    Poke bowl

10/10 experience! I can't believe I hadn't heard of the Gladly sooner. The food is phenomenal, the service is attentive, and the ambience makes it a perfect place for din. I ordered the poke bowl and it was exactly what I wanted.

Friendly staff, modern feel inside, and the food is good! I've been here multiple times and always get a warm welcome experience. The taco of the day, was so delicious! It should be on the menu all the time! The rice and beans pairs with it had a perfect amount of heat in it, my friend and I were in AWH! The steak salad was very light. The dressing or vinaigrette tied in all the flavors, the only thing we didn't like was the sweat potato chips in the salad. They were hard to eat, I get adding a crunch factor but maybe if they were smaller pieces or prepared a different way it would make a difference. Not pictured: is the artichoke dip....that made an impression! So good I licked it clean. Will absolutely return!

The drive from Chandler to the Gladly is one that I will gladly do any day because the food here is scrumptious. The original chopped salad here is my favorite in the whole Phoenix area it's is the perfect pairing of flavors - I could eat this as a meal on its own. The salmon sweet corn and dressing together produce a combination that has you wanting more with each and every bite. The pan roasted halibut entree is also very well crafted with the toppings olive tapenade and brown butter polenta. The service here is impeccable - staff were very attentive and even helped us to validate our parking. Orders were taken promptly and the food came out quickly as well. This is a top tier restaurant in the valley!

Salmon-the skin was crispy, but it was overcooked and flavorless!

I really like the atmosphere here and the service was outstanding! However, my salmon was overcooked and flavorless! The skin was crispy, which was nice, but the fish had zero flavor! I mean really, did the chef put any salt and pepper on the flesh side of the salmon or did he/she only season the skin side? For the love of God...put some salt on both sides and please only cook it to medium! Just my two cents! I hope management reads this because I'll be returning to The Gladly with a large group of friends in February and we've selected salmon as one of the choices for our group meal. I hope and pray the fish will be cooked properly with seasoning please! Okay, I'm done talking about the salmon! The Chopped Salad was good and the spinach dip was very good! My spicy margarita was also top notch! However, the salmon left a bad taste in my mouth!

First time at The Gladly (and any of their In Good Spirits spots) and it was such a fun experience! We stopped in for AZ Restaurant Week and tried the three-course menu. Drinks: Strawberry Moon + Bourbon Zombie. Both super yummy and on the sweeter side. Course 1: Tuscan Kale Potato Soup was so flavorful, and my fave. The burrata was fine, just not super memorable. Course 2: Pork Chop + Coffee Rubbed Short Ribs. I'm not a pork chop fan, but my bf liked it. The short ribs stole the show!! Paired perfectly with the maple mashed sweet potato (which I did NOT want to share lol). Course 3: Chocolate Torte + Blueberry Bread Pudding. Both were good, but the bread pudding definitely won. The vibe was dark & moody with candles, lots of windows for daytime light, and a spacious patio. Parking was easy with validation, which is always a win. Service was kind but a little off, and the food took longer than expected, but worth the wait. Overall, I'd totally come back, especially for those short ribs and potatoes.

This was our first time here last evening. From the moment we got to the door it was opened for us and the staff was so welcoming. Seated us to our reservation quickly and got our drink order shortly thereafter. Quite a selection of alcohol and non based beverages. I believe it is part of a restaurant group but showed up as unique. The ambiance is cool. We ordered the Cobb salad, house salad, HH shrimp cocktail (ample) sea bass, salmon and the spicy shrimp. Everything was delicious and hot when served. The sauce on the spicy shrimp had some ancho flavor but not too hot. The Yukon gold mashed potatoes were amazingly creamy. The sea bass was tender and the creamy sauce enhanced the flavor. I could go on about the sourdough bread to start and everything in between, but I think you get it. Enjoy!

Last week I went to The Galdly with some friends for a going away party and had a great time! We had an amazing server who joked with us but also gave us some great recommendations and described every dish perfectly. The service and ambiance is perfect for any occasion from a birthday dinner to a fancy date night. To start we got the crudo which was very tender and topped with a delicious cucumber salad. I could've eaten multiple plates of this appetizer! The spinach dip was also the best I have ever had, I would go back just for this side. My herb crusted chicken was served on top of a Parmesan mushroom risotto that was rich but not too filling, perfect for a side with the chicken. The chicken was juicy and cooked just right, an all around amazing dish.

Stopped by Gladly in Phoenix and was really impressed! The chopped salad was super unique and refreshing -- definitely not your typical salad. I tried it with smoked salmon, which was good, but in hindsight, I probably would've gone with chicken instead. The standout dish was the grilled chicken with mushroom risotto -- absolutely to die for. Rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. Easily the highlight of the night. The vibes throughout the evening were laid-back but classy, and the Thai margarita was the perfect cocktail to tie it all together. Just the right balance of sweet and spicy. Knocking off one star only because of the smoked salmon pairing not quite hitting the mark, but otherwise, I'd absolutely recommend and return!

Had dinner at The Gladly to celebrate my birthday, and it was wonderful. My friend and I were treated exceptionally well, and the team even surprised me with a birthday dessert. As always, the food was delicious and the service was gracious. A lovely experience from start to finish

RAN to leave a review and not because of the food (although food was amazing) but because of our server, Chris!!! He was the most high vibe, friendly, knowledgeable, and so patient (our group was very ADHD lol)!!!! Made amazing drink recs, which were truly some of the best cocktails I've had in the area, and the OG AZ salad lived up the hype. 10/10 experience all around! Can't wait to see Chris again we love you

    Is there a dress code?

