Long time customer. Glenn, Elliott and Barbara Colby family have been providing us amazing service for years. They are kind and care about your well being. They only recommend needed services and do not try to instill fear to upsell. We recently bought a home that had pets and we noticed flea presence. Yuck! Barbara empathized with us and scheduled a spray as soon as possible. Elliott showed up on time and performed the needed service. As I was a bit frazzled about moving my family into a safe home, Elliott empathized with us by telling me his home buying experience which put me a bit at ease. Lastly, due to rain in the forecast, he scheduled a re-spray for a couple of days later at no additional cost. This type of interaction creates trust and confidence for the customer. Amazing family business and highly recommend. read more

This review is overdue. Last summer we had an issue with ants. Elliot came three times until the issue was resolved. Was very impressed by his dedication to his craft. A great family owned business read more

EVERYTHING went well. Someone was here two hours after my initial phone call! Elliot came on this call and has about 15 years experience and he was relaxed and was easy to talk to. I was not relaxed because I had found evidence of a rat. Not only did he answer my questions and set traps he gave me more information and to say that I was impressed with him and his company is an understatement. He came back 6 days later to check traps. If I came across a trap that had trapped something, they have a same-day service six days a week to come and remove it. This is a family owned business and I prefer hiring this kind of business because they have more of an interest in satisfying their customers. There's more to be done that I have arranged for them to do and so far I am happy and pleased with the service I've received from this company. There are a few very small jobs and some big jobs associated with closing access to pests around my home and they are able to do everything I will need including climbing on my roof to seal small holes that could provide access to my home. As of today, I am waiting to be notified for a start date for this work to begin. read more

Great service, they were fast knowledgeable and honest and had a great price. I met with Elliot, really nice guy and the person that scheduled me was so nice and awesome. They took care of my problem right away. Will definitely recommend. We had issues with rats, mice, spiders and there all gone. Thanks Colby Pest Control , Chris H read more

After discovering rats in my garage, I got two quotes on exterminating and rat proofing my home. Colby was a fraction of the price compared to the other company and did a phenomenal job. Very nice and genuine people who made sure they did a quality job. They set traps, rat proofed and sanitized the garage where the rats had left a total mess. I highly recommend! read more

The roaches must die! Friendly service and fairly priced. He took the time to explain the treatment before he did it. He was knowledgeable and friendly. I'm hopeful I don't have to ever call him out again but if the nasty critters return, I'd definitely call this company. I appreciated that he didn't try to sell additional services or put me on a maintenance plan because I wasn't ready to commit to that just yet. read more

I did my research looking for the company providing the most value, and Colby Pest adapted to my needs. They are familiy owned; Glen and his team are knowledgable and have pride in their work. They take time to survey the property and address problems with the right treatment. I appreciate the attention to detail and professionalism. read more

I rarely write reviews, but this is necessary. This man, Colby, is charging $195 quarterly. As someone who has been in the pest control industry for a while and is now living in the same neighborhood as Colby, I am shocked. The neighbors all use him because he knocked on their door and wanted to support a small business. Colby is fully taking advantage of people. No pest control service is $195 a quarter, especially when it's just a basic spray and Dewebbing. (No rat/mice protection or mosquitos ). Myself as many other neighbors caught on quick and are now being taken care of by other companies. Save your money and find a professional. read more

Hired this company for 3 months due to mosquito issue. Was promised he can take care of it 100% and he was so confident. Didnt work at all. Asked to come over during our svc period because the problem was getting worse but never showed up except the days he collects the monthly payment. Wonder how he has this much of good reviews. We stopped hiring him today. read more

We used Colby Pest Control for an ant spray, rodent trapping and rodent exclusion. Elliot did the job. He was personable, professional, and thorough. He explained everything he was doing and spent literally hours at our home, over a couple of days, working to block out any possible rodent entrances. We would highly recommend Colby Pest Control to anyone who needs Pest Control service. Everyone from the first person we contacted, to the owner, to Elliot, and Jesse has been friendly and helpful. Just an awesome company! Update: Today we had Jesse out to do a callback because we were seeing some roque ants. He was just as friendly, thorough and professional as Elliot. Great company!!! read more

