I was hearing how everyone loves Pardos from the many people I spoke to, and I finally found out what makes it the favorite place in town!!!! The host Sam and his hostess , so nice and welcoming , the bartender was so very polite and friendly , and the food is so delicious fresh and healthy! Oh my gosh I need to come here more often! Special thanks to chef Bryan and all the lovely people in the kitchen !!!! Definitely will be coming back !!!! Love this place so much !!!!

My wife and I stopped by Pardos Bistro in Mandeville for a Friday lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Pardos sports a very well tailored, white table cloth persona that is both elegant and contemporary and its wait staff is welcoming and also quite attentive, but not too much so. The quality of their efficient staff is really noteworthy, especially in this post pandemic world, in which truly good table service has all but evaporated. Today I enjoyed the Shepherd's pie, which was very good and attractively presented in an iron skillet. My wife liked her tomato, basil, pesto pasta, which was moderately spicy and really sumptuous. Our accompanying bread, Caesar salads, and iced teas were all very good. Pardos has a nice bar area, an excellent wine list and an assortment of specialty cocktails. Although we did not partake today, there was an impressive-sounding array of desserts, among which we were told that the bread pudding is a primo offering. Reservations are recommended for evenings and we look forward to returning to try the dinner offerings. Pardos Bistro is highly recommended!

If you haven't been to Pardos in Mandeville yet, you're missing out on an unforgettable dining experience. We absolutely LOVE their food (and especially love their drinks) We eat here at LEAST once a week. My favorite is their Beef Carpaccio!! A true standout!! Speaking of standouts ... we just HAVE to talk about their head waitress Briana. Let me tell you, she's not just a waitress--she's a superstar! Briana ALWAYS goes above and beyond to make our dining experience unforgettable. She was so sweet and thoughtful with our son, Camden, that it melted our hearts. She even went out of her way to go to the store before our arrival to get crayons and coloring sheets for him--talk about next-level service! Her kindness, attention to detail, and warm personality truly made our night special. Briana isn't just the best waitress we've ever had--she deserves an award for her dedication to making every guest feel valued. Oh wait, she GOT ONE. She was named the BEST waitress on the NorthShore. If you're lucky enough to have her as your waitress, you're in for an incredible experience! You really can't go wrong ordering any of their food b/c Chef Ryan is the Best!! He is the heart and soul of Pardos' menu. His creativity and expertise are evident in every bite, with dishes that not only look stunning but are bursting with flavor. The menu has something for everyone, If you're in Mandeville and craving an exceptional meal, do yourself a favor and head to Pardos. Chef Ryan / Briana & the entire team will make sure your taste buds leave thanking you!

Went to Pardo's last night for the first time. We were celebrating our anniversary early and we had reservations. Our server was amazing. She was also the somalier so she not only gave us wine pairing recommendations but described each dish in detail with how it's cooked and the ingredients. I'm sorry I didn't remember her name. We ordered the crab cake appetizer which was the most amazing and we have tried them everywhere. We stuck to standard menu items even though the specials sounded amazing. I ordered the trout topped with lump crab and shrimp. Hubby got the pork chop. Now he's a pork chop connoisseur and he really liked it. We chose not to order dessert but They brought us a banana cream pie. I think everyone who's celebrating something gets the same thing complimentary. Overall it was a great meal.

A beautiful evening complete with great cocktails and food! Truly perfect in every way. We loved the specials, pork, calamari and steak and expert guidance on wine list - 10/10! Service by Macy and wine team amazing!

The ambiance, the service, and the food was excellent! Best birthday dinner in a long time. I will be going back.

Smoked Shishito peppers over charred corn reduction with pickled pepper, jalepeno, crisped mushroom and feta.

I have been venturing out to favorite restaurants since my wife's passing and Pardos was always a favorite, so there I was at my favorite able in this beautifully appointed restaurant. Had gone in with a specific entree in mind, but my waitress Brianna informed me that they had just changed up the Gnocchi presentation (actually gnudi - gnocchi like dumpling with ricotta and no potato) and the description was intriguing. She was also able to tempt me with an appetizer special of smoked shishito peppers with crisp mushrooms served over a charred corn reduction. Both dishes were incredible as was the cocktail. Plus, they have a great selection of wines by the glass. Service was attentive without being over present and all the staff were knowledgeable about the food being offered. I cannot wait to go back. My youngest son and his family are anxious to join me.

5 star service. Celebrated a birthday for lunch at Pardos and they did not disappoint. The food and service were amazing. It's never crowded for lunch and the happy hour menu is extremely reasonably priced. At the end the chef made a Banana foster crème brûlée for desert. Wonderful experience as always!

Great food, drinks, atmosphere and service! We thoroughly enjoyed every dish from appetizer to dessert. Briana is wonderful as a waitress as she is personable and knowledgeable about menu choices. She takes the time to really provide exceptional service. Highly recommend Pardo's.

While having drinks we realized it was past our reservation time so we went up front to check on our table, and come to find out our table was ready (I believe they forgot about us, but no biggie). Our waiter was great and attentive. We ordered our favorite appetizer, oyster Pablo & it was just as good as always. I highly recommend! We ordered one of the specials, surf and turf which was an 8oz filet and lobster. It was cooked to perfection and was amazing. We had creamed spinach for a side, which is always great. Overall we had a great experience. 527 will remain a spot we frequent.

And my dinning companions really liked 2 of the fish dishes. The crab cakes and cheese grits appetizer was really nice, and the drinks were mixed to our liking. Our Server was friendly and helpful, always there when we needed her. Always with a smile. The location itself was comfortable and set a nice mood for our meal. The only thing I was unhappy with was the take away packing. The young man who packed my steak up literally folded my ribeye in half, to fit in a small container. I'd never seen this in my life (and hope to never see it again). Because of this, the liquid from the steak leaked onto the bottom of the paper bag our leftovers were put into. I was not pleased with this. I hope training will be provided for the people who pack take away containers in the future. This was the only bad part of our experience. I'd still highly recommend this location for a great meal.

It's so fun to watch the food come out and chat with the team if they're not too busy. Everything on the menu looks great but I decided to go with the daily specials. The arugula salad was exactly what I needed after a long flight and it was very fresh. Absolutely zero wilted leaves on my plate. Not sure what the dressing was but it balanced with the natural bitterness arugula has and I loved the pecans on top. Do not sleep on the pan seared drum if it's offered as a special! It was absolutely delicious and the vegetables were well dressed. The chocolate crème caramel was also an excellent dessert! It looks like a flan but was more like a thick mousse.

We could only get an 8:00 reservation. They were running a bit behind, so we stopped at the bar and had a drink. Their drinks were good! I tried the sour ale, it had a nice unique flavor and fit the vibe of the restaurant. We tried several things from the dinner menu. For apps - we got the fried meat pie and the shrimp and andouille sausage gumbo. The fried meat pie was really delicious! It had nice flavor and the pasty was flaky as well. The gumbo was good, but didn't really blow me away. For entrees I tried the wood smoked gulf fish . It was good, but was a little bit dry unflavorful. I was hoping for a more blackened / seasoned fish, and this was more focused on the flavor of the fish (which is fine, if it wasn't a bit dry). I also tried to cochon, which was pretty delicious. Again it was a little less seasoned than I expected, but the texture and taste of the pork was delicious and made up for it. We got the chocolate parfait for desert & didn't really like the chickory whipped cream (although the mouse was good) But to our surprise the waitress refunded the desert, so it worked out well. Overall, I thought the experience and service was good, but the food was a little lacking
