The Original Firehouse Coffee has become one of my go-to spots for great coffee. The quality is consistently top-notch--every drink I've had here is a solid 10 out of 10. While it isn't the type of place where you can sit down and hang out (it's drive-through or walk-up only), it works perfectly when you just want excellent coffee without the frills. The staff is pretty friendly and efficient, which makes the quick stop even better. I appreciate how consistent they are with both the drinks and the service, and it's clear they put pride into what they do. Edit a couple months later: still no prices. No prices on the window for a while now. Too long to not have prices.. Orders always end up being more expensive than anticipated. Id like to tip more but i feel like prices change depending on who's making the drink. 8$ for an iced 20oz chai is nearly $3 more than Starbucks 24oz. Ive also bought the 24oz which was also $8, so thats been confusing. Pretty expensive and not consistent prices. considering other local coffee options in town. read more

I want to give this place a higher rating but I just can't! The coffee is good, the staff are super friendly, and the menu is endless. BUT the pricing is crazy. The price for a cup of coffee is already priced high and then they charger per flavor, per cream, and an additional fee if you use a card. On top of a coffee already being $6+ at this point they also ask you for a tip making it awkward to say no. If you want to spend about $7-$9 on a 20oz coffee this is a great spot but if you want a good coffee for a normal price point I suggest going somewhere else. I want to love this place but I can't justify for charging .50 cents per add in to basic black coffee and then a request to tip. read more

I went here after a friend told me about the Chocolate Mocha Shake. Intrigued by the words mocha and chocolate I went to try this. The shake was very good... Tasted great. The thing that was lacking is customer service. No welcome and a feel as if the business was too good for us and the employee had a very snotty demeanor Made me think I was just another customer they just wanted to hurry through. Also, it is ridiculous that you get charged .25 cents for whip cream and .50 cents to use a credit card. I think this business will not get anymore business from me. read more

The absolute worst customer service I've ever received. The owner is horrible, witnessed his wife accidently spill a drink she just made us and he proceeded to SCREAM at her (in front of his customers) when it was clearly an accident. He would not stop, this went on while we sat there in silence while he angrily remade our drink and she cleaned it up in tears. Each and every time we go here every single employee is so rude. What happened to coffee being about customer service and making a good drink. Do not go here unless you want to be treated horrible and bad over priced coffee, save yourself! read more

The owner (a man who I don't know the name of since he doesn't wear a name tag) is incredibly rude and heartless towards his staff AND his customers. Constantly berates and belittles his employees in front of customers, never wears a mask around customers or employees, and doesn't know how to work his own payment system. okay so I have been going here for years best mocha milkshakes hands down but they are the most expensive coffee spot charges 1$ for a lid for crying out loud to get whip cream for 75c So in order to have whip cream you're charged $1.75 they charge to use your card and and now charging for ice Ridiculous Plus the blonde older lady and the younger girl with long blonde curlyish hair are just out right full rude To charge like they do at least be a little more nicer they might actually get a tip as well read more

When I go to get a coffee and I'm paying for it, I'm not just paying for the coffee, I'm paying for customer service. You can have the best coffee in town but if your employees are rude it makes you the worse in town. Seriously, improve the personalities of your employees and maybe you'll succeed. My first time here and I won't be back. They charge an additional $.50 for using a debit/credit card. The coffee tasted burnt, and I kept drinking it for a few minutes hoping it would grow on me but I just grimaced with every drink. I LOVE their coffee and the people who work there. They are knowledgeable about the coffee they brew and serve, and it is reasonably priced. For a little extra you can have ice cubes made of coffee in your iced coffee instead of regular ice cubes. Sometimes during the busy times there is a line of cars in the drive thru - but they keep it going fairly quickly by coming out to get your order or confirm your "regular" order so it is ready when you get to the window. They do have a punch card for a free beverage after 10 at the regular price, cudtomer appreciation sales and double punch days. read more

I will start this off by stating that I have been a barista for 3 years so I can get picky about my coffee, but I'm genuinely disappointed in the service I received today. I get it, making q complicated drink can be annoying, especially when it's blended, but the barista who served me was rude and rolled her eyes at my requests. I asked for a medium blended snickers with almond milk, and a mix of bold and smooth espresso. She charged me 50 cents more for asking for mixed shots, which is absolutely ridiculous. If someone were to come through my coffee shop and ask for half-calf (half decaf half full calf espresso shots) I'm certainly not going to make them pay extra unless they ask for an extra shot. I know that perhaps this isn't the barista's fault, but no where on the menu was I informed that I'd be charged more for asking for mixed shots. I feel as if she did it because she could. I also requested almond milk, because I am severely lactose intolerant. I took 3 sips before I was in agonizing pain for the better part of my 2 hour commute to Portland. My drink definitely contained dairy, which I understand as a barista is sometimes an honest accident and it can get mixed in somehow, but after how rude the barista was to me, I don't feel like making a real excuse for her. I definitely will not return if I see her working. The other ladies have been incredibly kind, and always make my drink correctly, but this experience has turned me sour. The price for a medium blended snickers with almond milk and mixed shots was $6.50, which is nearly a large blended drink at Dutch Bros and is MORE than a venti frappe at Starbucks.
