Really enjoyed this meal, especially the burrata to start! All of the cocktails were really tasty! And I enjoyed the entrées as well. The scallops were seared very nicely. I will say the price point is a little high, but that Scottsdale for you. We sat inside. They have a lot of low tables, which isn't my favorite, but it was kind of nice vibe for the night. And then the patio looked really nice outside! Service was great especially the guys filling water were always coming around which was really nice.

Cute spot , definitely over priced for what it is but we still had a great time. Our waiter was awesome. I took a star away and honestly should take another one but they made it up with great service but it was 109 yesterday, when we walked into the restaurant for our evening reservation it was hot and just kept getting hotter. We ended up asking why it was so hot indoors, turns out their AC was broken, I'd think, they'd call people who had reservations to let them know that, this is Az in the dead of summer and we celebrated my friends birthday for 2 hours and 15 minutes melting. It was bad how hot it was inside. Minus the AC issue I'd give it a try again.

The establishment is beautifully decorated. I wish the dressed code was enforced because the shorts and flip flops devalues the restaurant. The DJ adds a nice vibe. The service is great. Our waiter checked on us multiple times as well as other staff members. They open at 5PM our dinner reservations were at 9PM. They ran out of Arancini Wagyu and meatballs. I ordered the Grilled Caesar. I don't want was grilled about it because there was no protein included and it was $18 for just lettuce. This was my second visit and I'm all set.

The ambiance is cute inside, very dimmed and spacious. I ordered two cocktails: midnight magic and an espresso martini. The midnight magic is very sweet - good enough for one drink. The espresso martini was super strong. For dinner, we ordered the Caesar salad and the ribeye. The salad was good and refreshing. The ribeye was grilled to perfection, however it was too much fat overall.

40 Love is one of the best new restaurants in Old Town Scottsdale! This restaurant replaced a very famous bar in the past and this concept is truly awesome. My wife and I came for a date night which was perfect for us and got a mix of steak, pasta, and appetizers which were all delicious. Many other restaurants appear to be the same in Scottsdale, but not 40 Love which stands out among a competitive list of date night restaurants to choose from. My only small critique is that the place is a bit smaller on the inside (patio is huge though), so I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time because the bar seating is also reservations only which is different than other places. If you want a restaurant with a creative menu and an intimate yet fun atmosphere, then I highly recommend this place!

Really wanted to like this place so bad. Heard about the hype andwe came during the late night menu on a Saturday night. I'd suggest coming another night if you want to try their food and receive good service. Had to waive down servers just to know we were here. Both bars were packed, tables were full, but server who was supposed to be in our area was no where to be found. Luckily Chris walked by us enough, and told us, he'd take care of us. We ordered drinks and food from the late night menu. Ratings for food below: WAGYU YAKINIKU SKEWERS 5/5 FRITES STREET CRINKLE CUT FRIES 4/5 CAVIAR WAFFLE STICKS 3/5

We went here on Friday night and overall had a really enjoyable experience. This is a newer restaurant, and you can tell they're still finding their rhythm--but the food was tasty, the drinks were delicious, and the space itself is absolutely beautiful. We did have an 8:15 reservation and weren't seated until about 8:35. I chose "standard seating," so that may have played a role, but we were seated in a smaller room away from the main dining area, which felt a bit removed from the atmosphere of the rest of the restaurant. Our server--Brendon (or a similar name)--was wonderful. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the night. We started with the caramelized meatballs, which were very good and full of flavor. That said, I didn't really get the caramelization described on the menu; they felt more like baked meatballs in sauce. Still tasty, just not quite what I expected based on the description. For our main dish, we shared the Snake River American Wagyu farm ribeye with two sides. The flavor of the steak was excellent, but it was much thinner than I expected for a ribeye cut. The preserved wild mushrooms were good--I loved the variety of textures and mushroom sizes--but I felt they could have used just a bit more seasoning. The red bliss potato mash, however, was delicious and something I would absolutely order again. Overall, we had a great night and I can't wait to come back, hopefully sit in the main dining area next time, and try some new dishes as the restaurant continues to settle in.

