    Tiramisu. So good

May I please select a 6th star? Drinks first. I had an old house old fashioned which was rye based. We also had the lavender bees knees which was Sipsmith London dry Gin, lemon and lavender infused honey syrup. Had bee pollen and sugar crusted on the rim. Amazing Ok this European comfort food restaurant is to die for. We had the charcuterie board which was so good with the wide variety of ingredients. We also had the duck confit fingerling potatoes. Wow. Greg and his staff provided an amazing experience. You must, must try this place.

Nikki G was phenomenal, great CS, knew the menu extremely well, even with the Valentine's day Special Add On Menu, was very attentive and accommodating. Greg, the owner/manager stopped by what a fine gentleman, told us the story behind this marvelous restaurant and the food was FANTASTIC, one of my favorites in the Phoenix Market.. We had Lamb Chops, Hokkaido Scallops, Salmon Piccata, The Dates-for a Starter & Dark Chocolate Mousse, Carmel Pecan Bread Pudding for Desert. The food was AMAZING!!! Drinks and Wine, PHENOMENAL. Parking is a challenge if you don't know where and what is in the area. Check with them and they will guide you. Ambiance is interesting in this old house, If in the area you must try! Thanks to the entire staff for making the dining experience memorable.

This is a very lovely restaurant in Downtown Phoenix. We did not have a reservation but we got there early so we got a cute table in the front of the house, next to a stunning painting of peacock. The food here is very tasty and the plates they used are so beautiful. The scallops appetizers are perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sea bass main dish is fresh and delicious. The bread pudding is warm and perfectly sweet.

We went for my birthday dinner. The food was fabulous and the staff were attentive, friendly and fun. The building had tons of charm. I had a great experience.

What a nice little spot. The atmosphere is so relaxing and homey. There is a beautiful outdoor area and inside is unique as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. 5 Stars We have been to many steakhouses and this was the most well cooked steak we have had. From the sear, to the sauce, and the perfect cook, it was delicious. The Green Beans were so fresh and had a great but subtle crunch. The garlic and bacon worked perfectly. What a fantastic Tiramisu. So light and amazing flavors. I loved the blueberries as it added a freshness and another layer of flavors. The dates were cooked perfectly. Great balance of flavor and a delicious sauce. The Le Mac was one of the best Macs we have had at any restaurant. It wasn't too heavy and was a perfect amount of creamy. The Knickerbocker drink was absolutely amazing. The raspberry puree really shined through. The Espresso Martini was a perfect after dinner drink. Very well balanced. The Rosemary Lemon Drop was delicious. The addition of the rosemary took this to another level. 4 Stars - The pork belly had great flavor! I just prefer my pork belly crispy. If they would broil these for 1-2 minutes it would be amazing! The fingerling potatoes were very well seasoned and yummy. Again, we prefer them a little more crispy. The Sweet Potatoes were simplistic and simple. Well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The asparagus was fresh and for as large as they were, held together well and weren't flimsy. They were a little lacking in seasoning but overall good. We will definitely be back to try the short ribs and sea bass! 4**** = Set themselves a part with quality food and I want to go back. 5*****= You have to go out of your way and make a special trip to try the deliciousness that is there!

Wonderful wonderful place! The restaurant was in a small quaint European style home that felt vintage and nostalgic. Gorgeous restaurant with beautiful artwork inside. My friend and I were in the mood for dessert so we decided to pop in here during our night stroll in downtown; we couldn't resist the hidden beauty of this restaurant. We were quickly greeted with wonderful service and were sat in this adorable tiny table next to a wall of paintings. We ordered the Crème brûlée and it was so good! The sugar crust was perfect and the cranberries added a nice sour touch. So delicious! Everything else on the menu looked yummy so we definitely plan on coming back again soon :D . The waitress, Gretchen, was so sweet and kind :D !

We were looking for some fun and unique place to take my daughter for her birthday, and this place was perfect! The setting and atmosphere of this place can't be beat, dry in the heart of downtown nestled amongst skyscrapers sits this old historic house. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. We started with some cocktails, which they have quite an extensive list of. Then we ordered the bacon wrapped, chorizo stuffed dates; to die for!! I ordered the braised short ribs and both my wife and daughter ordered the sea bass. All were tender and delicious! Finally we capped off the evening with the tiramisu, yum!

Met up with a grade school friend who I haven't seen in years. The staff were attentive and very friendly, and the space is unique - loved it. It's beautiful - would make a nice date night restaurant. Really enjoyed my meal and the wine. I would definitely go again. Parking is a little tricky they have a small lot in the back and street parking. If you go on their website they have great information on parking.

If you want a gorgeous, cozy restaurant for a sweet date night, The Farish House is the perfect place to go. It's perfect for patio weather -- set along the quieter streets of downtown Phoenix -- or for dining in the historic home. After making a reservation online, we were seated immediately for our anniversary dinner. Our lovely hostess gave us a head's up that the Chianti-braised short rib--which we definitely had our eyes on--was running low, so we were able to put in our order for that to ensure it didn't sell out. So glad we did! The meat is so tender, and the veggies and polenta pair fantastically with the dish. The Mahi Mahi Provencale came with a surprise standout: the ratatouille. I would definitely order this on its own, though the fish was delicious! We also thoroughly enjoyed our starter, the Kale & Goat Salad that comes with tasty dried fruits and a dijon-maple vinaigrette. The non-alcoholic drinks are also lovely here! Love the selection of mocktails. I would definitely return--it's one of the better elevated dining experiences (especially at its price range) in a lovely area to walk around afterward.

