I stopped by for a quick lunch and was reminded how nice it is to have a reliable comfort food spot right near the Menlo Park Mall area. The atmosphere was welcoming and made for a relaxing break in the middle of the day. The service was pleasant and efficient, which made the experience even better. The food was delicious and truly hit the spot. I especially loved the orange juice -- it was incredibly fresh and so good I couldn't get enough of it.

Avocado Eggrolls

Must try the advocate egg rolls, they are so good as well as the complimentary bread. The entree we order was okay nothing special. Food here is overpriced, this place gets really busy especially since it's in a mall, i recommend reserving a table ahead of time.

Do you even live in the suburbs if you haven't reviewed Cheesecake Factory... Anywho, this particular location has been consistent in delivering Cheesecake Factory levels of goodness. AKA high calories, an extensive encyclopedic menu, and a hefty portion size leaving you with leftovers for days. I typically order to go now, and with the current AMEX Gold offer, I can't refuse spending my monthly $10 on some lunch pasta. It's decent, filling, and lasts me 2 meals. I still like how they give you the free breads on the side which truly seals the Cheesecake Factory deal. As for the cheesecake itself, you can't go wrong with classic strawberry!

Miso Salmon**

If I had to go to one chain restaurant, Cheesecake Factory will be on the top of the list. I love how consistent it is, and I always get a slice of cheesecake for dessert. I am slowly walking through their entire repertoire of cheesecakes. So far, the fruity ones are my favorite. In terms of the main dishes, I love the miso salmon and the ceviche (which is a special, but should definitely be on the regular menu).

Jambalaya pasta.. shrimps were a bit mushy like it was going bad.

Came here on a Wednesday night to celebrate my mother in laws birthday. We were a party of 7, they put us at a booth and added a seat at the end. We had 2 elderly people and is handicapped and not able to get into the booth. When requested a change of table, they agreed and moved us to the standard tables on the opposite end. The place was busy but not fully occupied. Instead of putting two 4 seaters together, they did the same thing as the booth! They gave us a 4 top with a 2 top combined. If the place was packed I'd give them a pass. During course of our entire meal no one else sat besides us all the way to the end, 6 tables just empty. Yes, the elderly and handicapped ones were able to be seated. But the extra chair place in-between a 2 top was not cool. The seat was so close to the table behind, it was uncomfortable. What is wrong with giving us two 4 tops? I didn't get it. The service was pretty slow. The food was your typical meal but overpriced in my opinion. Yes, portions are big but the quality of the food was meh. Since we were celebrating my MIL's birthday we asked what they have as the in-house free be and it was quite disappointing. A scoop of vanilla ice cream not even a regular slice of cheesecake. SMH Will not go back. The lack of common sense, the mediocre food, and extremely overpriced will definitely do it for me. Our server Maureen was good. She constantly came by to check on us. Honestly, the 2 stars are for our nice server otherwise it wouldve been just 1 star. Everything and everyone else was not acceptable on my end.

I have always been a fan of Cheesecake Factory and it had been too long since my last visit. I'm all about their food even though their name denotes dessert. This time I went for brunch and tried their chicken waffles Benedict. It was excellent. Service was good as well so a nice visit overall. You can't go wrong here.

This review is specifically for one aspect of The Cheesecake Factory, the thing that made them famous: The cheesecake! I have never eaten a meal here, but I do stop in frequently to get a few different slices of cheesecake to go. Maybe eventually I will try every variety that they offer. The cheesecake here is the best in the world. Seriously. I have never found any better anywhere else, (homemade, in the city, at fancier restaurants, anywhere!) I'll even stop in and get a piece or two if I'm visiting someone just to bring them as a treat. The cheesecake here is fluffy and light, like a mouse or chiffon, and some of them have a creamy texture like a pudding. The Keylime pie one is my favorite when I want something tangy and citrus. The Oreo one is my favorite when I want something ridiculously over the top sweet. And the dark chocolate one is the definition of decadent and puts me in a good mood like a drug would. If you like cheesecake, take my advice and get it here. If you think you don't like cheesecake, (because the only other ones you tried are wet and dense and taste too much like, well, cheese) I encourage you to try the cheesecake here because it might turn you into a cheesecake fan.

