This place is really neat. The pizza was surprisingly awesome! They didn't drench it with sauce, all the toppings stayed in place. The meats pizza is what we got. The crust is perfect, plenty of toppings on the pizza and all. I would def want to go back and try others. When you think of food chain pizza places you always assumed they're the same, but Johnny's was def different and very good. Will return for sure. The game room is neat to, my niece loved playing the claw machines. read more

The veggie pizza was great, but when I took my drink home and dumped my ice out after drinking it there were big chunks of black gunk/slime in the cup. I almost threw up looking at it because I likely ingested some of it. I'll likely never go back. read more

I love pizza so much. And being pregnant, I was craving pizza. I went here knowing nothing about it, but the pictures looked good. My husband told me after the fact, that it's a chain he would eat at in college. This place gave me chuck-e-cheese vibes when I walked in (I did pickup). And as someone that eats pizza multiple times a week, this pizza was mid at best. It tasted frozen to me. I got cheese sticks and a cheese pizza and tasted like chuck-e-cheese. The service was fine, again, was there for pickup. The people working didn't seem too happy to be there. But the kids running around seemed to have fun. Overall, I probably would go back if I wanted a cheap late night pizza, because it seems to be open later than a lot of places. Sorry. read more

You come in, order at the counter, pay. They give you a number and a cup for your self serve beverage. I had ordered delivery from Johnny's in a different city and enjoyed it, so I was happy to try this location. I got the Maui Wowie pizza (Canadian bacon and pineapple) and it was just as good as the other location. I look forward to coming back. read more

Very good. The service was great. Multiple employees offered to assist us while we waited for our to-go order. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The pizza was made perfectly and was delicious. We'll go back. read more

I've been debating rather or not to write this review since December. When I come in the morning or around 2 the place is always dirty. Now there were some mornings when some young lady was working the place was clean and she was sweet and attentive in December. But recently when the boys are working it's been so untidy and no one is tending to the customer in the morning. Other than that the food is good. read more

The Mrs. And I lunched at Johnny's Pizza House in Covington on a weekday recently and enjoyed it. Although we didn't have the signature pizza, the muffuletta we shared was good. Warm and juicy on a good bread, as befits a muffuletta. Johnny's is in a strip mall and has a casual vibe with a sort of contemporary, industrial-chic decor. Prices are reasonable. Although it was not busy the wait was a little long, but all in all a good experience. read more

Let me begin with the positive... the employees were very professional and polite. The pizza is really good. On the negative side... the place itself was dirty and run down, ice machine not working, couldn't even get a beer with pizza, & did I say dirty? Some of the amusement games were broken or in very poor condition. I'd, maybe order for pickup but it was not a pleasant dining experience. read more

This is a very average pizza place. I would have rated it a 3, but they did have an unusual pizza that I enjoyed, a muffuletta pizza. There's a mezzanine with tables and a few arcade style games. It's self serve read more

The Covington location would make Johnny Huntsman proud! As a self proclaimed Johnny's Aficionado, this might be the best location. ANAAZZING!!! I'm originally from Monroe and moved to New Orleans 8yrs ago. i constantly crave Johnnys and no other pizza will satisfy that feeling. when I discovered the convington location , best believe i jumped in my car and headed straight there definitely coming back. Great food!! Beautiful store!! Decent amount of games!! Great cust service!! read more

Being from Monroe Louisiana we grew up going to Johnnys and having birthday parties there. The current owner is a local young man who runs it with his best friend growing up and is keeping the Johnnys tradition alive. Great pizza in a clean and comfortable atmosphere. Salad bar is a nice option to add on to your meal. I recommend giving this place a try and to support a hard working young man and also to enjoy a great pizza! read more

Best pizza ever!!! Customer service is also excellent! Ordered a take out to be picked up and asked for it earlier and they were able to accommodate my request! Breadsticks and their cheese sauce is delicious too! read more

Ordered the pizza took an hour and a half to get here. When I called the place to check on it they told me they messed up and had to redo the pizza. When asked why didn't they call me I got a insincere "my bad". Pizza was supposed to have extra sauce had extra cheese instead. Kind of glad because the sauce was very greasy. Worst pizza I've had. Waste of $30. Service was horrible. Customer support horrible. Will never order a pizza from there again. read more

Very disappointed. We ordered a Medium sweep the kitchen and a medium pepperoni. The hour and a half wait isn't what made our experience terrible it was the fact that we waited an Hour and a half just to receive a pizza that was cheese and pepperoni on half and nothing but sauce on the other half. I don't know anyone who likes pizza without any topping at all. Especially not for almost $50.00 read more

THEY DONT HAVE BEER! The pics on here show several Taps I walked here from my hotel telling myself it's worth it for Za and a beer.

The dining area are open now. The staff still wears mask which is great, until we get herd immunity or the risks of COVID gets lesser. It tastes different and I loved it .The ingredients were very fresh and the restaurant was exceptionally clean and welcoming. I was surprised to see muffaletta's on the menu and is definitely on my list for next visit. read more

Our first time here. One stars for the game room upstair to entertain the kids while the adults can eat and two stars for the timely pick up of our used plates when we are done. The workers are friendly great but the food were not. They were out of spaghetti and I had to ask them make more. It's during lunch hour and the place is not packed. One of the worker told me it will be a 10 min wait. When it were done, a worker kindly walked to mu table to inform that they have replenished the spaghetti. When I got my serving of "fresh made" spaghetti, it was cold. WTF?!?! The pizza was not impressive either. read more

I enjoyed some pizza on the go but I can't get my cookies to come here due to different delivery restrictions or timing of the order. At least I had some nice bacon cheese pizza but I can't get some regular cheese pizza unless I go to the place myself. The place sounds like a wonderful idea for a pizza place on a budget friendly environment. read more

