Fun new spot in Mandeville. Drinks and light fare/tapas. Very interesting interior decor!

I really enjoyed the ambience of this place and the lemon drops are delicious. I come here sometimes with a book and sit outside in the court. It is such a good time.

Great little wine bar with small plates. Exactly what Old Mandeville needed. We'll be back--often, I suspect.

On the recommendation of some friends whose restaurant suggestions have never let us down, my wife…read moreand I made reservations for a Friday evening dinner. Located in a beautifully repurposed home in downtown Covington, this charming spot exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and promptly shown to our table in one of the restaurant's small but thoughtfully decorated dining rooms. We started with the house-made whipped ricotta at our server's suggestion. Lightly topped with rosemary honey and served with grilled ciabatta, it was absolutely delicious. For our entrées, my wife ordered the Chicken Molli while I chose the Pork Cheek Marsala. Both dishes were phenomenal. Unfortunately, we didn't save room for dessert, so I guess we'll just have to return, which I'm sure won't disappoint my wife in the slightest. When we received the bill we were both surprised because we had expected it to be significantly higher than it was based on the service and quality of the food. The attentive staff, inviting atmosphere, and excellent food all help make this place stand out. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Marcello's has an upscale, yet very comfortable, persona and excellent service that combined for an elegant dining experience. Before dinner cocktails were refreshing and we then enjoyed Caesar salad and tomato basil soup before our main courses of chicken parmigiana and chicken molli, both of which were tasty in a traditional way. A tasty cannoli followed up. My wife enjoyed a Pinot Grigio with dinner, and I a very full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, which was the chef's evening's special recommendation. Marcello's has our recommendation for a special night out.

A Latin style tapas place in the arts district boasting flavors from South America (Argentina,…read morePeru, Venezuela, Yucatan), Mexico (Oaxaca and Mexico City), and the Caribbean. Fresh seafood from the Gulf of MEXICO and a wicked drink menu. They offer several ceviches. Tapas include guacamole, empanadas, crawfish queso, fish dip and veggie salads like crispy cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. We had the crispy cauliflower served with tempura, cashew habanero crema, garbanzo hash, and chimichurri. Loads of flavor and just the right bite size for tapas/apps. Plates include churrasco, fish and grits, paella (can be served veggie or without shellfish if you're allergic), lamb, Yucatan style pork, shrimp or steak mofongo, and chicken poblano. I had the churrasco, served with papas bravas. Steak cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. My husband had the steak mofongo and the beef tips, like the churrasco, were seasoned perfectly. The plantain mash was sweet and somehow savory at the same time. We loved both dishes. They make mean margaritas and caipirinhas hre, and also offer drinks like the paloma, the Bolivian sour, sangria, and specialty drinks. Service was amazing. She was so upbeat and helpful. This restaurant was a little slow when we went. It deserves a lot more love. It's so close to the touristy part of the French Quarter. Leave the gimmicky spots and come here, you won't regret it.

Definitely worth trying. Cute restaurant. Nice ambiance and vice. Clean…read more The crawfish Queso is mild, not spicy at all. Good flavor. The shrimp ceviche is delicious. The sauce is spicy. If you like spicy- get this dish. Not your typical ceviche. The Mofongo is tasty. If you like Vinha D'Alhos. You'll like this dish. The steak had a marinated vinegar taste. The meat is also very tender. Service was good. Waitress was nice and welcoming.
