Wonderful breakfast place. I ordered the crazy Pig omelette, with bacon, ham, sausage and cheese. It was delicious and full of meat. The biscuits was amazing and the service was amazing.

I had the praline bacon, city grits, and the CPSK hash skillet. Overall, I'm pleased with the menu they offer. I was excited to try the bacon, but it was a bit underwhelming as it seemed overcooked. The hash skillet and grits were pretty good though. Service was good as well. I'd give it another try.

Great food (I had the omelet). Lots of menu choices - it was hard to decide. I will be back to try other options.

We started with the chicken wings with honey barbecue sauce. The wings were cooked perfectly and had a good flavor. Next were the bacon wrapped shrimp and these were one of my favorite items of the night. The hot honey sauce was so good and the presentation made them even better. The cheese pull and sauce dripping down really sealed the deal for me. Easily a 10/10. The brussels sprouts completely surprised me because they were SO good. They were topped with pecans, cranberries, pepper jelly, and parmesan cheese, and all of the toppings worked so well together to elevate the flavor of the brussels sprouts. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I've been back just for those alone. 10/10. I also tried the Bayou Mac & Cheese which was creamy, flavorful, and cooked well. My only complaint is that it was topped with tomatoes, which wasn't listed on the menu, so I would've asked for it without them, but no big deal. We also had the Cajun Pasta which was good as well. Everything came out hot & Overall, the service was excellent, everything we had was really enjoyable, and the experience matched the aesthetic of the restaurant. I'd definitely return.

Today, we enjoyed a Valentine's Day lunch at Lumora Kitchen and Bar in Covington. Lumora is…read morerelatively new and is by the same folks responsible for The District in Ponchatoula, which is one of our favs. Located on Highway 190, Lumora has a stylish, contemporary persona that is decidedly upscale, but still possesses a comfortable, laid-back vibe that is quite appealing. Service was friendly and efficient and Taylor took excellent care of us. General Manager Josie dropped by our table to share info on Lumora and her visit was appreciated. There is a full bar and a wide selection of specialty cocktails. Today I had a Blood Orange Mezcal Margarita and my wife had an Ex-Presso Martini. Both were great! I highly recommend the Mezcal spice served up on the Margarita's rim in place of the standard salt. We then enjoyed the Zydeco Eggroll appetizer, which the pepper jelly garnish made truly memorable. I then followed with the Buffalo Chicken Pinsa and my wife had the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pinsa. Both were excellent; hot, pleasantly spicy, and generously portioned. We took home a lot of food. Although we had no room for dessert, several on the menu looked quite sumptuous. In short, Lumora Kitchen and Bar is highly recommended! It's a great spot for lunch, happy hour drinks, or a special date night. We will return.

But I am a fan of trying their themed drinks because they are served in such fun and creative glasses. We always start with the Trio and chips for the table. This week we added Ceviche Mamalon. For entrees we shared Quesabirria Tacos, Mexican Pizza and Ksadilla. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. We added the yummy Bavarian Churros for dessert. For drinks this time we had Bad Azz Bear, Flaming Tiki, Big Purse-anality and my favorite - WTF!!!! Not only are the drinks strong, but the presentation is just such fun. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and energetic. The restaurant is colorful, has TV's and a cute Selfie corner. So if you're looking for a fun and upbeat casual Brunch, this is the place.

The Birria Tacos are very good and she liked the chorizo as well, the Al Pastor could use some seasoning. The odd part is you are not brought chips, you have to buy them this is so unusual since most Mexican restaurants give them to you. My honest opinion is we will probably not return as it was just not that great! But you may find you like it like others have so try it and give a post.

It was that good. A lot of us started with the Tyler specialty drink and loved it, it tasted like an orange creamsicle and lemonade combined. So refreshing and fun not too sweet. We also ordered the bruschetta, which was super tasty, and everyone was obsessed with the nuts on top. Such a good touch. Several people in our group got steaks, and every single one was cooked perfectly. We tried the scallops with potatoes, absolutely perfect, and the salmon was delicious too. Honestly, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. And the desserts... WOW. The banana bread pudding was so delicious. We had to try a few of their other desserts as well, and not a single one disappointed, every single one was spectacular. I only got a picture of the banana bread pudding, but trust me, they were all incredible. The chocolate lovers in our group absolutely loved the Chocolate Sheba cake too. Everything was so good. The place itself looks spectacular. From the moment you walk in, the seating area is so cool and inviting, I had to take pictures! They accommodated our large party so well, and the service was completely top-notch from start to finish. Our server was amazing, and we loved every second of the experience. 10/10 would eat again!!
