Freaked out when I thought we had termites flying around the house. I sent a photo to OC Bug Company looking to get an inspection, and Jason responded to let me know that they're just flying ants. I'm relieved and I appreciated that he was up front about it. I'll absolutely be calling OC Bug Company when we do need termite control. read more

OC Bug Company - Fumigation tent - Pest Control Near Me - La Habra, California

I highly recommend Jason and the OC Bug Company!! I had my first termite inspection by Jason. He actually crawled up in the attic and showed me pictures of what he saw up there and explained what he could do to treat my unit (since I am wall to wall with other townhouses). He sent an estimate over to me the same day. I did have a few other inspections done. One company, the guy didn't bring a ladder or flashlight. He just saw 1 spot I showed him. Told me all of the areas he would treat, and it would cost 4x what it cost with OC Bug Company! As a female, I know we often get ripped off when it comes to these types of things, so I had to hear from a few companies to be sure. The OC Bug Company was obviously the right choice! Jason was super nice and explained everything to me well. I knew he wasn't the type to take advantage of someone who was clueless about this sort of stuff. He arrived on time, worked fast but was very thorough. I will definitely be reaching out to him again, as I live in a townhouse and the termites will be back! read more

Jason is the real deal! Very honest and professional. We used his services for both drywood and subterranean termite treatments. He'll provide all the info and suggestions you'll ever need so you can make a sound decision. His prices are very competitive without cutting corners. Very good communication from beginning to end. Went above and beyond our expectations. Wife finally stopped freaking out about termites, thanks Jason! read more

These 5 star reviews are all accurate. Jason is fantastic to work with. I also got multiple estimates and inspections - they were all higher (one was 3x) than Jason's estimate, plus his inspection was more thorough. None of them noticed anything wrong in the attic, but Jason did. Even with doing more work than the other companies, his price was the best. All calls, emails, and texts were extremely prompt. Payment was after completion (everyone else wanted up front). I've had a lot of trouble these last few months and Jason was one of the few things that have any issues. read more

Just used Jason and the crew at OC Bug Company to tent my house for termites and it was the best decision! Jason is extremely helpful and walked me through the tenting process step by step. He answered all my questions - and I had a lot - he is extremely knowledgeable. You can tell he really takes pride in his company. His price was very affordable and lower than the other quotes that I got. I will be referring OC Bug Company to all my friends! Thank you, Jason. read more

OC Bug Company - My house while it was being fumigated - Pest Control Near Me - La Habra, California

I almost hired Jason and OC bug for fumigation until the end stages where things got weird. Make sure to ask about who is actually doing the work. When I went to review the contract and sign the documents, there was a different company listed as the company doing the work. I looked them up and they had terrible reviews, 1-2 star ratings. I also found out a different company was going to do the work when my gas company SoCal Gas called me, asked about what company I hired, and then told me a different company called them to turn off my gas. I knew it had to be related to OC Bug company because they were the only ones I moved forward with and gave the dates to. After that I switched and hired a different company. read more

Jason at OC Bug Company just completed a Fumigation job on my home. I found him on Yelp and with all the high ratings gave him a call. This was my first experience having to go thru the process of moving out, preparing the home, and I was a little nervous. But Jason was amazing, went over and over all the instructions, answered all my questions and gave me the assurance that everything would be ok. His crew did a great job and I am very satisfied with the overall process. I am termite free - Yay !! read more

Jason was a pleasure to work with. I received quotes from 3 exterminators to Tent and also to treat for subterranean termites. OC Bug company was the only exterminator to use google maps to give me a quote. The other 2 had to come out and they were 25% higher. Jason did the subterranean treatment and 2 days later the house and garage were tented and treated. Very professional and efficient. I will definitely use again if I need pest control in the future. read more

OC Bug Company - Tents went up quickly! - Pest Control Near Me - La Habra, California

I'm writing this review, a month after termite treatment. On March 21st, 2024, I reached out to a few termite/pest control companies via Yelp to request termite treatment. Jason responded to my request immediately and asked that I send him my contact information so he could set up an appointment for a no charge fumigation estimate. I responded with my information and Jason was able to come out the same day. He took a look under our home and saw where the termites had tunneled up. He verified that it was the same location that the swarm was exiting out of (behind our fridge). Jason took the time to explain how the treatment works; the termites carry it into their home/tunnels under the soil and spread it to the colony. He said it could take two weeks for them to be completely killed and that if for any reason I saw them again after two weeks, to give him a call. He was very patient, informative, kind, and knowledgeable. He gave me an estimate and said he would send the estimate in writing the next morning. The next morning, I did receive an estimate and it was what he quoted me the day before. The estimate was very reasonable, but my dad said to always get 2-3 estimates before making a decision. So I waited for a second company to come out. The other company said the next day they had available was a week later. Oof! Not what you want to hear when dealing with termite swarms in your kitchen. The other company came out and quoted over 3x as much as what Jason quoted me. The other company was talking about drilling every 12" into the concrete around the perimeter of the house and drilling every foot under the house. Needless to say, I was shocked. It was Saturday the 30th when I immediately called back Jason. Once again, he came out promptly and did what he said he would. After he treated the area, he reminded me that it could take two weeks for the colony to stop showing up, so not to worry if I saw a few stragglers in my kitchen. I waited a month to write this review because I know a lot of reviews are right after treatment. This isn't much time to see if treatments are effective, and unless the reviewer comes back on yelp to make an update, we never know if the person had issues. It's safe to say that Jason did a great job! I never saw a single termite after he treated under my house. He was very kind, never pushy, reasonably priced, and timely! It's so stressful having a kitchen swarmed with termites so having someone who can come quickly and treat just as fast is amazing. I would highly recommend Jason and that's why I took the time to write this lengthy review. read more