Went in for a casual Friday night dinner. There was no wait which was nice. The menu is beyond extensive so there's something for everyone. Our meal consisted of Brussel sprouts, Cajun shrimp, herb crusted chicken, and Cajun salmon. My husband enjoyed the shrimp app as the sauce was very flavorful. He found the found the shrimp dish more flavorful than the salmon. I had Parmesan crusted chicken which was pretty good. The stars of the meal for me were the brussel sprouts and my vanilla bean cheesecake.

Pros - they take reservations. Cons - our server was miserable. Took 15 minutes just to get a water after ordering it. Even when I asked him again for it, he thought it was more important to take the table's next to us food order, which was complicated, rather than quickly run the drinks over and then take their order. He couldn't even get the simple drink order right - we asked for two diet cokes and a water. Instead we got one Diet Coke and two waters. Food was average at this location - my pasta dish wasn't very flavorful and dry. Barely any peppers or mushrooms in the Louisiana Chicken Pasta. Best thing was the Oreo cheesecake slice I took to go.

Italian Sausage and Fresh Mushroom Rigatoni**

Cheesecake Factory is one of the best fast casual restaurants and stays very true to its mission. There were 4 of us there for lunch. We were seated quickly. Their menu is quite extensive, but also has several redundancies. For example, they list Renee's Specials on both the lunch special page as well as the next page for sandwiches. I guess it's not really a special of the prices are the same all day. I ordered off the lunch special menu and had the Italian Sausage and Fresh Mushroom Rigatoni. The fresh mushrooms must be a flavor in the sauce because there were no mushrooms in the bowl. The Italian sausage was also pretty chopped up and not that much in the bowl either---but at least I know it was there. The presentation was excellent as is for most of their dishes. Their dishes have a very high end culinary appearance. My pasta was topped with what looked like a scoop of Burrata. It was very flavorful and filling. Our waiter was OK. He came by to fill my glass of water only after I was nearly passing out from dehydration. One of the members of our party ordered coffee instead of dessert and the waiter brought out 4 cups of coffee for each of us which we declined. He was nice, but probably had too many tables assigned to him.

Update- January 20, 2025 Went to have Sunday lunch here with Family. I made reservation on line. Maximum number of people is 6, on line. But, when we arrived, we're total of 7 people. My son's girlfriend came. We were told that we need to wait, our on line reservation for 6 has been cancelled, since we're 7 person that showed up. So we waited for another 40 minutes. I ordered, Chicken Madeira and Flat Bed Pizza when everything on it. They're delicious. Serving Staff are friendly and helpful. Well decorated place and lots of parking.

I really enjoyed coming here for happy hour! My husband and I shared a few items from the happy hour menu- roadside sliders, sweet corn tamale cakes, and thai chili shrimp. Everything was good and more than enough food for two people to share. The mojito was part of the happy hour special. It was well made and I really liked it. Our server was very attentive and friendly.

The last few times I've visited have been phenomenal! The service has been 10/10, the food has been 10/10. I love their new rewards program and love cheesecake factory!

The brisket sandwich was solid and came with a generous side of fries. We also ordered the fried calamari, which was delicious light, crispy, and not greasy. Everyone at the table enjoyed it. The food, drinks, and ambiance are consistently excellent, but this review is about something even more meaningful. Earlier this week, I accidentally left my wallet at the restaurant and didn't realize it until the next day. When I returned and inquired, the new manager, Ricky, was incredibly professional and helpful. He verified my identity using a secondary ID (since my driver's license was in the wallet) and promptly returned it. Not only was everything intact--including a significant amount of cash--but he also refused to accept a tip, saying it was simply part of his responsibility to take care of customers. This note of thanks goes not only to Ricky but also to the entire staff for their honesty and integrity. Experiences like this are rare, and it only deepens our appreciation for a place we already loved.