Hey Emily! No dress code, come as you are.

Is the restaurant loud? I get so annoyed with all the loud restaurants in Phoenix. I want to have nice conversations while dining. Not shouting at each other.…

It's average, not whisper quiet. I could participate in a conversation with everyone at the table. My understanding of "loud" will probably vary from yours, however anyone shouting would feel out of place here.

Are they owned by the same as Citizen Public House?

Hi Julie! Yes indeed. We are run and operated by IGS Hospitality which is known for The Gladly, Citizen Public House and Benjamin’s!

    Do you allow children?

    Hi Christine, Yes of course!

Is happy hour only at the bar?

Absolutely not! It's throughout the restaurant. We've enjoyed New Years Eve here, as well as many Happy Hours, and even their private party room for our daughters wedding. Stellar place!

Do you have to pay for the private dinner room?

Hi Ana, private dining room bookings often have a food & beverage minimum spend requirement (but not a "fee"), depending on the time of day, and day of the week. You can get more information by contacting our Director of Events Robin Geraci at…

Is this place good for Brunch?

It's terrific for brunch and we like it because they open earlier than most restaurants. We usually go on Sundays but I believe they have brunch on Saturdays too. They are consistently good. We are big breakfast food lovers and it is nice that…

    Do they sell Vodka?

Yes. They have a full bar.

The cozy, intimate comfort of what used to be Coup des Tartes blended seamlessly with the deep, peaceful, gentle "love" you felt from House of Tricks into one calm, warm, easy spot. Farish House is a real, soul-warming experience across the board. The service, care, comfort, ambience, food, value and clear love they put into everything make Farish House our new favorite place. We walked through the front gate, up onto the front porch and inside where we took one of three small tables in the cozy front salon of this soul-warming 1899 French Bistro. *Food: we started with a bottle of Australian Cab. Shockingly good. And not crazy expensive, especially on Thursday when bottles are 30% off, it was an amazing deal. Turns out, the owner, Greg, was in the wine distribution business for several decades, curating wine programs for top Valley restaurants, so he really knows his stuff and their vast wine selection is amazing. We were offered a basket of truffle popcorn, mmm, salty, crunchy, and rich. We ordered the Chef's Selection Charcuterie and Warm Noble Baguette & Marinated Olives to get started. Both were beautifully curated, balanced, and incredibly high quality. The flavors and textures blended perfectly. with cheeses broken from large wheels, rather than cut and sliced, house-made pickled grapes, unique and unusual ingredients, smokey meats, compound butters, just awesome! We then moved into one of the cozy dining rooms and ordered the slow roasted Peposo Short Ribs and fingerling potatoes pan fried in duck fat served with Moroccan spiced aioli. Both were rich, warm and delicious. For dessert, and yes we thought we'd explode from all this food, we ordered a massive slice of bread pudding, some of the best I've ever had, rich, gooey and incredible. Along with that we ordered a beautiful Espresso Martini and an off-menu banana cream martini. Their drinks are not "poured" or mixed here, they're balanced and expertly crafted. This is French Bistro comfort food at its finest and it's unmistakeable. *Service: it just doesn't get better. Everyone working there is "family". And that's how they make you feel; like family, cared for, wanted, welcomed. Service isn't a choreographed masterpiece, no tuxedos, cloths draped over arms, napkins frantically re-folded when you step away, dishes served and cleared in unison. No, it's relaxed, warm, friendly, kind, like being at your grandmothers house and knowing you're surrounded by people who care. Met Greg and Katherine, the owners, and their daughter Alexandra and several other "family" members taking care of us. Their appreciation for your presence is unmistakable. *Ambience: it's just plain comfy, cozy, easy, relaxed, warm, deep, gentle, worn (in a good way), wise, and calm, that's the best I can describe it. Hard wood floors, cozy rooms, soft, warm lighting. It's a non-pretentious, French bistro that feels like the home of a favorite grandma or great aunt living in a warm family cottage in the outskirts of Paris. *Value: it's perfect. It's not ridiculously expensive like Kai, Brinkley's, Cafe Monarch, Christopher's, or French Laundry where you go, "okay, that was fun but we'll only do this very occasionally/rarely and it's probably worth it, but dang that was pricey!" No, Farish House is 100% value to experience, not cheap, but not overpriced, the balance is just right. It's a place you can go often, and we will. Yes, our meal with apps, drinks and dessert, some on happy hour and the Thursday wine special, was around $200. I'd happily say this experience was worth every penny. *Overall: I can't recommend Farish House highly enough. Parking is on the street or in a nearby lot, and that's a downtown thing. There's a small lot in back. The food, ambience, service, quality, and experience were stellar. I wish I could rate them 6 stars instead of just 5. I'll return often and highly recommend Farish House to everyone. I genuinely hope you enjoy as much as we did!

I was lucky enough to have both of the owners (Kathryn and Greg) come by and greet us. This bottle (pictured below) of Pinot Noir was suggested to us, and we decided to have with our meals since our chosen dishes were beef and pork. One of the best wines I have had recently. We had the stuffed date appetizers which were devoured so quickly I did not have a chance to snap a pho My friend chose the beef short rib dish, which was well presented and extremely flavorful. After carefully reading each item, it was very hard to make a choice.