First restaurant of 2026 did NOT disappoint!!!! We loved it here, everything from the service to the food, incredible. As a fan of Niall Horan I heard about this place and checked it out. Think country club vibes, a lot of palm trees and palm frond decor. So cute. We came on a rare rainy night in Phoenix, but I'm sure if we were here during the day, the vibes would be even better. We each ordered cocktails, 10/10. We looked like cosmo and Wanda, said the server :) we started with meatballs and Cesar salad. Absolutely phenomenal. Would go back just for the appetizers. We had the 8oz filet mignon with the mashed potatoes and they were to die for. Sooooo good. Can't say enough good things about this place!!! Can't wait to go back.

Give me an LA vibe with a South Beach feel but in the middle of Scottsdale!!! Ladies and Gentleman... 40 Love has entered the chat! Great food, great customer service, great indoor and outdoor seating options. Great for date night, girls night, or even an intimate business dinner. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the cocktails were strong and well crafted, and our waiter Isaac was knowledgeable and prompt. Give this place a try, you won't regret it!

This is one of those places that plays music so loud inside that you're gonna have to yell just to be heard by your table mates. When I got here, I actually wanted to sit at a table but they were so pushy with me and insisted that I sit at the bar so that's what I ended up doing. I wanted a little more peace and quiet so I sat at the bar outside. I ordered a wagyu filet mignon and a New York cheesecake. The wagyu filet mignon cost $80 but I only felt it was slightly better than a normal filet mignon and thus would say that the price is not worth it. The New York cheesecake was heavy and became a chore to eat once I finished 75% of it. The service was a little inattentive too. Overall, I didn't feel the "love" of this place and I think that there are much better fine dining spots out there. My bill came out to $103.68.

I have been wanting to try this place since it opened and finally had the opportunity. It was easy to make a reservation and I love the location. The hostess greeted me promptly as well as the gentleman on the outside (he was very nice). I was seated pretty quickly (I was on time). It was two of us and mt friend was outside on a call but the original table I was seated at felt like a kids table lol so it was nice that the waitress noticed without me saying anything and moved me to a nice booth. The space is beautiful, the music was IT! I pretty much knew all the songs being played. Our server Christina was really nice and provided great recommendations. I like the simple menu and I ordered the seabass and the wedge salad (chopped). The salad was soooooo good lol I would go back just for the salad and the sea bass had a nice flavor. I love the vibe of this place and it seems like it was turning into a lounge after awhile. I would def come back for drinks with friends.

40 Love is a new hip restaurant in Scottsdale offering modern American cuisine. What I didn't love was the food. The lobster pasta sauce was a bit gross. It had a sweeter taste. The appetizer we got were the caviar sticks were very underwhelming and not worth the price point. I will say that the service we got was amazing. The staff constantly tended to our needs. The ambiance is beautiful, fitting for the downtown Scottsdale location.

