I have used Bugman for many years, the service is always dependable and I have had no problems. The last couple of years I had some wood damage that had to be repaired and/or replaced. Art Gonzalez and Nathan Harrison were the employees that did the last round and they were fabulous. Very efficient and fast. They cleaned up every day and work was perfect. I grabbed a little paint and they painted the boards before they put up and they figured out a way to get at the problem areas. Work was fast, employees polite and knowledgeable.....couldn't ask for more. read more

Isaiah Chairez came to fix our termite problem and did a great job! I was worried I would be left with huge holes in the wall and once I saw the end result you could barely see the holes. He arrived on time and was quick. Thank you Bugman and Isaiah! read more

The Bugman experience has been exceptional from the scheduling of a quote, getting the quote, scheduling service, and the actual service. Everyone has been so helpful and friendly especially the service man, Mark G. He did a great job going over the service that was competed and the necessary follow up service that was needed. I definitely will use this company again in the future! read more

The Bugman supervising carpenter Tony Rubalcava and his team members ( Nathan Harrison and Rudy Gallegos) did a fantastic job replacing termite damaged wood at my Newport Beach home. The second story fascia board work was particularly challenging because there were seamless gutters attached . The work was completed with no gutter damage. Tony was very respectful and very diligent keeping me informed about the scheduling and sequencing of their work projects. The work was completed on time on and the work site was totally clean when they left. I highly recommend this Bugman wood repair team read more

It started with the yearly inspection, Ignacio has a lot of experience working in this business and it showed. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. After talking to him and him educating us, we realized it was important to get the wood damage fixed. The People who fixed the damaged wood, Art and Oscar were nothing but hard working professional and willing to go above and beyond to make us happy. The finishing 15- 20 pieces of wood that have been replaced look FANTASTIC! read more

I was recently referred to this company by a friend because of a bee swarm issue. John was amazing and went above and beyond to remedy the problem! I was so impressed by this company that I am moving my annual termite preventative service from a company I have used for 15 years to this company! I enrolled in their quarterly bug remediation service and am updating my previous review. I continue to be top box satisfied with John and his expertise and thoroughness but this time I was completely satisfied with the philosophy of the company. I received their email to schedule my quarterly service and called to select a different date/time and confirm that John was still the tech assigned to my area. Initially, I was told John had been rotated to another area but upon my expressing concern about changing techs, I was assured John would be responding to my service. I was thrilled!! There is nothing I dislike more that finding a tech with a company and having that person rotated away. I was thrilled that Bugman understood the importance of the relationship between their customer and their tech!!! read more

Our guy, JEFF is fantastic! It's all about the technician. We utilize the pest and rodent services. In my opinion, all of these extermination companies offer very similar services with very little differentiation. In my experience, the cheapest isn't always the best option. So the key differentiator is the technician. . . Jeff is the man! He's extremely courteous and professional. He always contacts us ahead of time to give us a heads up and let's us know when he arrives on property. That way we are not startled when we see a person roaming the property. He is extremely meticulous and not a single cobweb is left behind after he leaves. We also like how Jeff is very mindful of pets. There have been times when no one was home or can't answer the door and he won't service the areas that the dog has access to. We really appreciate the sensitivity to the pets. We have never had a problem that warranted a repeat visit. He has also been extremely responsive. We once had a rat run into the garage and immediately snap a Bugman trap. Jeff came out within a couple hours to remove the carcass. He failed to disappoint every time. I really hope Bugman management appreciate the value of "human capital", something that the corporate balance sheet never seems to capture accurately. read more

We've used the Bugman's annual termite service for a few years now, and they've always done an exceptional job. But for our inspection today with Narcisco R, he went above beyond. Very thorough walking me through the findings from his inspection. He also told me in advance where he would need to treat our backyard (our 4 year old likes playing back there) to make sure it was safe. Plus because he had worked on the Bugman's in-house repairs team in the past, he shared some really helpful advice on where we may need extra repairs to prevent termite damage in the future. Last but not least, he found a dead rodent on our property (one of our neighbors have had some issues and set out some poison traps recently), which he helped us pick up and dispose of right away. If I could give six stars, I would! read more

