Worst pest control company you can use. Brian Craig quoted me a price for the work proposed. After the work was completed he charged me double! on top of this they removed my side gate to complete the work only to replace my gate with cheap hardware and pin nails. the gate literally fell apart 2 weeks later and I had to come out of pocket to replace it. I called the company complain and they offered no remedy for the situation. extremely poor customer service if I could leave less than 1 star I would. read more

We hired Seashore as we wanted to support a smaller family run business first off. They arrived and sprayed inside and out for some roaches that may have snuck in with new cardboard boxes or paper bags while my mom was away for a few weeks. We tossed all the (expired) food out of the pantry a few months before. That night as well as next few days we found belly up bugs and haven't seen any more out in the foliage. They did the job! They were thorough in inspecting my HOA property which is difficult to tent and offered a suitable alternative. They were more thorough and found more affected areas than 2 other companies that inspected the property. My only complaint is that they are only good at exterior wood repair. I was led to believe that they were experts in interior wood repair as well. My interior window sill was destroyed by termites and the they told me they could fix it. It is becoming rarer and rarer these days to come across companies like Seashore Pest Control, and the owner, John. I live in Los Angeles, my father in Law lives in Costa Mesa. My in laws were out of country for a few weeks, when one of their neighbors contacted me with some pictures of what looked like a rodent problem. My wife and I were less than 24 hours away from leaving the country ourselves, and couldn't make the trip down. No big deal, I thought, I'll call a exterminator/pest control company. I started making calls. And then more calls. Then more calls. It was a Saturday afternoon, and all of my calls were going to voicemails, saying to call back on Monday. Almost at the on set of panic, I came across Seashore Pest Control. John told me he was up in HB, but after listening to me and my situation, he told me he would swing by at the end of the day (it was already close to 6p on a Saturday!!!). Well sure enough, John stopped by the house, inspected the areas of our concern, and REPAIRED a crawl space cover (we were expecting a band aid job just to hold us off until we all came back in to town, but nope, John went over and above to get this fixed). John called me with an update, no rodents, and just minor damage to the cheap crawl space cover/vent. John insisted there was no charge for this (this was AT LEAST a 30 minute drive one way!). Not only did he go completely out of his way, even after he should have been off the clock, he insisted on not charging me. Called them for quotes. Monthly, bimonthly, quarterly prices about the same as competitors. Wanted a local company. Guy came out as scheduled the next day. Appreciate that he wore shoe covers when he came in the house. We're a no shoes in house home and it's such a hassle to vacuum and mop after hired hands, delivery guys, etc... come into the house. Ants and other bugs are mostly gone and he said he'd come back in a couple weeks if the initial spraying didn't do it's thing. Left a chemical list so we know what was used inside and out. read more

In addition to the quality work Seashore has done on our home over the years, we recently hired them to repair a water damaged balcony on an investment property. It was a difficult job on a third floor condo. The water damage was so sever, they had to replace the entire balcony. The job came out excellent. They did $2800 worth of damage to my roof and refused to help cover some of the cost of the damage because I signed a waiver.

I rarely write review but this time I must. We hired Seashore Pest Control to repair some termite damaged on our home and fumigation. Everything started out good until the day of fumigation. They did not arrived until after 6 PM, remember this is December, pitch black at 4:30 PM. They totally destroyed our roof. Yes we did sign a waiver that roof might get damaged but that does not mean they can destroy our roof. Most of the old composite tiles were damaged and even the new addition area with the new cement tiles were also damaged. These new cement tiles are thick and strong and yet they were broken as well. This, I called reckless and careless. If they have tented in the day time, it would have eliminated or reduced roof damage. I will never use them again; save your money and go with someone else. read more

In my previous review it states that we had gotten work done with them for termite damage, well for some of the termite damage they had to remove some tiles on our roof to get to it . We recently had to get our roof repaired since we had a small leak, when the roofer removed the tiles he was able to trace the leak and saw it had come from the repair job that was done where they worked on the termite damage. It was honestly just problem after problem with this company, first it was the workers they sent out, they didn't even complete the job that had needed to be done so then had to be called out a second time(when they arrived it was clear they were not happy they had to be back) then it was finding the dumped nails in our ivy bush and NOW it's finding out that they did a horrible repair job on the roof causing moisture to leak through! Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. read more

We had used Seashore about a year ago and they had some internal communication issues,,, there was a problem with us getting a quote in a timely manner and scheduling. Even though we were on the fence we decided to use them for our service. More issues ensued with a lot of one person blaming another and just general lack of customer service, not a pleasant experience. Recently we had seen some odd dead bug casings around the exterior of our house. We called them back out as we are still under the one year warranty. After giving the office some information about our needs my wife specified on the call that we wanted, "a general inspection as we've had rodents in the past." An employee came out today, he looked at the bug casings and stated, "that's not termites", when asked what it is he stated, "it's not termites." He had no equipment to do a general termite inspection, wouldn't go in the attic to even look for termites, and "wasn't the guy" that does rodent inspections. He put someone from the office on a speaker phone, I stated we wanted a general inspection, she said, "we don't do rodents,,, there's another guy that does that." I said goodbye, walked in the house and closed the door. It's hard for me to understand how this company gets so many positive Yelp reviews with their lack of communication and very poor customer service. John was really knowledgeable and personable. But what jumped off the page: Dude really loves his job. Like, a true passion for bugs and pest control. He went through our house searching for bugs like some bizarre mix of a kid in a candy store and Bruce Willis in Die Hard 1, except instead with bugs instead of terrorists. It was awesome. Stay away from this company! I like to work with smaller local companies and usually have good luck with this philosophy. This is the exception. Our home was filled with termites so they first replaced all wood around our home. So far so good Then they subcontracted to a tenting company to treat the termites. The subcontractors left our security gates unlocked , never notified the Huntington Beach police{police dept says they should have} The owner was arrogant and un interested in our dilemna. Our home was ransacked and burglarized. Even the window was left unlocked. When speaking to the police, they told us it's quite common for a home that is tented to be burglarized. We were never told this! Owner says snidely, Look at the contract. Well, I looked in contact and there It is in smallest print I ever saw that they were not responsible for any loss due to theft! Watch out for this company. Very nice and polite while selling but arrogant and cold after burglary I hold them responsible because our security gates were left open! read more