What we didn't realize at the time was that we had stumbled upon one of those dishes that would stick with us! So when Liquor Pig closed, we were genuinely sad to see it go, but then delighted to learn that the same chef was spearheading Wayward and, most importantly, that the legendary bone marrow poutine made its way onto the new menu. And thankfully, it's still just as memorable! The bone marrow is incredibly luscious, rich, and decadent, and the whole dish is the perfect indulgent pairing for Wayward's creative cocktails. The portion is also a great size for two people to share, especially since it's definitely a rich dish. We also tried the Jaew Chicken which was tasty and definitely a little different from what I'd normally order. It was a nice addition to the meal, but honestly, the poutine is the reason we'll keep coming back to this place! While walking through the restaurant, I noticed quite a few tables enjoying the bone in short rib taco board and those portions are serious. That platter could easily feed four people, so it's definitely something to keep in mind if you're dining with a group. All in all, I'm happy that Wayward has kept one of my favorite dishes from the Liquor Pig days alive. Now I realize that the 2026 was a Summer Olympics and Curling is part of the Winter Olympics, but we didn't care Upon entry to go to the host stand and tell them what you're looking to do (activities vs bar/waiting). The space is relatively open and you can immediately see the fully stocked bar, the bowling area, the back axe throwing lanes, and the enclosed curling lanes. We opted for a package that got us unlimited games (any) for an hour. We started with curling and we didn't need any special clothes or shoes. We were lead to a lane and it's set up like shuffleboard (you can stand on either side and there's two separate color stones). There's ice where you glide your stones and you stand on rubber for traction. You can glide by hand or use a piece of equipment that is essentially a stick to help push and guide your stone. There's an attendant on duty to help any stones that are stuck or that don't make it down the lane The experience was awesome. We've always wanted to try curling, but it's difficult to find somewhere that is set up to let you do that. We were amazed that we finally tried it in a desert of all places. There are no brushes like in typical curling, but you still get a sense of the Olympic activity. The bowling was fun too, but it's a smaller version like you might see in some novelty bars. Axe throwing was that of typical ax throwing. You had a couple different sizes of axes, there's lanes and you throw at a wooden target. They had computers to input your name and keep track of points. It was sometimes difficult to stick the wooden target, but it was fun We didn't try the food or drink, but everything looked good. The staff were very helpful. It was a weekend, and it wasn't overly crowded which was nice. Overall it was a fun experience Some tips: If your stones seem to be getting stuck down the lane, ask the attendant to move you to another lane. That's what we did and it made all the difference Explore the rest of bustling Old Town Scottsdale. Tucked away behind a curtain, this little speakeasy-style spot feels like you've discovered a secret Scottsdale hideaway. The atmosphere is dark, intimate, chill, and just the right amount of sexy. Definitely giving late-night cocktails and good music energy. The music was actually one of my favorite parts. It created this effortlessly cool backdrop without being overwhelming, so we could relax, sip our drinks, and enjoy the vibe. It felt sophisticated but still very laid-back -- exactly what I want from a post-dinner cocktail spot. We started with the Porn Star Martini and the Mocha Martini, along with a couple glasses of champagne because obviously we had to keep the celebration going. And yes... we loved them enough that we ordered another round of both martinis LOL. The Porn Star Martini was fruity, playful, and perfectly balanced, while the Mocha Martini was rich, smooth, and dessert-like without feeling overly heavy. Both were SO delicious and beautifully crafted. Our waitress was also incredibly sweet and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. I always appreciate when the service matches the atmosphere, and she definitely added to the warm, welcoming feel of the night. And then came the snacks! They brought us truffle potato chips, truffle popcorn, and some delicious nuts to enjoy with our drinks. Everything was so good that we actually got a second refill because apparently we were not ready to share with the table next to us. The truffle flavor throughout the snacks was such a luxe little touch and paired perfectly with our cocktails. Overall, Bar Bambino is such a cool, sexy, intimate little escape. I loved the hidden entrance, the moody atmosphere, the music, the cocktails, and the little elevated snack situation. It's the kind of place that feels like a secret you want to keep to yourself... but also absolutely want to tell everyone about.

She agreed that the lemon was much stronger than other salads, but she enjoys lemon so she was okay with it. I tried her Wagyu cheeseburger (happy hour meal) and unfortunately both of us felt like the meat itself was lacking lots of flavor. My sister ordered the OG chicken sandwich and she said it needed more sauce for flavor. I will confidently say my favorite food of the night was broccolini. The cook was perfect and the flavor was great! I would recommend that side to everyone! As I stated before, there was a large party during our meal, so service time was admittedly slower than expected and we had to remind our server to bring us spoons for our desert, for a to go box, and for a water refill. Since it was busy and packed, I understand it could be difficult so I won't judge it too harshly. I will say one of the food runners, Shaye, supported our table and was very kind and understanding when we flagged her down for something. She really made our experience that much better with her attitude and speed! Given all of the information above, 4/5. Improvements on the food would make it 5 stars for me.

Went back again for their steak frites special ($20 on Mondays and Tuesdays 3pm-close). We had kind…read moreof a large group (11) without a reservation (which we should have but it was not a planned event). They were able to accommodate us although the hostess was a little rude as we could've just went somewhere else if there was no room. All of us ordered the steak frites and a lot of ours had really big fat pieces so there actually wasn't much "meat." In comparison to the first time we went here, the steak the first time was much better. They also changed the chimichurri recipe which was needed and was really good this time. A few people got the dole whip boozy marg. They said it was a 3/5 as it was inconsistent drink to drink, ex: one got cherry, one didn't; one was more watery than another one. They said they wouldn't get it again. Overall it was a little disappointing compared to my first visit, especially with most of us only being able to eat half our steak. They also changed the plating to the wooden boards which were kind of warped so when we were cutting our steaks, it was shaking the table a lot.
