Having a couple of drinks before going to a party
Stephanie M.

We haven't been here since before the pandemic and nothing has changed. I enjoy coming here Dax the door guy is such a joy he's so kind and very professional I honestly hope that he never leaves. The bartenders know how to mix great drinks and keep the bar smelling and looking great. This also seems to be a dog friendly bar as well. For a straight person this is a bar that I can continue to always come back to without being harassed I feel super safe when coming here to Phoenix.

Super friendly staff and customers. Drinks were on point and surprisingly cheap for Phoenix. Made some new friends which is great when traveling alone.

Best gay bar in Arizona. Todd and Todd the owners are absolutely delightful! The indoor space is spacious and the air conditioning works well in the blazing Arizona summer heat. The patio area is open and inviting. The staff is super friendly and lots of fun! Bar 1 is now serving ROXX vodka yay!

My friends and I have been patronizing this bar for years now, ti celebrate the end of each work week. It's pretty basic, with ample bar seating, long tables, pool tables, a lounge area, and an outdoor patio heavily shaded by trees. There is no dance floor and generally no big events. Bartenders mix up and serve drinks with speed, video screen are everywhere playing music videos geared toward the clientele, which is a very mixed and diverse crowd. In all, it's a bar that's comfortable to be in, lively but not overly loud, and a great place to make new friends.

None of these gay bars in Phoenix are 4/5 stars. I want to give these places high ratings but is my experiences here at this business pulling me back in? ...and the answer is no. I wait up at the bar every time. The bartenders see I'm waiting but can't even acknowledge and say I'll be with you shortly because reality is the bartenders forget they're working to sell alcohol and keep customers there. The business these owners lose because of mediocre staff that can't simply say hi or any friendly welcoming gesture to someone standing up at a bar. Bartenders who make me wait and then get frustrated because I'm asking about the signature drinks being advertised on their tv screens? This lack of customer service has been consistent at this bar. It is why my recommendation is 50/50. The owner is cordial and the manager was nice to us as we were leaving but that cordial behavior doesn't exist in its staff that I've experienced. I'm disappointed because it's a nice looking bar.

Shittiest bar ever when it's busy the lines reach out to the bathroom and the owner and his boyfriend just sit on their ass and do nothing

Music is so loud you can enjoy your drink or company! I'd rather the dogs be back a lot more comfort!

Better than Stacy's which cost more I wrote that like back in 2020. Now it's 2023 Left Phoenix and moved to Seattle but this place SUCKS AFTER 20 MONTHS HERE Coming back and the first place we will go is C7 memorial day weekend because here the social life sucks Kept in touch with a few ‍ women I knew from living there for 3.5y and a few still go there once in a while. I liked the cheap drinks, the slutty clientele , and it's just better socializing

When I sat at the bar, I immediately got service from the bartender with a smile. The booze selection was very limited. I paid $21 for a Woodford Rye on the rocks. You can buy an entire bottle for $35 at your local grocery store. There was a nice clear cube I suppose. We ordered the cajun rubbed wings. We receieved six wings and were charged $18. I said that it was happy hour and the bartenders said that they gave me the regular order of wings anyway because they did not give me a HH menu. Apparently on HH (and if you possess a HH menu) you only get three wings. The bottom line is that the wings were chewy and tough and the Togarashi Ranch tastes like feet. We asked for regular ranch and they brought out miracle whip. The Tomahawk Pork chop sounded great, but after the wing issues, we bailed to cut our losses. The friendly bartenders did reduce my wing pricing to match the HH menu. The service was actually quite good and I like the folks behind the bar. I just don't like the way they run the restaurant. HH food is supposed to be a better value - not portions cut in half. The Togarashi Ranch is either a poor recipe or badly executed. Everything is wildly overpriced. I suppose if your traveling on an expense account, it doesnt matter. If you're spending hard earned dollars, go to a restaurant - not a hotel. Five stars for the folks behind the bar. Zero for management / food.
