Filled to the brim with ice

Latte is so full of ice that there's maybe half a cup of actual drink. Bagel is too tough to bite through and was served with burned bits on it.

Got the Mexican mocha iced per the barista's recommendation and it's delicious! The apple fritter was yummy as well. The design and aesthetic is appealing including some cool murals.

Coffee is a must for me, especially when I'm traveling back home to the PNW. I opted for Black Rock Coffee Bar as one of my fellow running friends had posted about them previously, so I figured they'd be a good option to try this trip. The outside is unassuming in a strip mall parking lot, however once inside you get the chill coffeehouse vibes. The service was a little slow, especially since there was no one in front of me, but I wasn't in a hurry so it wasn't an issue. I studied their menu and selected their seasonal coconut caramel cold brew. The cold foam was delicious with a hint of coconut and the cold brew had a nice subtle sweetness. I'd definitely return to try other drinks when I'm back in Eugene next.

Black Rock has been on my list of places to visit for a while now and I am so glad I was finally able to stop in. I was only there for a blip, but they left a great impression on me. The service was so lovely. A very friendly and warm group of staff. I ordered an oat milk latte and, this is hard for me to say, I enjoyed it better than the lattes I get from that popular coffee place that rhymes with "all bucks". This looks like a great spot to stop by and do some laptop work. Which I am hoping to utilize sometime during the Summer.

I'm always happy when another coffee option is added to the list in Eugene! They had their grand opening today and things were very promising of how this place will serve the community! Although the line was very long, the baristas were getting drinks out so quickly and the line moved fast. They were all also very friendly and very knowledgeable of their menu even on a super busy opening day! When I asked what sugar free syrup options they had she listed them off without having to check a list. If they continue to operate this well then you will be a very happy customer!

Is it normal to "turn the oven off for the day" over a half an hour prior to closing? Disappointing service.

This place is not worth it. Bad quality and mostly horrible customer service. Please make sure to read all the review first.

A great donut shop to visit. Forget other donut places. This is the place to be. Support local businesses who care about the community.

If you aren't looking for it, then you might miss it. Lox, Stocks, & Bagel isn't exactly in a…read morerecognizable space, but once you find it, then you're in luck. For starters, the bagels are made fresh daily on site. From sweet to savory to adorned, Lox, Stock & Bagels has pretty much every palate covered. They even make bialys, those Polish delicacies that are a cross between bagel & roll (softer because they're not boiled). Any or all of these offerings can be topped with flavored cream cheese, butter, or other spreads. A bagel on its own can run between $2-3, but when you add a topping or schmear, then you're likely around $5. That may seem a little steep, but the value is pretty outstanding. My foodie adventure buddy loves their jalapeño cheddar bagel, topped with the salmon cream cheese. That is a pretty much a meal and runs just shy of $7, which is pricey but oh so good. Even adding lox, a Jewish bagel tradition, can add up but it's worth that every-so-often treat. Besides, lox is a premium cut from the salmon belly, so the price tracks. Mostly, you can tell that these are bagel artisans at work. The staff really seems to value making the perfect bagel, and the sandwiches and bagel options show just that. The bagels have the right amount of softness with that boiled exterior, and the flavor profiles are distinct. Lastly, the space is not huge but comfortable. Wi-Fi is free and easy, there are plenty of tables, and they support local food needs with donations. The coffee is solid, with local beans roasted by Coffee Plant. Parking is easy and shared with the Safeway lot, and once you find this space, you're pretty much guaranteed to come back.

Excellent bagels; these are the real thing. My sister will only eat them from here, because…read moreapparently they're the only place left in Eugene that makes them the way bagels should be made (boiled, rather than baked). They're tucked away way up in the south hills at 40th and Donald, so not right in the center of things, but worth a special occasion drive or definitely a stop if you're in south Eugene. If you want the best selection you should get here early. By noon or so they were pretty low stock, but I got a couple asiago bagels for us. I also picked up some cream cheese; it was bacon and something--green onion? chive?--and I wasn't sure how it would be but was pleasantly surprised; it was pretty good. Service was fast and friendly. I believe there's a cash discount offered, if you choose to pay that way. There are a few tables in the place and it's not very fancy, really bare bones, but it's a good place for coffee and breakfast. I'd love to try one of their breakfast sandwiches sometime. I don't know why, but a good bagel sandwich makes me happy in the morning! As it is, I'll be happy to try jalapeño cheddar bagel sometime soon.

I needed breakfast quick and decided to give them a chance and I'm glad I did. I walked in and was able to place my order immediately. I got an egg sandwich on a plain bagel and a plain on plain, both toasted. The girl taking my order was nice and friendly. I sat to wait for my food, and within about 10 minutes it was ready. I took it to-go since I had somewhere to be and when I got into it I was pleasantly surprised. It was pretty good! It's far from the best bagel or sandwich I've ever had but it hit the spot on a busy morning. My order was correct, hot, and came out quickly. The egg wasn't fresh, it was that kind of fluffy fake feeling egg that McDonald's has, but it was fine. The people working here were all friendly and nice. I didn't have any issues with attitude or anything lol other people complain about. I went around 9am on a Sunday and it was busy, but everyone was fine. Maybe the people leaving bad reviews are the problem The restaurant was fairly clean but could have been cleaner. There was plenty of seating and parking. I didn't use the bathroom so I can't speak to its cleanliness. Overall I had a good experience here and will be back. Don't listen to the bad reviews, the people here are good!

01/24/2026 Daily Bagel impressed me from the first minute. I…read morestopped in for an egg and cheese bagel with orange juice and coffee, and everything was spot on. The bagel itself was fresh, warm, and seasoned perfectly, the egg cooked just right, and the whole thing put together with care rather than rushed assembly. The coffee was solid and the orange juice was fresh and bright, making the whole breakfast feel complete rather than disposable. What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were genuinely kind, upbeat, and attentive without being intrusive. While I was sitting and eating, I heard multiple customers independently praise the food, and every time the staff lit up with pride. When I offered them a small gift on my way out (micro puzzles I had on me), they received them with warmth and surprise rather than obligation. Before leaving, I told them how much I enjoyed my breakfast and they reacted with the same sincerity I heard throughout my visit. It is rare to see a kitchen and front-counter team that takes such obvious pride in their work and in the experience they are creating for customers. Daily Bagel is executing at a very high level in both food quality and service. They are doing something right, and it shows. Consider this my public recommendation: this is the kind of independent shop that deserves to be noticed, supported, and celebrated. I will absolutely be back.
