I contacted Brett at The Bug Bouncer to inspect and spray my home when I recently noticed bunch of little ants all over my kitchen and living room area. I don't have much knowledge regarding pests and ants, but at the beginning I thought these little ants were house ants. I discussed current situation with Brett via text and he was immediately able to book an appointment within the same week to treat my home. All of Brett's efforts to provide the best customer service and price was undeniable. He is very kind person, straight forward, customer focused, and a good family man from what i believe. Unfortunately the little insects that were in my house were swarmers and the spray did not effectively get rid of them. I had to contact Brett back and forth for few days until he gave me some gel bait to allocate them where these swarmers were crawling by in my house. I also had to purchase additional gel bait on Amazon to place them more over the areas that needed to be covered. It wasn't expensive but I just wasn't satisfied as a customer. It wasn't Brett's fault, and I wasn't even able to meet him in person due to my schedule, but he was kind enough to treat my home and lock my doors when I wasn't available. Because I was unsatisfied, I texted Brett to let him know that I was little frustrated. He did his best and at the end, Brett wanted to process full refund because I wasn't satisfied. He went ahead and refunded back via Venmo, and I was little surprised. Normally, When customers are not satisfied, either Owners do not refund the money and provide another service or they would issue a credit for future use. I was really surprised to see Brett providing a customer service that was beyond expectations, and I told Brett that I was going to keep his info to contact him for future services. It's really hard to find small business owners who are like Brett, that cares about customer's satisfaction. I did not ask or want the refund, but he went ahead and told me he was sorry that expectations weren't met. I obviously did not want to take any advantage of this situation, and i can definitely pay for his services anytime. I'm keeping Brett's info on Yelp and will contact him for future pest control needs, because he is one of a kind small business owner that I haven't met in years. I feel like since he refunded the whole service fee, I will have to ask for his services again and again and again! I value a person's integrity and intentions over services... Thank you Brett for being transparent and doing your part to satisfy a customer. I will contact you near future, for sure. And next time, I'm gonna make sure i meet you in person and have a clear communication so we don't have any miscommunications or confusions on both sides. Our springer spaniel went crazy one night last week in the patio. Behavior is typically due to smelling a mouse. I could not locate the mouse, moving everything away from the wall. Dog kept barking. So I opened the old electrical panel. Sure enough mouse had made a bed inside. I was scared and nervous we had mice in the walls. So I called Brett at 4:30pm. He was here after two jobs at 6:30. When he opened the electrical box, the mouse ran out. Brett vacuumed out all the debris. We found the box was enclosed, no access to the interior walls. We found a small gap under the box. Brett closed the gap with spray foam. Then this week he dropped off professional style bait boxes to place around perimeter. Price was reasonable. We had a great experience with Brett! We had a bad flea problem and needed to get it taken care of quickly because we have a baby. He made time for us the same day that we called. Brett was very informative about follow up that we could do to get rid of any flea eggs that might have been laid and was willing to try to find the source of the problem. He fit us in promptly two weeks later for the second round of treatment and we haven't seen a flea since! Highly recommend! Update: We also noticed recently that we had several wasps nests around the outside of the house. Not being big fans of bees, neither of us wanted to take care of it ourselves. The best! We found a few gnarly spiders inside of the house at the beginning of summer and I immediately went on Yelp to find someone to help us. I've had other services at different houses but with mixed results. Different story with The Bug Bouncer! Brett was super responsive and helpful about what kind of spider they were and was able to quickly book our appointment. After our initial service, we signed up (no obligation, no contract, no prepayment, etc) for monthly service. For the time being we're only doing the exterior service but it's doing everything that I wanted. Before we started with the Bug Bouncer, I would find about 10 spiders (different kinds) inside of the house and even more during the summer. Now I'm finding ZERO! I heard a scratching noise inside my dryer exhaust tube and wasn't sure who to call for help. My first thought was an appliance repair company, but no one I contacted was willing to come take a look. I was very fortunate to call Brett at The Bug Bouncer as he was willing to come over right away and investigate. Some creative detective work led to the discovery of a baby squirrel that had crawled in through the exhaust vent and gotten stuck. He came right away and took care of our moth problems in addition to the ants. Brett is awesome! I previously had Western Exterminator out to spray my house 3 times for a really gross cockroach problem (in addition to their bi-monthly spraying). The problem got worse after the first spraying (by Western Ext.) because roaches spread out from the kitchen to the rest of the house. The 2nd and 3rd time didn't seem to make any difference. I saw Brett across the street spraying my neighbor's house, so I flagged him down, told him how grossed out I was with our roach problem. Brett explained with detail the steps needed to rid ourselves of these roaches permanently. He had us clear out some cabinets so he could do a thorough spraying, and that was that. He came and sprayed once, and the roaches were gone. He also gave us some roach traps for any stragglers. He is super nice and very sensitive to the issues I was dealing with (my fear of spiders, bugs, having 2 dogs, etc.), and all-in-all, just a great guy and a GREAT BUG BOUNCER. read more
