It's evident that the space wasn't intentionally set to be a restaurant, making it very small. Despite the aesthetic decor, we found some pieces to be in poor shape and the restaurant rather dirty. Highly Recommend Bridget and Her Amazing Soups at the Wine Market!…read more If you haven't been to the Wine Market yet, do yourself a favor and go -- and when you do, make sure to see Bridget! She is not only welcoming and knowledgeable but the food she serves, especially the soups, is next-level delicious. Every single soup I've tried has been a hit -- absolutely flavorful and comforting, with the crawfish pepper jack being a standout favorite. It's rich, perfectly spiced, and completely addictive. The chef at this location is clearly talented -- the steaks are amazing, and I honestly don't think I've had a single item I didn't love. Whether it's red beans, fish specials, or her daily creations, everything has been consistently delicious. Bottom line: don't sleep on Bridget's soups. Go often, try the specials, and let her take care of you -- you won't regret it!

Located in a beautifully repurposed home in downtown Covington, this charming spot exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and promptly shown to our table in one of the restaurant's small but thoughtfully decorated dining rooms. We started with the house-made whipped ricotta at our server's suggestion. Lightly topped with rosemary honey and served with grilled ciabatta, it was absolutely delicious. For our entrées, my wife ordered the Chicken Molli while I chose the Pork Cheek Marsala. Both dishes were phenomenal. Unfortunately, we didn't save room for dessert, so I guess we'll just have to return, which I'm sure won't disappoint my wife in the slightest. When we received the bill we were both surprised because we had expected it to be significantly higher than it was based on the service and quality of the food. The attentive staff, inviting atmosphere, and excellent food all help make this place stand out. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Marcello's has an upscale, yet very comfortable, persona and excellent service that combined for an elegant dining experience. A tasty cannoli followed up. My wife enjoyed a Pinot Grigio with dinner, and I a very full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, which was the chef's evening's special recommendation. Fresh seafood from the Gulf of MEXICO and a wicked drink menu. They offer several ceviches. Tapas include guacamole, empanadas, crawfish queso, fish dip and veggie salads like crispy cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. We had the crispy cauliflower served with tempura, cashew habanero crema, garbanzo hash, and chimichurri. Loads of flavor and just the right bite size for tapas/apps. Plates include churrasco, fish and grits, paella (can be served veggie or without shellfish if you're allergic), lamb, Yucatan style pork, shrimp or steak mofongo, and chicken poblano. I had the churrasco, served with papas bravas. Steak cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. My husband had the steak mofongo and the beef tips, like the churrasco, were seasoned perfectly.
