I love pizza so much. And being pregnant, I was craving pizza. I went here knowing nothing about it, but the pictures looked good. My husband told me after the fact, that it's a chain he would eat at in college. This place gave me chuck-e-cheese vibes when I walked in (I did pickup). And as someone that eats pizza multiple times a week, this pizza was mid at best. It tasted frozen to me. I got cheese sticks and a cheese pizza and tasted like chuck-e-cheese. The service was fine, again, was there for pickup. The people working didn't seem too happy to be there. But the kids running around seemed to have fun. I had ordered delivery from Johnny's in a different city and enjoyed it, so I was happy to try this location. I've been debating rather or not to write this review since December. When I come in the morning or around 2 the place is always dirty. Now there were some mornings when some young lady was working the place was clean and she was sweet and attentive in December. But recently when the boys are working it's been so untidy and no one is tending to the customer in the morning. Other than that the food is good. read more

I was in line behind the most unkempt person I've ever seen, and I'll leave it at that. He was singing out loud and had me very concerned to stay there. They gave him a large pizza and drink for free, and I was told by someone there that they do this quite often. I'm not sure I'll be back, but if it happens again, it will be the last time. The Mrs. And I lunched at Johnny's Pizza House in Covington on a weekday recently and enjoyed it. Although we didn't have the signature pizza, the muffuletta we shared was good. Warm and juicy on a good bread, as befits a muffuletta. Johnny's is in a strip mall and has a casual vibe with a sort of contemporary, industrial-chic decor. Prices are reasonable. The current owner is a local young man who runs it with his best friend growing up and is keeping the Johnnys tradition alive. Great pizza in a clean and comfortable atmosphere. Ordered the pizza took an hour and a half to get here. When I called the place to check on it they told me they messed up and had to redo the pizza. When asked why didn't they call me I got a insincere "my bad". Pizza was supposed to have extra sauce had extra cheese instead. Kind of glad because the sauce was very greasy. Worst pizza I've had. This place is really neat. The pizza was surprisingly awesome! They didn't drench it with sauce, all the toppings stayed in place. The meats pizza is what we got. The crust is perfect, plenty of toppings on the pizza and all. I would def want to go back and try others. The dining area are open now. The staff still wears mask which is great, until we get herd immunity or the risks of COVID gets lesser. It tastes different and I loved it .The ingredients were very fresh and the restaurant was exceptionally clean and welcoming. The workers are friendly great but the food were not.They were out of spaghetti and I had to ask them make more. It's during lunch hour and the place is not packed. One of the worker told me it will be a 10 min wait. When it were done, a worker kindly walked to mu table to inform that they have replenished the spaghetti. Disappointed. From the moment I stepped into this place until I left in total disgust, this place was nothing but a total disappointment. I inquired about the different types of beer they had and no one had any clue about anything. Being from out of town and out of state I was not familiar with the different brands or options they have. The greeter, hostess, was clueless.So I went with a soft drink. After ordering and trying to get a salad, I went to the salad bar and there was no lettuce and the salad bar looked to be unmaintained. I asked a management person for more lettuce and she sent someone over to check to see if there was any lettuce. Didn't they believe me? Anyways they brought out more lettuce and I proceeded to have a mediocre salad. While still waiting for my pizza I was berated by the manager because I just asked questions about the different types of beer only to be told that the greeter and hostess was only 17 and she didn't know anything about them. I would think if you want to make money in the business, you would have a knowledgeable person taking orders and trying to sell your product. When I brought up the fact I didn't appreciate her having someone check the salad bar after I asked for more lettuce and told them that they were out, she went on to tell me that that wasn't her fault. The whole attitude in this place is awful. It's noisy and not a very good value in my opinion. What a shame I walked a good amount to get to this as a destination and ended up going to the deli around the corner. I think I got a better meal there anyway. This place is great!! Especially for kids. The kids buffet for lunch was only 50 cents times their age. How awesome is that?! The pizza buffet has lots of pizza options and dessert pizza plus a couple pasta dishes. They keep adding and the pizza I had was hot especially impressive for a lunch buffet. The salad bar is fresh too. The servers are attentive and keep clearing the dishes as we used them. While this isn't a great date place it's awesome for a quick lunch with the kids. read more

Pathetic customer service. I walked in and attempted to explain that we had called in a to go order but I didn't think it was ready. In the middle of that, the cahsier, without a word, turned his back on me and walked off into the kitchen. I stood there for a minute, stunned then waited 10 minutes. I tried to get the attention of another employee who ignored my presence and requests for attention of,"excuse me, sir!" So I decided to stand at the register and wait. After 10 more minutes (exactly 22 minutes after the call was placed), a third employee finally acknowledged my existence. He explained that my order would be 10 more minutes. It's my first time here. I can't tell you how the pizza tastes, but I can tell you that the indifference of the staff will leave a terrible taste in your mouth long before the pizza gets to your mouth. read more

I don't care for the buffet all that much but it's a cheap way to get full I suppose and feed the kids. Kids love that place! Lots of games in their second story arcade. This is what most folks don't get. Their buffet pizza is not as good as their specialty pizzas off their menu. I love the one called Sweep The Kitchen. That thing with anchovies and jalapeños coupled with all those ingredients is so darn good! The sausage pizza is also tasty. The sausage they use is really good tasting and unique. The pepperoni pizza is good and I'm a fan of their cheese pizza also. The bread sticks with cheese sauce is off the chain good. So my advice is if you want their best quality tasting pizza skip that cheapened down buffet they serve at lunch and go in and order off their regular menu in the evening.
