I got a scrapple, egg and cheese sandwich. I went to the corner because I saw they serve their breakfast sandwiches on Brioche rolls. I was surprised to learn that I don't like brioche rolls as much as I thought I did. Good sandwich. Nice young woman waited on me. Sunday morning most places open at 8 am. 8:05 am, empty. 8:15 am, three quarters full.

Renne, the host, was super gracious and hospitable. We stopped by for some quick breakfast in Media. The coffee was bold & rich. The Food was very comfy. Would def return. The interior aspects & ambience of the store were pleasant.

The food and service were good. Tasty, good portions. Although the restaurant itself could use some TLC. For the price of the brunch I wouldn't expect to see so much random water damaged pop tile ceiling. Kinda makes the room looks groady.

7 years after my last review of them, and let me take the opportunity to upgrade them for two reasons. One, the food merits it. My wife raved about the Huevos Rancheros. I raved about the smoked pork omelette which had a real nice smoke to the meat. And my boy loved the chocolate chip pancake. I must say that pancake deserves special mention. It comes off the grill with the perfect balance of crispness and fluffiness. Second, the staff has an attitude, and I mean that in the best way. Genuinely friendly and a little sarcastic. Perfect for Delco.

Good food, good service, cozy corner spot in Media. Ordered the Ribeye Omelette, side of bacon and side of avocado. Wife enjoyed her Huevos Rancheros, both meals were good, in and out, no wait on a Saturday morning.

Really small but cute place. Service was great and quick. I wouldn't exactly rave about the food but it was good. Pumpkin pancakes were really good, I would recommend. Omelet, was average, maybe I just need to get a different one next time. It seems to be a favorite in other reviews. Eggs were perfectly cooked though, I'll give them that.

Such a wonderful place. Feels like your at home, fresh food, funny & friendly environment, they even tolerated our two year old squealing thanks guys. French Toast Huevos Rancheros Lacolumbe

Two giant pancakes, very good and the home fries were delicious, very crispy. The chocolate milk was also pretty good.

Amaze breakfast. I'll just say that if you do not sit at the counter and have the Huevos Rancheros, you are missing out. It was absolutely excellent. More than perfect. A completely unexpected find in "downtown" Media. Corn tortillas, excellent over easy fried eggs, tasty pico de gallo (not too spicy at all!) and some sliced avocados. And the home fries! Crispy deliciousness. All I had to do was a few splodges of Cholula to "kick it up a notch."

I placed my order, got my silverware and table number and sat down to wait for them to bring it out, very efficient way to do things. When my food arrived, an omelet with mushrooms, onions, sweet Italian sausage, and cheddar cheese, my eyes grew wide. Before digging in I popped a stray mushroom that was sitting on top of omelette before taking the photo. Immediately noticed the amount of flavor of the mushroom alone, it prompted me to ask if they were marinated, the chef/owner came out after I was done and said she takes baby bella mushrooms, cuts them up and sautees them in salt pepper garlic, "no cans here' she said and you can tell. Upon digging into the omelette I found it to be loaded with the ingredients I had chosen, even distribution, I mean just look at that cross section! The potatoes were seasoned well and delightfully crispy. Prices were more than fair for the quality. They definitely care, they definitely put out excellent food, and I think they'll definitely succeed, even with being in a tough spot parking wise...I'm local to Norwood but I'll gladly pay the meter every time if it means I get to enjoy more of the Good Vibes Only!

I appreciate having the right size portions so I can enjoy but not need a carry out container. The service consisted of two ladies in the dining room and they seemed to complement each other by overlapping duties, if one was busy the other would step up and help out. I have noticed that at other restaurants, one server will let another drown with duties and never help out, I enjoyed seeing the team work in action today. The restaurant itself is a well designed environment even the Men's Restroom was interesting and well kept. When I am in the area, I would definitely eat here again for the good food, in proper portions and a clean restaurant.

Originally the search was for a place that we had assumed was in…read moreNewtown Square, but was actually in Newtown; much too far to go to for an impromptu breakfast unless we were prepared for a small trip. However, this is the circumstances that led me to Rolling Stars. Not knowing what to expect whatsoever, except that I read that they served bagels, I was blown away by the offerings and the quality of everything they have, and will definitely be coming back to try some other menu items in the near future! Not only do they make almost everything from scratch, homemade here, with the bagels obviously being their signature item, everything is fresh, bold and wonderful. They even have a daily soup that is prepared by hand, that is available all day long, even for breakfast. If you've read any of my other reviews, you know that this is a game changer for me. Their coffee drinks are very good, and while not the best I have had, they are fun, tasty and they will make special additions simply if you've ask. In my case I ordered a simple cappuccino but they added little heart sprinkles for Valentine's Day since it is upcoming, even though the drink doesn't have them. The biggest problem I had was trying to decide what to actually choose from the menu because I was faced with way too many options that I wanted. I ultimately went with "the Bella", a portobello sandwich, which comes on your choice of bread, or any of their bagels, of which I chose the egg everything. Within a few bites I knew that this was easily within the top three bagel sandwiches I had ever had, and I am very critical of bagels and have had a TON of bagels and bagel sandwiches, coming from a kosher deli family. I also had the soup of the day which was a brilliant chicken noodle with awesome large macaroni elbows that just totally kicked it up. In our entire visit we only encountered one thing that was bothersome and it wasn't with my food but with our table's, and this was likely due to expectations. The jalapeño cheddar bagel is simply a plain bagel with a slice of cheddar and diced jalapeños on top. Now it was still outstandingly delicious, but I feel like we were under the impression it would be cooked into the dough and the entirety of the bagel. This wasn't the case and I can't knock them for it because it was still fantastic; aesthetics be damned! You should definitely visit here if you have not been here yet, and I can guarantee you will be coming back again and again. I cannot wait to go back, and I didn't even touch on the crazy awesome bagel chips that come with nearly everything!

You can place an order at the kiosk in front or at the register. It was easier using the kiosk because you didn't have to bother the lone server for options, add-ons etc. I had a birria bowl which was HEARTY. I mean the serving was huge and I was able to eat off it for two days. I thought it would be served with the consume, but I had to pay extra for that a sour cream. We did carry out, so the four stars is for cleanliness of the restaurant, quick service and serving size. I was very shocked that it was seasonless. There was no spice. There was nothing separating each ingredient in the bowl in terms of taste. It was all just one note and the note was Nothing. The consommé was also flavorless, but it did help with the dryness of the birria. I probably wouldn't try this place again if I came back at least not the burrito bowl my homegirl both had tacos and said that they enjoyed those.

I haven't had a chiminichanga in a long time plus it came with frijolitos y arroz so I ordered the carnitas chiminichanga. The taste was there; carnitas were tasty and the queso crema stuff they put on top was on point. Their salsas were a little weak; it would be good to have some spicy tomatillo salsa with anything carnitas. The frijolitos refritos were a little disappointing. There were mashed to a good consistency; too many whole beans. At least they weren't blended in the blender how some places do it. And gracias a dios that they weren't canned beans. NO CANNED BEANS!! the arroz was good. The atmosphere needs a pick-me-up. It was mostly because of the music. One would think a Mexican restaurant would play some sort of Mexican music. This place was playing instrumental versions of '70s classics. Please play some mariachi or cumbias or something Mexicano. I'm from southern California so maybe I shouldn't expect too much about Mexican food from Philly. And yes I hate the snow. If you didn't get my reference to chiminichangas, watch Napoleon Dynamite.