Jason was very knowledgeable and professional. He was available to answer questions even after he performed our subterranean termite service. I highly recommend Oc bug company read more

We had Jason to do the fumigation for the house. Later found out there's still termite. Jason came to the property and thoroughly explained how fumigation deal with dry wood termite but not subterranean termite. He then proceed with spot treatment and even went beyond for additional services that wasn't in contract. Jason did a tremendous job! would definitely recommend him. read more

Jason and the Crew at OC Bug Co were amazing throughout the process of my Fumigation. They paid attention to every detail and worked in a timely manner. Jason was kind and really listened to my particular needs, what I wanted and what I expected. Since I travel a lot, it was important that I find a Trust Worthy person who could handle everything while I was out of town. Now that i am back, I can honestly recommend Jason to anyone who wants personal service during the Fumigation process. The team finished the entire process according to the timeline and original cost he quoted me. I couldn't be happier with the result. As a first time homeowner, I was worried about many things (damage to plants, roof and security with my personal items ) but Jason walked me through everything until I had no reservations about the job and his company. Jason was available at all hours by phone when I had questions. I'll certainly be reaching out to them again in the future if my home needs fumigation again. read more

I am happy to leave a glowing review for OC Bug Co! They came out yesterday to treat our subterranean termites. The process was quick, easy, and not disruptive to our lives in the least. Last year I put off calling an expert and tried home remedies but nothing worked.. after going outside one night and seeing hundreds of spiders crawling down, I knew..it was time for a professional. Somehow letting a professional do the dirty work is a huge relief and worth the money. Ive counted on Jason twice now to help with the brown widow infestation I get in Fullerton. He's always been able to come in a short period and I notice a huge relief from getting rid of the dangerous pests. He's the most reasonable priced company I've found as well, so definitely a win-win for us customers. read more

Great job, great price. I'd recommend them to anyone. They're the only contractor who just gave me an estimate rather than trying to schedule appointments. read more

Jason did work for me last August 2019. Although tenting was highly recommended, we opted for the spot treatment after finding dropping in one of the rooms. He did educate me on the pros and cons of my options which I appreciated. Fast forward to July 2020 and we found droppings again in the same room but the next stud over. Jason came over again, no charge, and spot treated the area. Again, he recommended the tenting, but because of our current pandemic situation, we will wait and definitely get it done through Jason. In summary, I highly recommend OC Bug Company because Jason is a hard working, friendly, and stand up guy. I felt no issues with him and you definitely know what you are getting when you work with him. read more

They did a very good job with tenting and fumigation, but they bent my satellite dish. I see that it's a common theme in the comments. Other than that, they did a great job. My security cameras showed me that they were very thorough. The main person we spoke to was also very helpful in the setup. read more

It's always tough to find a great service business whether it be a dentist, doctor or mechanic. Once you find one, be a lifetime customer. I can't say enough good things about Jason. Extremely courteous and professional. Took a lot of time to explain how to prevent and treat termites. We had a termite nest at our front door and got him to also check our attic. Turns out that termites were starting to infest the attic as well. So got him to locally treat our front door and spray the entire attic. Drilled some little holes by the door frame to spray the foam into the frame and sealed them afterwards without any trace of holes. He took great care in making sure he to pick up after himself. Very pleased with his work and he would be our go to guy for any future problems. read more

If I can give 10 stars I would. From beginning to end, this place has been so helpful. Dealt with Jason and he was very responsive and very detailed clear on his explanations. Very easy to deal with and friendly as well. Definitely will use them again. Amazing pricing as well. read more

I previously had another company coming out quarterly and spraying for bugs; this was typically done when I was at work. I happened to be home once when they stopped by and was so disappointed to see that all he did was shake something on the ground around my home; mainly on the grass. No spraying around windows or anything. Needless to say, I let them go. This was my first time using OC BUG COMPANY. Jason came out to my property today and sprayed for spiders, crickets and other critters. He did a very thorough job and was very informative. He even alerted me to a problem with my plumeria that's turning yellow. I am very pleased with the job he did. It's clear that he takes pride in his work. OC Bug did the inspection and found termites, requiring fascia board replacement and tenting. Everything went fine until the tent was installed and removed. Very careless crew and sloppy effort. The Directv dish was bent so badly it had to be replaced; The roof heater vent cap was found in the back yard; Roof tiles cracked; empty water bottles left in bathroom; hose left laying out in front yard. If you use them, I recommend that you observe the installation and removal of the tent. read more

I finally found a Termite specialist that I trust. Really enjoyed working with Jason and will recommend him to my friends/family. He gave me plenty of warning that some plants will die during tenting and some roof tiles may get broken when workers walk on the roof. So I need to account for additional costs. The tenting went smoothly and yes some plants died and tiles were broken. That will happen with any company. He also took care of some subterranean termite spots without trying to up-sell extra things. He's a lean small business and tells you straight. Yes, I will call him again if ever needed. read more

Very disappointed! During my fumigation, the workers broke my TV in my bedroom and lied to the owner and stated they knew nothing about the incident. Before I left my home, for the three days, all my items were perfectly fine; nothing was broke, until the OC crew came and damaged my property. The owner basically believed his workers and only compensated me $200 for my TV and told me to purchase a Vizio at Walmart, however, my broken TV costed over $300 dollars. Horrible service. In addition, the workers went into my drawers to look for my spare key and threw all my papers on the floor, so when I came home, I had all kinds of stuff to pick up off the floor due the carelessness of the workers. Won't ever do business with this company again! read more
