First time ordering sandwiches. We got a California club and meatball sub. The club was good and was spicy, with the chipotle mayo. The meatball sub was massive. It came out and there were 2 large sandwiches. The sauce and cheese were good. The bread was burnt. The meatballs were thinly sliced. Oh my, let me count the way it means that I will not return. First, the waitresses should not gather at the cash register talking negatively about the customers. Second I ordered a Caesar salad and what I got was lettuce with a side of Caesar dressing that does not a Caesar salad mix. The pizza was bad, but there's hardly any sauce and that is definitely a problem on a pizza. To finish things off my waitress, walked by me at least six times after hours finished with my credit card on the table never even looked at me. I had come in and ordered a panini to go on my break. The food itself is not bad however the service was very disappointing. I waited for over 30 minutes for my food to be ready and I would understand it taking longer if they were busy but there were only two tables the entire time. When I was in there waiting on my order I see two of the people from the kitchen sit at a booth and start eating and then the others were just talking. Summary: food is pretty ok, service was terrible with zero apologies and a bad attitude by manager. I have been here many times over the years. Service has usually been pretty ok. There used to be a server that would draw a cartoon on the boxes and he was AMAZING. That being said, Thanksgiving Eve my family and I ordered to-go from here. Was told it would be 30 minutes for it to be ready. I got there at the 30 minute mark and was asked my name and order. Another customer was standing next to me getting agitated about how long she has been waiting. She started yelling and got her food fairly promptly. I figured she was being over dramatic. There were a few more customers waiting for to go orders. While I was there, a family walked out for not getting their mozzarella sticks appetizer 30 minutes after they ordered it. A fiasco ensued between the manager and the family. The manager did not handle it well at all. Another customer who had been waiting a very long time for their to go order as well commented on the "**** service". The manager cancelled his order too after he had been waiting. Over an HOUR of waiting in the restaurant and zero apologies later, I asked for a discount or free dessert since I had been spending my time waiting with zero update of time estimate besides "they're working on it" and I was ignored. So I got my free self-serve dessert of complimentary mints lol. Food tasted pretty good. Chicken Ceasar sandwich is always yummy unless the lettuce is mushy which it has been before. The mozzarella caprese left much to be desired size-wise. Seemed way too small for 8 dollars. Balsamic dressing was delicious though. Club sandwich was enjoyed by family, but was cut very oddly. They don't abide by their own hours. Time on the door is not legible and their Facebook page says they close at 9pm. Walked in at 7:45pm and was told their kitchen just closed.... Even the server didn't understand why the kitchen was "closed". Yet the restaurant had several tables still waiting on food. I'll spend my money elsewhere. read more

Love the pizza here! I try to go to Isabellas whenever I come to the north shore for vacation. My family went in, for dinning , then called for take out a few days after that. I've been here twice now. Once was dine in and the next time was take out. Both experiences were an absolute pleasure. The first time I went, I took my mom and kids. The server was so patient and friendly with the kids. He wrote their names on their cups! I have absolutely no complaints and we all loved it so much that we will be regular repeat customers. When we left, he wrote all of our names on the pizzas box. The waitress came within a few minutes & took our drink order & gave us a few minutes then came back & took our dinner order. She was very pleasant, which always makes for a better dining experience! I was invited her by my family. The atmosphere is nice but the food was just ok. I will say they're Caesar salad was delicious. I had a glass of Chardonnay which was good. Typically I like a pint not but that only has Woodbridge . I liked their thin crust but I am a sauce girl. There was barely any sauce & a ton of cheese. Hear me out... I love cheese. But when the taste of cheese is overpowering when you can't even taste sauce... then your left with a pretty bland pizza. So, while the customer service was good, I won't be returning. I am sure they may have other delicious items on the menu but pizza is one of our main family favorites. They were reasonably priced. read more

We have loved Isabella's as a go-to sit-down lunch choice for quite a few years and I wish this was a 5 star review. We love the 1/2 grilled chicken pesto sandwich with ceaser side salad, among other things. We haven't done much eating out this year (and live too far away for pick-up or delivery). It appears to me they changed from grilled chicken breast to a deli type chicken. Really salty, not a great texture, fatty pieces I had to spit out, and lots more cheese than chicken. We were excited to get out for lunch, but it was so disappointing it really broke my heart. We'll probably stop by again, one day, (to try something else), but there are too many good restaurant choices to have to skimp on quality. So sad. read more

We bought a cheese, pepperoni, spinach & artichoke hearts, BBQ chicken, & lastly Isabellas special with everything. The cheese was non-existent, the cheese pizza looked like a piece of leather by the time my husband got it home (5 minutes from store.). The cheese all tasted like cheap "plastic-y" cheese. The sauce tastes like there was no effort made, & tasted like tomato paste mixed basil. This pizza was way overpriced. I'm willing to pay for a good product, but I would rather eat cheap store bought Totinos pizza than eat this pizza.
