I come grab a bagel on my way to work every now and then and today was different. I ordered online and when I came in - I asked one of the staff about my order and she asked what my name is and I told her. Then the staff member at the register said to wait in line. I thought that was odd as if it was ready it would be cold- but I did it anyway. As I was getting closer, the 1st staff member asked me about my name again and she said it was almost ready. As I continued to wait in line a lady behind me asked me in a very pissed off way if I was in line. I told her in my own frustrated tone that they asked me to wait in line but I didn't know what to do from there. The staff member at the registered gave me the dirtiest look and then continued to whisper to the other staff member looking at me again. They proceeded to leave my bagel in the container on the counter for an additional 5 minutes I guess to punish me for asking questions. Is it my brown skin or curly hair. If you go to daily bagel whatever you do, do not ask questions. As you will be treated unfavorably. read more

This place is good but they can't handle modifications at all. I usually get a sandwich and ask to substitute a flavored cream cheese instead of the plain cream cheese-- this almost never happens. I've been here twice now. I can't say that I'm overly impressed with their bagels, but both of the lattes that I have were superb! Too many places add so much milk that there's no espresso flavor. I drink my coffee black because I actually like the flavor of coffee and it's the same with my lattes. I want to taste the espresso! I love that they're just down the street from my apartment, and easy to get to. I haven't had any issues with the service... everyone's been nice and plesant to me! read more

There's lots to love about the Daily Bagel. The location is on my way to work - especially helpful in an area where there's not much in the way of food. They've got solid everything bagels and tasty cream cheese and I love that they have canned yerba mate (which is my preferred way to caffeinate). The service is generally friendly and the prices are pretty reasonable. Love it! read more

Ewwwww!! The "eggs" look like they're premade cold bricks. Mushrooms served raw and cold on an egg sandwich bagel. The bagel isn't a bagel at all, more like bread shaped in an O. Worse breakfast in a long time. Just horrible. read more

The Daily Bagel is home to the most mediocre bagel you will ever put in your mouth. It's not bad, but it's definitely not good. My tastebuds are not dancing in joy or doing a jig in delight. They're just kind of sitting there, like "yeah, there's some food here". Also, the employees seem very much like they've just been told they have to babysit their annoying 12 year old cousin without pay. This place is good when they don't mess it up, but we order sandwiches and somehow every time a certain kid is making the sandwiches he cuts the sandwich in a way you can't eat it unless you take it apart, puzzle it together and have the sauce on the outside of the sandwich. I like this bagel shop. Ordered a dozen bagels with two large cream cheeses for around $15. Not a bad price. Their chive cream cheese is really good! I will probably be a frequent buyer since I live so close and it's an easy and convenient breakfast. The atmosphere of this place is very relaxed as well. I stopped by around noon and there was a good amount of people talking, reading, working. I hope to come back and study there on the days I feel sick of studying at home. I also don't see why they have such average ratings-- their service was nice and friendly! read more

I don't get why it took 30 minutes for me to get a single bagel with cream cheese. One of the girls working wasn't even doing anything.

To start, the bagels and cream cheese are very good...if you can get them. I have had issues with 2 orders THIS WEEK with items not being included in my order for my office. The first order I tried to resolve on the phone with the "supervisor", who was incredibly rude and placed the phone on the counter and walked off, leaving me on the phone for several minutes before I hung up. The rest of the morning the phone line was busy and I was only able to attempt to resolve it by using Facebook messenger to contact anyone. I was told a refund would be processed but it hasn't happened yet. I decided to give them another chance and ordered 2 dozen bagels and 4 tubs of cream cheese for our office break (went through DoorDash). I paid a rush fee to insure they would arrive in time for the scheduled 9:00am break and ALL 4 TUBS OF CREAM CHEESE were missing. Our DoorDasher was told that the order was complete when he picked it up. He then went back to the store to get our missing items. I tried calling the store to alert them and no one picked up and the voice mailbox was full. Thoroughly disgusted with the service and attitude of the employees at this location. My boyfriend and I often argue about whether or not the Daily Bagel is worth the wait. To be fair, the food and drinks are pretty good, and the staff is usually friendly. And I've never had a problem when I've dropped in for a latte at 6:00 am and was the only customer. But once they get busy, the place falls apart. We stopped by for bagel sandwiches (to go) this morning at 10:50, and didn't leave until after 11:30. While we waited in line with 12 other people, there was no one making drinks, one person making sandwiches, and at least two people in the back room that weren't helping in the front. We actually watched a staff member in the back room drink a latte and chat with a co-worker during our entire time in line. After ordering our sandwiches, we waited for 19 minutes (yes, he timed it). Our experience represents a pretty standard visit. It's very frustrating standing in a long line and watching the staff amble around with seemingly no regard for efficiency or good customer service. I'm not sure we'd go here if it wasn't so conveniently located near our apartment. Bottom line--make sure you aren't in a rush, or it's early enough that you're the only customer. read more

Service is always slow when it isn't even busy. This last time I ordered something and had to go up to the counter 3 times to exchange it because it was the completely wrong order. Finally, they call me up again to tell me they're out of chicken for my sandwich. I ask for turkey instead, but I get just a plain turkey bagel when I ordered it on sandwich bread. My family only comes on Sunday mornings and it's usually fairly quiet. Our service has been fine and reasonably quick(not freaky fast like jimmy johns!) but were talkin bagels not subs! The lox is always delicious and capers falling all over the place as I chase them down like runts candies only they taste better! What are capers anyway? other than delicious. My kids Love the berry cream cheese and beg us to take them there. And a sac of day olds usually follows me home(sometimes I even toss them at the dudes on the corners that don't yell at passers by) anyway it's a nice clean little place with news or sport news on the tv's a nice selection of tasty morsels and somewhere I'll keep coming back.I can't complain about the coffee like some others bc I don't get any. love this place, if you get in early you can get a bag full of day-olds that you can take to the office and be everyone's best friend. They make their own blends of cream cheese too! I love the pesto cream cheese and the lox. All super good. I guess the only bagel I have ever been dissapointed in is the orange cranberry, I don't think it has any of those flavors in it , so other than that one little bagel this place is great! read more

My spouse took a bite from one of their bagels and there was a piece of blue plastic in it. Naturally, this resulted in getting sick after finding a foreign object in the food. But I'm not going to let my personal preference get in the way of the fact that they do make a really good (and reasonably priced) sandwich here. The location is really close to my house. But the customer service and product lack in MANYMANY MANY WAYS!!! A toasred bagel should be toasted. And when asked for a few cucs toms and onions added I dont mean one of each. Cream cheese should be one there too an not just a 11/6 of an inch spread. Their coffee is always on point!! I love their drinks!! I've been here at least 50 times and the coffee is super consistently good!! The food is also yummy and the staff is awesome. There's just one employee who's always ALWAYS pissy. She's plain, blond and seemingly in the late stages of puberty so I suppose emotions are in tumult.