I've always been cautious of pest control because you never know if they have enough experience to know where to spray for maximum effectiveness. I chose Colby Pest Control because 1) they've been in business for a long time 2) The owner, Glenn Colby came highly recommended from a local Fullerton friend and 3) I needed a pest control problem resolved quickly without any hassles. I felt immediately comfortable talking with the owner (Glenn) as he looked around the building and explained to me where he would spray and why there was an issue. It was great to talk to a professional who truly understands pest control and is able to do it wonderfully. He scheduled a time that he could come and do the treatment ( by the way, the best part was that he came early in the morning BEFORE the start of my day so that it wouldn't interrupt business.) It was easy, painless, and a totally fair price. My problem was a little bigger than expected so he came back again a day later to keep the bugs away. A+ experience with Colby Pest Control. Great service and communication, things that I value most when needing repairs on my home. Elliott did a great job rat proofing my attic and I really appreciated the great attitude and work ethic. Thanks for a job well done and tolerating the continual barking from my dogs! read more

This company is just so amazing they are always responsive and in critter emergency's they come even if it's last min. They are the most thorough pest control service I have ever used. read more

Hired him to help with a rodent problem that we had. I WILL NEVER USE HIM AGAIN. HE VIOLATED OUR TRUST BY ALLOWING HIM INTO OUR HOME AND TURNED ON US!!! He totally threw us under the bus by telling our landlord that the infestation was our fault!!! We have a huge avocado tree that attracts these rodents. Glen came to our house and seemed pleasant and knowledgeable. After he helped us, he totally screwed up over. Will never trust him again. His half assed job cost us over 700.00 and after we paid him, he tried to collect from our landlord!!! How do I know?? Our landlord called me!!! Update/ You are so full of crap, not only did you discuss with our landlord that the rodent problem was our fault, YOU EVEN PUT IT IN A LETTER THAT THE LANDLORD SHOWED US. As far as a misunderstanding about double billing-nice try. If we hadn't verified it with our landlord you would have kept quiet. WATCH OUT PEOPLE-Don't let him fool you with his charm. By the way Mr. Colby- I have no intention of every hiring you again. Go take advantage of someone else. Check your billing people. read more

Super helpful, Elliot came by on the day of, which is very difficult with other pest control companies. Detailed explanation and flexible which is important for people like me who are rarely home due to work. Really recommend for anyone! read more

My parents have NEVER used a pest control service, but my siblings and I have become weary of the bugs especially outside in the summer!!! Colby Pest Control was a worthy choice and great experience. Elliott was very focused on evaluating the property, even asking us questions so that he can narrow down his plan of attack. I personally appreciated his concern for my animals, making sure to protect my birds and removing my dog's feeding area from any contamination. I was shocked to see how many dead bugs my patio and pool area had for weeks! We are so relieved !! Thank you! read more

After a disastrous fire destroyed the owner's house and equipment in garage, he had to pause his project for us - re-screening our crawl space vents and replacing/painting the metal work around them. He came back last week and finished the job, having waited for payment since July. Always kind and careful to get the job done right. read more

These guys are great. When Jesse came to my house he went above and beyond all expectations. We had a ton of spider webs, eggs and spiders around the property and when Jesse left there were none to be found. I would absolutely recommend Colby Pest Control to anyone who is in need of pest control. Excelsior! read more

We had a rat problem that we tried to fix ourselves and it just didn't work. We have had the Colby pest control to our house for 2 months or so and have caught so many rats with their traps and bait, they even patched up all the holes we have outside our house. Would totally recommend this company! read more

Colby has been our "go to" for control of ants and spiders. Family owned. Very very trustworthy. Uses a neat app to keep you up to date on your appointment. Usually on time and if not, they let you know. Fully explains what to look for on where the spiders are laying eggs etc. Uses pet safe chemicals so no worries. One or two visits a year keeps us bug free. read more

Great Service and Both Glen and Elliot were great as well as Jesse . Super friendly and my 96 year old WW2 Veteran, Grandpa, loved that they took the time to Thank Him for his service. I was impressed that they both shook his hand and gave him a genuine handshake!!! As far as the bug service they did a though job and went above and beyond my expectation. I would definitely recommend this local company and we will continue to use them. read more

Glenn Colby, owner, came out to our house about three days ago. Glenn is beyond knowledgeable about pest control, and the specific house pests. He gave me a true education, then proceeded to do the BEST job of spraying outdoors that has ever been done here. Previous companies were 15 minutes and done. Glenn took the better part of an hour. He used truck mounted equipment, not portable equipment!! We will not use any other pest control company going forward....... read more

Highly recommend. Knowledgeable, responsive, fast, helpful. Thanks Elliot for your hard work in our home.

