We were in Eugene for the week and discovered these fabulous bagels. The lox bagle was awesome. Great friendly service too!

Not really anything special just good bagels. Cinnamon crunch bagel was really boring I'd hoped for a cinnamon bagel with maybe a streusel type topping or something but it seemed there was just cinnamon and crystal sugar sprinkled on top. read more

The most delicious and affordable bagels. They make all sorts of bagel sandwiches. I like the classic bagel and cream cheese. But there are dozens of different types of bagels and cream cheese options. If your over in that part of town it's a must go to. They also have no problem make you custom bagel sandwich. I almost forgot to mention the coffee. They could be a stand alone coffee shop it's so yummy. I go back and forth between the milky way and snickers. Go go go try this place. read more

There are too many good coffee shops for me to revisit this one. The mocha had no flavor, so I asked for another shot of chocolate. Then the added chocolate was way too much and lumpy to boot. This place is a no return for me. How difficult is it to make a chocolate mocha??? read more

I love this bagel shop. I live in California, but visit Eugene often to see family. Whenever I am there I go to this bagel shop almost every day. The Asiago and Swiss bagels are my personal favorite- but they are all good! The cream cheese is delicious as well. read more

Bagels are ok nothing fantastic but solid. The smoothies are usually pretty good. The biggest issue is the service. Ordering takeout is like pulling teeth. Service is rude, they consistently will put you on hold then just hang up. Miss items on orders (I think it's because it takes too much effort to make). It's close to our apartment so we continue to frequent but if there was another option I would stop going in a heartbeat. At this point, I'll probably suck up the inconvenience and frequent another bagel shop. read more

Went here on Wednesday and I usually love it but not this time was different. Ordered the lox sandwich not up to par they were stingy with the lox, half of the tomatoes were not ripe and the rest were mushy and borderline compost material. Had to search to find the onions and capers. An added bonus was that the sraff were NOT Hetero friendly! Not worth the drive across town anymore when they charge $8.50 and a mandatory minimum tip of 15% when paying on a card! read more

Gave them another try and better than it has been in awhile. The help was focused and friendly. The food still takes awhile but it was good. They seemed to have done quite a bit of cleaning and that's good. I am glad I didn't just write the place off all tougher. I'll be back and really hope the keep it up. read more

I've come here last 3 Sundays because it's within walking distance and it's made to order. Im not sure how long I waited the first Sunday but it was long enough for me to think of making note of the service time next time I come. The second Sunday it was 13 minutes for a bagel melt. No modifications on the sandwich and about 12 people in the storeaybe half with food. Now today, it took 17 minutes for a bacon egg and cheese and a Baja chicken sandwich on whole grain bread. At 12 minutes they called our order and said it was on the counter. We took the food and realized it was not the food they said it was. A lox sandwich and bagel. We returned the food to the counter and they proceeded to give it to the correct people. Health code violation the food left the counter and we touched it and they still served it. At 15 minutes they call us to the counter and they are out of chicken and the bagel chips. We ended up getting a turkey sandwich on a bagel somehow instead of a Baja chicken. Oh and they're out of napkins. read more

The staff is always super friendly and the food comes out fairly fast. The atmosphere is nice too; it feels way less corporate-y than a Starbucks or Panera, but is still a great place to get work done on a laptop. Good bagels and great cream cheeses. The issues are the way they cook the eggs and meats (in microwaves) and poor quality of the hot coffee. If they had a grill and ground twice as much coffee for the drip machine, this place could easily be 5 stars. read more

I love the fresh, warm, toasted swiss cheese bagel with a side of sliced tomatoes. I can go on my lunch break and grab an excellent latte and bagel lunch for under $6. My coworker and I order from here once to twice a week. I'd honestly have to say at the very least they get my order wrong every other time. Whether it's the wrong bagel sandwich or the wrong coffee. It's a constant struggle dealing with the incompetence of the staff. Just today I ordered the same weekly Sunday order and they made the wrong coffee for me. I'd say this place is just ok. I think the bagels are good but the sandwiches are sloppy and messy. The workers are always friendly but service is slow. Went in early on a Saturday morning, no one was even in the store and I ordered 2 bagels toasted with cream cheese. Somehow it took 10-15 minutes to get my food, pretty unusual. I definitely prefer bagelsphere as they have a much bigger selection of delicious sandwiches, but I only continue to come to daily bagel because I can walk there. read more

I love the location, the staff always seems friendly to me, and I've always been happy with the food I've ordered. I think it would be helpful to have a place to plug-in my laptop. These days I think most bagel/coffee houses have access to power. I'm pretty particular about restaurant cleanliness, and my impression is they keep the place clean. read more

I love The Daily Bagel! I go here every weekend. I've tried all of Eugene's bagel stores and this one is by far my favorite. I get an everything bagel toasted with butter and the Almond Joy coffee drink. They have a large selection of bagels (I'd guess about 25 varieties) and quite a few other things including cinnamon rolls, cookies and salads. The bagel sandwiches look delicious although I've never had one (but I really should). Other bagel shops charge way more for their bagel sandwiches than The Daily Bagel, and if their sandwiches are as good as the bagels themselves then they are definitely just as good, if not better. I wish they'd open a 2nd store closer to downtown because I'd get breakfast there every day! read more

If you're hankering for a real bagel, this isn't the place to go. Too soft and bread-like. Also there is a lingering after taste that makes me wonder how many preservatives these bagels are made with. If you're desperate I guess these would work in a pinch, otherwise go to Bagel Sphere for a real bagel. read more
