After ordering, I realized I could have ordered a real ice cream mocha milk shake. Will have to get one of those another time. Service was top notch, and my drink was delicious. They use the real caramel, and it was so full of flavor. It also helped my migraine that was trying to creep up on me. It is nice to know they have good drinks, because I do often frequent DB in town. I will definitely be stopping by a little more often.

Worse than that though was that somewhere I saw that the hours were different than they actually were... HOWEVER, the owner/manager's response when I notified them was fabulous. They were genuinely sorry and I get issues when opening a new place, particularly when it happens so quickly. So I visited FINALLY when they were open. The manager was there at the time and she was EXTREMELY pleasant and friendly. She was apologetic, after some conversation she realized that I was the one that they had talked to online on FB. Needless to say the customer service here is awesome. I only wish they were open like a split shift -- morning and then evening. I also hope that they are considering getting iced drinks and iced teas etc. Anyway I had a mocha and it was truly different and TOTALLY and completely delicious. I had them put it in my thermos from a competitor and apologized but told them that if they got their own cups I would happily use that ;) That being said that mocha was strong but smooth. The chocolate was clearly something different than used elsewhere and I believe I read it was Euphoria chocolate. Definitely made a difference. YUMMY! I also got the Dragonfly Sweet Chai. It was served warm and had great flavor too. It wasn't exactly like a sweet vanilla chai like I prefer and it had less spice than other chai tea lattes, but it was still more spice than I prefer. That being said it has great flavor so if you are a chai lover give them a try. Lastly I got a latte that was recommended when I asked the mgr what her favorite drink was. She told me but then I said that I wanted her to just make it as if it was for herself. In the end she told me that it was a latte (regular milk) with cinnamon, nutmeg and honey... ummm I was thrown a bit until I tried it -- DELICIOUS. YES I purchased 3 drinks. I am a drinkaholic... but they were also $2 each at that time.. AND I had to write a fair yelp review that reviewed more than one drink right? Well that is my excuse and I am sticking to it. Nice amount of flavor & sweet enough without feeling like an overload. Perfect. I was a little underwhelmed getting the peppermint flavor. It definitely lacked for paying extra for it. Barista was quick to greet us. Not overly friendly, nor unkind. Just a brief hello & took order and got busy on our drinks. We both liked our drinks and I'm happy to know of another small coffee shop that was good. There is two windows for drive up ordering at. Good menu with both drinks and food options as well as a seasonal menu. The coffee shop is in a shared tight parking lot alongside beer garden and flower nursery so if you have a bigger vehicle it may be hard to get into.

As far as the last few months it seems their hours vary & workers may or may not be there during "business hours" or open late etc. it seems to be more consistent lately. Hopefully that continues. Their menu for food changes a lot. We got biscuits and gravy and it's definitely just a can of gravy poured over some frozen biscuits- understandable but not top notch. Other owners used to make their food from scratch and have more options. The last 3 visits I've gone in the last month have all been lacking. From extremely slow service, to wrong drinks made, to using the wrong account, drinks being bitter, and being asked 4x what my drink is once another car rolls up on other side. Might help to write them down if it is too hard to remember. Then given wrong drink. I feel like it was really delicious and consistent tasting, but I have not been impressed lately. I'm not sure what's going on. We like this place since it's a small business and we always try to support the ever changing small business folk, but I'm hoping things are better next visit.

We decided to stop by and check it out on a particularly cold and rainy Eugene day. The menu had a ton of interesting choices. I decided to try the brownie batter drink which was a delicious rich drink that tasted like a combination of hot chocolate and a latte. I was happy to see they had nonfat milk as many places in Eugene have gotten rid of that in favor of milk alternatives. My partner got the cinnabomb, a combination of cinnamon and white chocolate, in tasted just like a cinnamon roll. He got his with oat milk (they also offer coconut, almond, soy, and cashew). He also got his half sweet, which was plenty sweet for his preference. We also got a pup cup for our dog, it was one of the cutest ones I've seen. A little 2 oz cup of whip cream with a tiny little dog treat on top, he could barely contain his excitement. A great new addition to West Eugene!

The service was 100% top notch. Helpful. Friendly and knowledgeable, not only about what they offered but about the regions best shops! The coffee itself was very expressive. The Camaroon was totally my style with an earthier tone and the Chai was delightful. The outdoor seating was so very comfortable with a unique sort of panache that I would love to have at my neighborhood coffeeshop. The raked gravel was a nice touch. And even though they didn't have indoor seating with the drizzly day, it was a highlight that I will be repeating in our future travels.
