It's not like going to a bad bar or even restaurant where you still can eat a few hours later. Coffee has a small window and a maximum amount of intake. That being said, this morning we chose wisely. Not only did we use Yelp but we backed up our decision with a google search and that took us to Reddit. Equiano was a top suggestion on both sites. And we understand why. The service was 100% top notch. Helpful. Friendly and knowledgeable, not only about what they offered but about the regions best shops! The coffee itself was very expressive. The Camaroon was totally my style with an earthier tone and the Chai was delightful. The outdoor seating was so very comfortable with a unique sort of panache that I would love to have at my neighborhood coffeeshop. The raked gravel was a nice touch. And even though they didn't have indoor seating with the drizzly day, it was a highlight that I will be repeating in our future travels.

A charming local cafe!…read more We've tried the matcha, hojicha, yuzu matcha spritz, miso honey latte, and chai lattes and all were yummy. The quality of their ingredients is good - probably the best I've found in the Eugene/Springfield area. Their vegan cinnamon roll is also good - rich/sweet frosting that balances well with the pastry that isn't dry and is sweet enough that makes you keep going in for the next bite. They have a bright, rustic interior with high ceilings, a variety of indoor/outdoor seating, and surrounded by a few local businesses (spice & tea, antique, plant stores). Service is fast, servers are friendly. This is a good place to wfh. My only qualm is outlets are hard to come by.

I'm going to try the matcha next, but the ube with espresso was excellent. Friendly, fairly quick service, cute Eugene vibe shop. If I wanted to hang out at a coffee shop, this would be the place, I love ube, and it's not a common flavor. They do it, and they do an exceptional job with it. Definitely looking forward to trying other drinks in the future. Check them out if you're near the 5th st public market.

There is a coffee cafe that boasts freshly ground and available by the bag. I went in sampled the two offerings. Didnt really like but desperate for pour over coffee, bought a bag. At first when I asked that the bag of beans be ground to do pour over I was looked at rather strangeley. So I said where I bought it before it was a number 6 grind. She nodded I thought she understood. This morning I made my pour over coffee but sad to say the grind was larger then the bag of drip roast my daughter purchases. So no they do not live up to their claims. Do I have more important things to worry about ? Absolutely will I be shipping my next order from Cafeto to Wisconsin ? Absolutely!
