I had done an estimate request through Yelp for this company. We scheduled a day/window of time for the very next day. The day of I had contacted them close to the end of the window just to confirm they would be coming to our property to inspect. They messaged back & said they were stuck in traffic but would be there shortly. Two gentlemen in a Tesla showed up and spent a few minutes on the property & quoted me verbally before leaving. I felt like the time on our property seemed short & I waited a few weeks & checked my inbox as well as spam folders for the quote. I never received the quote & also contacted to reconfirm. Needless to say, months later I went with a company that both gave me a physical copy of their quote as well as a detailed email. And scheduling to have them return to check traps was grueling (no one seemed to have the information or didn't return calls - I used 4 different phone numbers)! Internal miscommunication, some appointment scheduling issues, and delay in one of the follow-up items is the reason for a 4-star instead of a 5-star review. Mike, the owner is great and accommodated us very quickly since we had a plumbing issue that could not be fixed until we started this process. He thoroughly explained the service and the price point was very reasonable. They also were able to start right away. While overall the service technicians are good, Jerry is by far the best! Jerry provided thorough service while explaining and showing us both what he was doing and the reasoning behind it. EDIT: In the interest of clarity, I am editing my review and adding some pictures. Termike did not reach out to me until I posted a review, over a month after their service. Today, after I posted my original review, they called me from a number that is not associated with their business online and is marked as spam, so I didn't pick up the first time. I did pick up the second time. I asked them to respond to my emails instead of calling so there would be a written record. They claimed they never received any emails from me, until I sent them screenshots of the emails I previously sent. All screenshots of emails and calls are included below. Regarding the service: When Termike previously worked on our home, they did excellent rodent proofing and were very thorough and tidy. This most recent visit was the opposite. The new technician spray-foamed into our mesh crawlspace vent rather than patching with hardware cloth (as Termike had done in the past). The undersink work was sloppy and left gaps and sharp edges. The tech damaged our plumbing and left us with a leak. We ultimately hired folks to fix the plumbing and to redo everything, at additional cost. During the visit, the technician repeatedly argued with me about the work and insisted I was mistaken about Termike's previous methods. When I continued asking questions, he became increasingly dismissive. This arose because I asked why he would spray foam a hole in a mesh vent rather than patch it with mesh, like they did before. My husband had to ask him to leave because the discussion was going nowhere and his work was not satisfactory, not to mention the broken plumbing. Termike has repeatedly invoiced me for $400 while not responding to any of my emails until after I posted this review. The company's response here claims I used "derogatory language" and "threatened negative reviews," which is not true. I have provided screenshots of all communication and there is no such threat or language in any of them. I posted this review only after being ignored for a month. I post negative reviews about companies when it is appropriate. I also post positive reviews. I try to be honest and accurate. It is disappointing that a company we previously had a good experience with handled this situation in this way. read more

We discovered a swarm of termites under one of our windows outside and panicked! After doing some investigation around the house, we saw some damage in a few different spots. We brought out about 4 companies for quotes, each giving different advice. 2 wanted to tent the house--an easy $3k at least, and that's on the low end. One was the orange oil guys, which after doing a lot of research, I just didn't think would be effective enough. Then Mike himself comes by. I should give some context--we had a Saturday morning appointment to get a quote. There was some confusion, but Mike himself came by, off from a staycation no less with his family, and gave us some peace of mind. He said that it was a very localized issue and that tenting was overkill. He would not only treat locally, but he would repair all the wood damage for an INCREDIBLY reasonable price. I mean he blew the competition out of the water. Now you may think, oh well you paid less, you got a lesser service. ABSOLUTELY NOT. His team came in and treated the areas, and then got to work rebuilding and repairing. They did such an excellent job you wouldn't be able to tell there was any termite damage at all. Then they went above and beyond and fixed an area where water was pooling creating wood rot which was attracting termites so it wouldn't happen again! Of course, all of this work is warrantied as well. FInally, I had a freakout a few weeks later. I got a swarm of what I thought were termites in my front yard (they had wings and were huge). I texted a picture to Mike in a panic. He reassured that they were just a species of ants and calmed my freakout lol. Don't bother shopping around, this is your guy. He is honest, helpful, skilled, and offers pricing that simply can't be beat. This is the type of business we need to keep thriving! read more

Used Termike for an inspection, extermination of subterranean termites, and some restoration work. The termite work was all good-- polite, professional, efficient. The restoration work lacked attention to detail, and required much more management on my part than I think reasonable. Seems like the crew didn't have a written order for what to fix, and rushed the work they did accomplish. (Mis-measured boards that they fixed with chalking, for example). I'd use them again for extermination again, but wouldn't hire them for restoration work. read more

I had a small termite issue in my garage and a moderate amount of dry rot on fascia boards and a couple of large beams. Mike came-out and did a thorough inspection. He explained everything in detail. Of course we had so much rain this season that we had to postpone the treatment a couple of times. But once we had a nice sunny day, Ezekiel arrived and the termites in the garage were exterminated and the rest of the garage was treated with a borax treatment to help prevent future termites. Max, their woodwork person, is a perfectionist. He dug out the bad wood and applied an epoxy mix to make the wood fascia boards look almost like new. He carefully patched and made flashing covers for the two large beams to prevent further dry rot and divert rain water from the damaged beams. He finished the job with matching paint. It all looks great now! Everyone at Termike's was very professional. They are locally owned and operated which I try to look for. I am happy with the final results. read more

The eponymous owner (yes, Mike) did the original estimate -- which was reasonable for the infestation observed-- and was part of the work crew that treated and replaced affected timbers. Just shy of 2 years later, we sold our condo and the buyers had another firm inspect the property. They found termite damage (it wasn't clear to me whether this was new or from the prior infestation), and recommended retreating. Mike came out right away and totally honored his 2-year warranty. We agreed to pay a portion of the cost that Mike attributed to sites not treated previously... still a very reasonable charge considering all the work they did. read more

I am glad I decided to go with Termike Pest Control - my house had to be fumigated - a big job indeed! Mike came over to help bag all that needed bagging in the kitchen and the bedrooms the day before the house was tented. After the tent came down, Mike and his crew went under the house, around the house digging deep in the soil to get rid of subterranean termites. I booked an appointment well in advanced. No show without a notice of being late or completely not making it the appointment. I called to see what happened. The phone operator stated that the tech is another city and left it as that without any resolution. They did not mention if they were planning to come at later time or anything about rescheduling. Then they tried to flip the story that I did not confirm the appointment the day before. I checked my phone history and there were no missed call, voicemail, or text. This is where I would say don't bother contacting them but please do call to see for yourself of how unorganized they are.
