We called Chemfree to assess our termite situation. They were prompt and courteous, pointed out the damaged areas, and provided a quote for repairs as well as the fumigation. Please consider the pertinent facts. I have a very reasonable and logical mindset. I assured Dan that I would send him photos from an unbiased and licensed contractor to display any broken tiles when he refused to have the roof inspected. He asked for a video on the roof when I mentioned photos. I sent Dan with the attached below photos and he did not answer for more than 10 days. Luckily, we did not have any rain, except for a drizzle, as Dan agreed and pointed out to me. The company you reviewed expressed interest in working with me, but they cancelled due to the small nature of our project. However, everything turned out perfectly thereafter. They helped me before the rain since Chemfree was silent. They were accountable and wonderful. I gave them a great review. We had an excellent cordial business relationship. Not sure why you brought it up. Dan immediately asked me to write a good review at completion time. I was uncertain. I clearly stated that the sealed areas are not your responsibility but the chipped and broken tiles Yes in the Email that I forwarded to Dan from the licensing roofing contractor 's language with their substantiated photos. I asked Dan to look at the roof with broken tiles and he never answered. I had to hire the roofing company that returned to us to help before the rain. I shared with Dan and he finally told me to wait for his company to call. The subcontractor called when work was completed. I never asked for the full price but expected a reimbursement for the broken, chipped tiles, and tiles slidding out of place during fumigation. Your company did not answer until they were all fixed. I suggest that the subcontractor perform a thorough inspection of the roof for broken and chipped tiles. I have been consistent in stating to both your subcontractor and your company that I am willing to pay for any extra expenses based on your statement that you will bill for the tiles materials. Your company never warned me of any potential roof cracks. Your subcontractor called me late. I informed your subcontractor that your company did not reach out to me about fixing the tiles after receiving the photos and did not offer to do so at the right time. Your company didn't reply to my email until another company had fixed all the tiles before the rain. I made it clear to your subcontractor that I was waiting for communication from your office. I didn't make a threat, but rather expressed my disappointment with your company and my intention to share my experience with the Yelp community. No emails, texts, or phone calls were made by your company to resolve the matter until now. Attached are photos of broken and chipped tiles during fumigation. All was done by the wonderful roofing company at the right time and at a reasonable charge, which I fully paid because I could not wait longer for your company to take action due to the forecast of rain, which actually did happen. I had called the business at like 2 am just to keep the number in my phone to call the next day. I was surprised to receive a call the next day saying we missed your call, how can we help? Dan came and evaluated my house. I knew this man was legit as he told me some boards needed replacing and if I had a carpenter in the family it would be an easy fix. But I asked for a bid and glad I did. They came out the next day, replaced all the boards and repainted. Cannot even see the patched areas! I used ChemFree again for the new home I bought. This time I have to give it a four-star rating. I had been worried for three days due to the overcast and had to take an extra day off from work to wait for them. The issue was the replacement of broken tiles. The tent was scheduled to be removed from 9-11AM. I bought the tiles and brought them at 8AM. While I was driving, I saw a text from Jose that they already removed the tent at 7:30AM and left. Jose advised me to call Matt to reschedule the time to replace broken tiles. The answer from Matt was "let see what he can do on Thursday's afternoon." He did not call me back to confirm it. I had to call Bryce and he said Matt scheduled it on Thursday's afternoon. On Thursday, I had to call to confirm with Jose that he will send the guy to replace the tiles. Chemfree did a great job for fumigation our house! We have swarming termites this October inside our home, so I decided to tent my house to kill all possible termites. I contacted and compared multiple companies, and Chemfree is the best I can find. They are experts in fumigation, they do not sub contract their work, they have their own workers and tents, their price is competitive, and they committed to replace the tiles if breaks(if you have spare tiles onsite). This is the first time we use fumigation, we heard lots of bad news about it. Fumigation may break my tiles, and may kill my plants. With Chemfree, we do not have these problems. They only broke 3 tiles, which is far beyond my expectation! I bought 50 tiles as backup and now I can return most of them. My plants also keep alive after fumigation.
