This location is a joke. It blocks all the parking for the other establishments. The customers are all so eager to get their daily fix that they don't care if the block you in and the service is slow. I enjoyed the high energy and friendly staff They just opened yesterday, so they're working out their process, but doing so with a good attitude, so major props for that! I ordered the mint chip blended chiller. It was way too sweet for my liking, but a great dessert. Of course, it takes going to a coffee shop a few times and figuring out how you like them to prepare a drink to make it just right, so that just means that I'll have to try them again! ;-) read more

I LOVE Black Rock!!! It is my favorite coffee place in the Eugene area. I'm obsessed with their drinks. Personally, I enjoy getting an iced caramel blondie but anything from them is tasty. Their staff is also very friendly and a pleasure to interact with. Also, the inside is clean and such a nice space to sit with a friend and chat or work on the computer. Went here during opening week to give them a try since this was my first adventure here. Mostly I wanted to see how their java chip would live up to my wife's standards because this is her favorite drink at other establishments. The wait in the drive thru was quick and the staff was friendly and informative about their specials and how to sign up for their virtual punch cards. Ordered an irish cream breve and was given what tastes like burnt drip coffee with cream. Ordered a black tea with their sunrise premix (strawberry passion fruit with orange juice) and was handed a drink with no syrup or orange juice. Pulled back around in line to order a new drink because I was disappointed with the tea and was told the sunrise doesn't have orange juice in it. To replace the tea I ordered a grapefruit guava fuel (which i paid full price for with no objection) and they didn't put any grapefruit. I'm not happy... I'm a regular at this fine establishment and I usually have quick in and out times being that it's a drive through coffee spot. I understand the "Covid" issue, but that's been an issue for quite some time and it never slowed you guys down before. This morning Myself and several others waited in the drive through line for FIFTEEN minutes (I timed it) and watched the barista casually having a full blown conversation with one customer that entire time (I'm assuming she knew this person). Saturday crew needs to take work seriously. Myself and 3 other cars had to drive away without coffee because we have jobs and lives. Some people time their morning to be able to get your great coffee on our way to work. Unfortunately, the risk of being late to work outweighs the joy of drinking your magical beans and I will think twice about getting stuck in black rocks drive through line on a Saturday next time. The Sunday crew is great... at least the gentleman I normally deal with on Sunday is great. I hate giving less than five stars but I didn't get my coffee this morning so forgive me if I'm a little cranky. in all seriousness, it's a great shop with good coffee... just don't show up on a Saturday morning when you're on your way to work.