I had colby and son come to my house to initiate service. I don't think there are two people that are more qualified and more dedicated to the control and extermination of insects and vermin. Well done gents! Certainly an educational experience. read more

Glenn came to our home and preformed an excellent service today. He was very informative and took care of all of our needs. We were so satisfied, that we enrolled in a regular service to be done every 2 months. Thank you Glenn for a job well done. read more

This is simply to confirm the other 5+ star reviews. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, responsive, and kind (to humans and pets). Need I say more? Thanks Glen and Barbara for the excellent service! read more

Glenn was a super nice guy. Showed up on time and walked through everything with us. Also gave great general advice for spiders and roaches around our property along with spraying. Text notifications and email appointment reminder were great to keep us informed. Thanks! read more

Glenn Colby is awesome! I used his services a few months ago after finding him on yelp. Ants were hosting a full frontal attack on our house, and while we, our ant traps, and our vacuum were winning some small battles, we were losing the war. We also had a few widows in our backyard, which normally we wouldn't be terribly concerned with, but with a new, curious puppy, we thought it best to get rid of them. In looking for a pest service, we were concerned about the safety of the chemicals and the health of our puppy. I was happy to see that Colby is green shield certified and that they weren't in the practice of just spraying willy-nilly. Glenn was incredible. I have never met a person so passionate about their job. He is a self described bug man, and loved telling me about his past experiences with ants, bedbugs, and spiders. His stories were very entertaining and most importantly, I learned so much about the Argentine ants, their behaviors, how they move, what they look for, etc. He is a wealth of information. He place maybe 2 traps in strategic locations and the ants were gone within days. When I told him about our backyard widows, he knew exactly where to look for them. In fact, he found one in our sliding door frame, and just picked it up with his fingers. Glenn taught me about the difference between brown widows and black widows, showed me what their webs look like, and showed me where to look for them. He did a thorough web sweep in our backyard as well. It's been 3 months and we haven't seen any widows or ants since. Glenn will be the first person I call if they ever return. read more

OMG! Glenn the owner was just at my home and he's amazing. Super friendly and so knowledgeable! He knows his stuff! He had great tips and his price was totally reasonable. I love supporting local family business and I'd call Glenn and his team back anytime!! If you're looking for an honest company to take of your pest problems, please call them! read more

I have been using them for years, in the home I grew up in and in the house i have been renting most recently. My first house was by a trail that had rats that would run along it and therefor come into our house and back yard which they were able to secure the house so that they were unable to come in. At the current home we are by the riverbed which has a similar problem but Glen and Elliott once again were on top of it finding the entry points and shutting them off as well as "eliminating" the outside ones and their run paths. This is a true family business and they treat you better than any other company I have used. Would STRONGLY recommend, and have already, to anyone who needs pest control. read more

Well- I have used Colby Pest Control and known Glenn and Elliot for about 20 years! They are great and their service is excellent.

I found this company online and, based on the reviews, called to schedule an appointment to remove some roaches. The woman on the phone took my information and said she would forward it to the owner. It has been 3 days and no response/phone call/email. Not a good way to run a business. read more

Colby Pest Control has become my go to service for quarterly treatments to our house to keep the critters away. We first requested their service when we bought our home and they are the only pest control company we've entertained since. Glen Colby is extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. They use products that are safe which is very important for us since we have two dogs, and our nieces come over all the time as well. It's also a plus that they love dogs too! Thank you for being so excellent!!!!!! read more

This place is amazing. Colby is my favorite and he does a great job. I recommend this company!!

Glenn was early to our appointment and was very informative about the types of pests we have, and what we can do to better control them ourselves. We ended up finding another wasp nest after he sprayed, and he came back to take care of the issue the next day. 100% recommend this family owned business! read more

For many years, I was fighting a losing battle against garden ants, spiders, and crickets using homedepot bug sprays and baits around the house. I was somewhat reluctant to use professional services because I have a pet. Anyhow, I've found recently that 2 different species of ants have finally gotten through my walls and started to roam around my bathroom then quickly spread to my living room and kitchen area. I had to call it quits and look for a pro. Colby Pest Control has little but all good reviews and is close to my home. Scheduling was easy and Mr. Colby showed up well within the scheduled time window then he performed the procedures in-out-around the house very thoroughly spending nearly 2 hours. His price isn't the cheapest like he even said but I would call him again when bugs return and I know they will. I'll have Colby on my side. read more

Glenn returned my call to inquire if he services my area (unfortunately he didn't). However, he spent some extra time with me chatting about the issues I had and gave me advise on how to handle.