It's $8 for adult buffet. (Not bad) They literally had nothing on the "buffet" I went at 12 so pizza should have been ready for lunch. They also offer Spaghetti& macaroni I would skip them they taste like water I added the nacho cheese to the macaroni just so it would have some flavor. The pizza is like wet cardboard at best. -Two stars bc honestly the flips(calzones) are pretty decent! read more

Pizza was very good and so were the bread sticks. Their barbecue pizza is my new favorite barbecue pizza. Their Maui pizza to me did not have enough sauce which is why I gave it 4 stars. I got a Keto friendly pan of pizza toppings, sauce and cheese and a salad. It was over the top with toppings and cheese. It was almost more than I could eat. To much help. They were not organized due to so many employees. Okay tasty pizza will go back. Chicken wings could have been crispier. Abita pitcher about $11/pitcher. Great for kids over 14 for they can go upstairs and play games. Owner, think about having fewer employees and cook wings more please. Employees left get in a routine. Found out they get chicken wings ready to be heated they do not fry them. Guess they send them through the pizza oven. No more wings for me. Need to slow down cooking oven and get crust cooked - at least get dough to change to a little brown. read more

I really do like this place. I have been to the lunch buffet many times but the pizza is just average like it has no flavor but is still edible. I still like it just because it's a buffet and the dessert pizza makes everything worth it!!! The peach pudding pie pizza is the best thing you will ever taste. It is like a vanilla pudding with peaches and cinnamon sugar baked on top. It is delicious. I order that from them on the regular. read more

Disappointed. From the moment I stepped into this place until I left in total disgust, this place was nothing but a total disappointment. I inquired about the different types of beer they had and no one had any clue about anything. Being from out of town and out of state I was not familiar with the different brands or options they have. The greeter, hostess, was clueless. So I went with a soft drink. After ordering and trying to get a salad, I went to the salad bar and there was no lettuce and the salad bar looked to be unmaintained. I asked a management person for more lettuce and she sent someone over to check to see if there was any lettuce. Didn't they believe me? Anyways they brought out more lettuce and I proceeded to have a mediocre salad. While still waiting for my pizza I was berated by the manager because I just asked questions about the different types of beer only to be told that the greeter and hostess was only 17 and she didn't know anything about them. I would think if you want to make money in the business, you would have a knowledgeable person taking orders and trying to sell your product. When I brought up the fact I didn't appreciate her having someone check the salad bar after I asked for more lettuce and told them that they were out, she went on to tell me that that wasn't her fault. The whole attitude in this place is awful. It's noisy and not a very good value in my opinion. What a shame I walked a good amount to get to this as a destination and ended up going to the deli around the corner. I think I got a better meal there anyway. I would definitely avoid this restaurant. read more

Great pizza, such a fun place! Love bringing the kids here to eat pizza and play games!

This place is great!! Especially for kids. The kids buffet for lunch was only 50 cents times their age. How awesome is that?! The pizza buffet has lots of pizza options and dessert pizza plus a couple pasta dishes. They keep adding and the pizza I had was hot especially impressive for a lunch buffet. The salad bar is fresh too. The servers are attentive and keep clearing the dishes as we used them. While this isn't a great date place it's awesome for a quick lunch with the kids. read more

Pretty good pizza for a price that won't break the bank if you are taking the kids out. I also like that they have a good salad bar.

Pathetic customer service. I walked in and attempted to explain that we had called in a to go order but I didn't think it was ready. In the middle of that, the cahsier, without a word, turned his back on me and walked off into the kitchen. I stood there for a minute, stunned then waited 10 minutes. I tried to get the attention of another employee who ignored my presence and requests for attention of,"excuse me, sir!" So I decided to stand at the register and wait. After 10 more minutes (exactly 22 minutes after the call was placed), a third employee finally acknowledged my existence. He explained that my order would be 10 more minutes. It's my first time here. I can't tell you how the pizza tastes, but I can tell you that the indifference of the staff will leave a terrible taste in your mouth long before the pizza gets to your mouth. read more

I live right across 190 from this place, but never had a reason to go. I mean really, what kind of fatass has to go to every pizza place in town, right? But here's why I like it: upstairs it's like a miniature chuck e cheese, with better beer, and better and cheaper pizza. A niche, I admit, but the kids loved it. I originally went there to pick my kids up from a party, but have since been back by myself for the pizza. read more

I don't care for the buffet all that much but it's a cheap way to get full I suppose and feed the kids. Kids love that place! Lots of games in their second story arcade. This is what most folks don't get. Their buffet pizza is not as good as their specialty pizzas off their menu. I love the one called Sweep The Kitchen. That thing with anchovies and jalapeños coupled with all those ingredients is so darn good! The sausage pizza is also tasty. The sausage they use is really good tasting and unique. The pepperoni pizza is good and I'm a fan of their cheese pizza also. The bread sticks with cheese sauce is off the chain good. So my advice is if you want their best quality tasting pizza skip that cheapened down buffet they serve at lunch and go in and order off their regular menu in the evening. I also ask them to cook mine a little longer where the crust is crispier. It's a unique tasting pizza unlike anything I've ever had. read more

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. The good news: the pizza is edible. The bad news: the workers at this place simply cannot keep up with the buffet. We've been here several times now. It's probably the worst pizza buffet I've ever been to. The variety of pizzas they put out are not even that great. If you go there, make sure you have plenty of time to kill as you impatiently wait for more pizzas to come out. The young employees at this location just don't care. It's really not worth going to Johnny's Pizza unless you are on a budget and just want to stuff your face with greasy pizza. And let's face it, we all get in that mood sometimes! read more