I have been a customer of The Bugman for years for termite control. I needed some wood repair for old damage but put it off for a while since the cost was fairly high. I finally decided to do the repair and go through The Bugman since I knew they were a very reliable company. Boy, was I glad that I did! They sent out several guys in the morning and started the job promptly. Rudy, Art, Daniel and Nathan were wonderful and asked several times if I was satisfied with their work and went through a thorough inspection of their work before they left. I would definitely use them again and complement their work ethic! read more

This company is great to work with. We use them for termite service and recently they replaced a lot of rotted wood and did some additional wood work for us. There carpenters were efficient and professional. They didn't mess around and did an excellent job. Nathan, Daniel and Art thank you for your great craftsmanship and taking pride in your work. We are very pleased with the work you did. read more

This company has not done a good job for me during the last 3 years. I did not have a chance to fire them until today. They had a contract to spray perimeter quarterly and charge additional $75 for each interior unit. The units are newly built. They never did any good spraying outside, so the roaches went inside. Once they are in, this company did not exterminate them well the first time. They charged me again when they come back the second time. Worst of all, their invoices do not indicate which unit they treated. This is not fair at all. They are not ethical. They are fired! New customers beware!!!! read more

I've been using The Bugman for years and have always been pleased with their service. Jack is my regular service guy, and he is friendly and thorough. Having a small pest issue during this whole Covid-19 pandemic and I live in my neighbors garage. I was able to update the small space and make it super cozy minus the pest issue. Mark Goldin was really cool and friendly. He informed me he is 15 years in and really enjoys his job. At first I thought it would be an awkward encounter but it was actually great. His work was fast and informative. Thanks Mark !!!! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Jeff. He is so great. He's super informative and helpful. He educated us on what to do to keep pests at bay in between services and recommended products to really keep our family safe. I have two little ones and I am so paranoid about chemicals coming in contact with them. Jeff is so sensitive to my worries and always relieves any anxiety I may have about spraying. I could really tell that he genuinely wants to help people. He's so polite and is really easy to talk to. He answers questions and patiently helps you understand the entire process. He's very trustworthy and honest. I would recommend this company only because Jeff seriously is the best! read more

Tony and Art were so helpful and quickly dealt with all of the termite damage we had. They got in and out within 6 or 7 hours, which was impressive considering all of the wood they had to replace. They perfectly matched the patterns and primed all of the wood they replaced so that we could easily paint over it. They were super professional and also really friendly. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Scheduled termite inspection with the Bugman and some termite damage was found. Eddie was very professional and informed me of all my options and provided a detailed estimate. The following week, Rafael took care of the spot treatment and three days later Daniel followed with the replacement and repair of the wood. Daniel cleaned up after all of the wood work and was especially attentive to assuring that the man door to the garage could open and close properly after the repair. Bugman has a great team of professionals and I appreciate their good work. read more

The Bugman crew came out to our home in Laguna Niguel to do a bunch of dry rot repair and install a door. The service was first rate from the beginning. Iganacio come out and gave us a thorough estimate. The crew that came out to perform the work, Art G, Oscar P, Daniel M and Tony R did a fantastic job. Luis and Tony just left my house after a 2-day job of replacing wood on outside fences and overhang. The Bugman has come thru again. Their work looks great, cannot even tell what part of fence was fixed and what wasn't, looks so good. They were both professional, dressed professionally, polite, efficient with their time and did a few extra little things, very willingly. They cleaned up after themselves, would never know they were here working, both days. So I thank Luis and Tony for making a possible stressful situation a totally easy peasy nice experience. I am sure many of us have had "construction experiences" turn bad! And thank you Bugman, for hiring and training professionals. read more

Excellent work done by the bugman. Tony came out to my home and I received a free inspection. He was able to give me a quote right then and there for the wood work/fumigation to fix the termite damage. Luis and Nathan did great work on the wood repairs. They even threw away an old door of mine in the backyard and cleaned up really well afterwards. The fumigation guys were also quick and helpful. I would recommend The Bugman to any of my friends or relatives. Thanks again! read more