Every since my birthday of December of 2024 me and my boyfriend have made this our date night spot, the staff here are so lovely and sweet to all their costumers we never have a problem with our drinks we've made a little game to finish all the entire wine list they offer, my favorite is their Thursday 30% bottles and their Fat duck fingers (i believe that's the name) we absolutely love this place and if your ever trying to find a nice little spot to have a drink or dinner this is the place to go from the music to the decor it's truly a magical place t

10/10. The patio is the perfect ambiance for a lovely date. The food was delicious. The price was fair and portions were generous. We also snagged happy hour for some of the apps and drinks for a couple bucks off! We enjoyed the blueberry smash mocktail, tequila old fashioned, bacon stuffed with chorizo wrapped dates, goat cheese carrots, duck fat fingerling potatoes, & le Mac with two short ribs added. All of it was so delicious we will definitely be back! Our server was sweet and the perfect balance of checking in with us. Lastly we ended with the furry pecan brownie - mmmm!

One of the best dining experiences in Phoenix! We spent Valentine's Day on the patio and had an excellent meal. The drinks, appetizers, entrees, dessert, and staff were exceptional. Everything about this place from the ambiance to the food is cozy and inviting :) we will definitely be returning.

Their valentines Day dinner menu was amazing. We had the lamb lollipops and the scallops. They were amazing! We are always have an amazing experience and their wines are exceptional. Angie is amazing and Greg and Katherine are so nice!

For a start we ordered the oysters, which was kept everyone stuck between being nice and fair, and wanting to take all for themselves. We also ordered the octupus which was very good. For my main, I had the salmom rillete. Well made and pesented - I only thought to take pictures after I ate. Our group was never rushed for the bill and we enjoyed a beautiful evening sitting on their porch. I am looking forward to going back more "prepared" and enjoying their seabass or beef bourguignon.

I even chose to spend Mother's Day here this year because it has always been one of my favorite local spots. Over the years, we've brought our small 12-pound bichon on several occasions and comfortably dined on the patio without issue. Unfortunately, during today's visit, we were told that animals are no longer allowed on the patio and were instead directed to sit on the metal benches in front of the restaurant ...benches that had no table space and clearly were not set up for dining. What made the experience disappointing wasn't necessarily the policy itself, but the way it was handled. As longtime patrons who have supported this restaurant regularly for years to be on a regular basis with staff, the interaction felt dismissive and honestly a little offensive. It was surprising to feel so unwelcome at a place we've consistently supported and recommended to others. I still value this restaurant and appreciate the many good experiences we've had here over the years, which is why this visit was especially disappointing. I hope management takes customer loyalty and consistency of service more seriously moving forward.

An extra treat was that they have bottles of spicy oil on the tables, so I was able to enjoy the crusts by slathering them with the tasty oil as though they were breadsticks. On the way out, after mentioning to the bartender how good the oil was, I was gifted a couple of condiment cuplets to-go, which was a thoughtful and nice touch and sort of made up for the server who wasn't particularly warm or informative as I had to ask about the specials and whether or not all the pasta is freshly made, etc. Heck, if you have a great selling point like homemade pasta, talk it up and get us to drooling! There is a variety of seating available, including outside and at the bar--bar has an inside section as well as outside which is a nice design for the lovely weather days. However, it's unfortunate that the outdoor seating is on such a busy traffic corner, so it's not the little retreat it would otherwise be. The lunchtime music was more like happy hour music, not conducive to conversation--maybe for the cellphones-at-the -table crowd it's okay, but being near the Phoenix Art Museum and Arizona Opera, why not add to the cultural experience of the area by celebrating its Italian origins with some Italian music? Even if just added as interludes during every few pieces, it would enhance the ambiance. We had to raise our voices to carry on our conversation, but it was manageable. However, when I came back the next week with a friend with a hearing impairment, it became more problematic. She tried adjusting her hearing aids, but the thumping rhythm kept taking precedence as we tried to find a quieter corner, but it wasn't possible as it is a small space and speakers were close to each table. I felt so bad that she couldn't enjoy a meal there--we both were so looking forward to having a fresh pasta dish, but just couldn't stay. Upon leaving, I felt I should let management know why so I waited to speak to him, offering constructive criticism about the sound level but he was not the least apologetic nor said he would take it under advisement, but was completely dismissive and harrumphy as though we were annoying problems and not potential regulars with suggestions worthy of consideration. How hard would it be to have a quieter area or make a speaker accessible with volume control? People, whether on the spectrum, with hearing impairments, or just lovers of good conversation deserve respect and when it is not given, will go elsewhere....

From the very first glance, it felt like something I had been craving without even realizing it. The ribbons of tagliatelle were impossibly light, perfectly coated, not weighed down but lifted by a delicate, silky sauce that clung to every bite like it belonged there. And then--the lobster. Sweet, tender, and rich in that unmistakable way that only fresh lobster can be, it didn't just complement the dish, it elevated it into something unforgettable. But the real thrill? Breaking into that lobster claw. There was something almost ceremonial about it--the crack, the reveal, the reward. It turned the meal into an experience, something interactive and satisfying in a way that went beyond flavor. It was indulgent, yes--but also playful, exciting, and deeply gratifying. Every bite felt like rediscovery. Like reminding myself why pasta has earned its place as one of life's simplest but most profound pleasures. After five years, this wasn't just worth the wait--it exceeded every expectation I had built up in my mind. This wasn't just a dish. It was a comeback.