We recently purchased a gift card for True Food Kitchen but when we had problems with it, the local restaurant wasn't able to do anything. We reached out to the company they parner with for the gift cards, who told us to reach out to corporate. I recently tried the chef's 8-course tasting menu, and it was perfectly paced--the small plates are proportionately sized so you leave feeling satisfied rather than overwhelmed. Every dish is a standout with deep, "stacked" flavors; even the ingredients I was skeptical about ended up being favorites. Nothing needed a drop of extra seasoning. The service sets a warm, welcoming tone from the start. We were offered Oshibori (Japanese warm towelettes) to refresh our hands, and getting a fresh set of utensils with every course was a high-end touch I really appreciated. Menu Highlights: Taro Fritter: A sweet-textured appetizer inspired by Chinese desserts, topped with caviar and soy-pickled beets. It was a beautiful way to awaken the palate. Mackerel Crudo: As someone who isn't usually a fan of raw dishes, I was surprised by how much I loved this. It's light, perfectly acidic, and balanced with plum, ponzu, and apple. Grilled Sunchoke: This was "rustic elegance" in a bowl. The smell alone is incredible, and the combination of ginger crab and shellfish butter is pure comfort. Smoked Duck: Topped with black winter truffle and caramelized onions in a gochujang sauce--absolutely excellent cook and presentation. Braised Beef Cheek: So tender you can skip the knife and just use your fork. Since I forgot to BYOB, I tried their house-made Luck & Love hibiscus drink. It's hands-down the best hibiscus tea I've ever had--I actually tried to buy one to-go, but they only make enough for dine-in guests! It's a fantastic spot to bring friends or loved ones, though I'd recommend arriving early. The parking lot is extremely tight, so you might need to look for space in the lot next door.

A few logistical tips: while there is street parking, a public lot is conveniently located right across the street. The dining room is quite intimate with only about ten tables, and since they don't seem to take reservations, I recommend arriving early or being prepared for a wait. If you don't want to wait, they do offer takeout! Another suggestion is to browse their menu online before you arrive, the selection is extensive! We showed up without a game plan and needed several minutes just to decide because there were so many tempting choices! Luckily, our waiter was incredibly patient and helpful, answering every question we had. Once we decided, the real fun began. Every single item, and I'm not exaggerating, was phenomenal! We started with the fresh squeezed orange juice, which was sweet and perfectly portioned, along with a vanilla latte and a cappuccino. Both were classic, rich, and creamy. For the main course, we chose the "Chill + Qill It" Chilaquiles, which featured traditional corn tortillas topped with cotija cheese, avocado, pink sour cream, eggs, and your choice of protein. We also tried the Parkside Classic Sliders; the chicken was exceptionally crispy yet tender and juicy, served with eggs on a brioche bun. We opted to upgrade to the truffle fries, which were delicious! Although our sliders accidentally came with pickles, the staff was so kind and immediately offered to remake the dish or swap out the bun. Finally, we had the Grilled Chicken Egg Ranchero. It was like a breakfast version of nachos, loaded with beans, peppers, onions, an egg, those same crispy tortillas, and more of that signature pink cream! We couldn't leave without satisfying our sweet tooth, so we finished with the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It tasted exactly like a fresh cinnamon roll, the glaze was incredible, and the bread was perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining fluffy inside. I honestly cannot wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the kitchen's creations. This restaurant is a absolute must-visit for their unique combinations and superb flavors!

Would I recommend it? Yes. Is it worth seeing once? Also yes. It has that big, theatrical, old-school deli energy where the portions are part of the show. That said, I'm not in the camp that every good restaurant is automatically a five-star spot. When everything is a five, it gets harder to separate the truly elite places, the hometown heroes, and the restaurants worth planning a trip around. Harold's lands for me as a very solid three-point-something, graciously rounded to four because they have a Marine Corps flag hung in reception. The food was good, the portions were whatever you make it, and the whole place has novelty value without feeling like a total gimmick. The sandwiches are large enough to satisfy a hungry, medium-sized guy without completely defeating him. And honestly, on a menu full of meat, my favorite thing may have been the healthy pickled salad/pickle bar situation -- bright, crunchy, and a great counterbalance to the heavier deli classics. My biggest knock was the service atmosphere. There seemed to be an army of staff, but not much interaction beyond their phones. Maybe I caught it at an off time, and maybe the place comes alive when it's packed, but that kept the experience from feeling warmer or more special.