Bugman has the worse service that I ever seen in any pest control companies. Please do not waste your money. My yard is full of spiders and rats and bugs; when I ask them about the issues they tell me that they will send someone to check on that, but no more follow up! I send them pictures and explain all the issues, but still the technician usually spends 5 minutes and spray outside and by the time I want to talk to him, he is gone!! I have asked them for last 4 months which I see rats everywhere so add more baits, but nothing changed. Their technicians changes all the time, so they don't know how many baits they have to check and what needs to be done with certain customer! Very stupid! I am telling them why my backyard is full of spiders, they said because they have treated ants for whole summer not spiders! So shall I expect spiders for the whole summer! The supervisor suppose to come and talk to me for last 4 months, but never happened. Very disappointed :( read more

We have used the Bugman for our pest control for about 4 years and have been very satisfied. We then tried out their termite services and were not as happy. UNTIL....Art and Daniel came out and saved the day. They were amazing and renewed our faith in the company again. I am in the service business and know things happen. Its really important about how you correct a situation and these two guys did just that. Art is very knowledgeable and talented in his carpentry craft. I had Eddie do a termite inspection and found significant deterioration due to dry rot on two large beams in our balcony. He summoned Luis Barron and Daniel Montes to replace both beams and these two guys did an outstanding job. One of the beams was 300 lbs and they figured out a way to get it to the second floor balcony and mounted it perfectly. Kudos to these two gentlemen and to Eddie who did a very thorough review of our house. I have been using The Bugman for the past five years and I have been very impressed with their work. Andrew is great! He is accessible and willing to go the extra mile. Thank you for all that you do!

Contacted them to tent our house for termites. I had asked if the rain would be a problem and they assured me it wouldn't. They tented the house after a few days of heavy rain and everything in the interior was good. I had just gotten the rooms painted and the carpet put in. The day they took off the tent which was a Saturday they did not even bother to call me to notify me that it was all clear to go in. It was also raining that day and when I went into the house the ceiling in one of the rooms was noticeably starting to caving in. I immediately called and asked for someone to come take a look at it. It was around 3ish and was told the office closes at 4:30 and technicians are out until 5. I got a hold of a technician around 4 and he could not get anyone down to come check my roof for moved tiles when they pulled the tent down. I assured them I wasn't happy with the service and that now they are costing me more money than I originally had planned to spend. They initially were understanding and I told them it would get worse if no one came out because it was to rain all weekend. The tech didn't go until Tuesday morning and did find moved tiles that he ended up moving back after the damage was done but concluded that it was not their fault and were not willing to work with me to compensate me for the new damages I now had. I still believe they unintentionally caused these damages but I am furious that they were not willing to even try to make it better when it was a fact that my ceiling wasn't caving in prior to the tenting and was after the tenting. I would not recommend their service and would not contact them again for any service. read more

I have used other pest control companies for years now. The Bug Man is the best so far. In particular my service technician Jeff and Mary in customer service. I've been a Bugman customer for the last couple of years. Recently, I finally got down to repairing some termite wood damage and dry rot around the perimeter of my house. Eddie, our Bugman trusted supervisor, assigned carpenter Tony Rubalcava to the project. Eddie had explained to me that Tony was a great carpenter. TONY WAS FANTASTIC! His work was high quality and meticulous in every way, not to mention his professional and courteous manner. In my experience as a homeowner, I've seen MANY people work on my house, and by now I can tell the good from the bad: Tony is not just from the good group, his is from the BEST. This is a hard one.....our service has been good enough & really like our service man, Don. However...their billing department is a nightmare. We have had issues for years. Husband is very diligent and precise paying our bills. He not only uses his checkbook to record payments, he has a ledger. The latest call relates to a payment they say was missed over a year ago. Who lets a missed payment go for over a year? We provided check #'s , etc. just don't want to deal with this anymore. read more
