get our food until 2:30. I was getting quite nauseated. I ordered the chicken and French toast, I asked for no maple syrup but it was doused in it. It was ok. I ate the chicken. TL:DR- cocktails were good, the show was good.
