The Bugman company is the best!!! Eddie, the inspector, was thorough, honest, and fantastic to deal with. Isiah, the terminator , was thorough, caring, understanding, and awesome!!! Years ago I called the Bugman for my subterranean termites and they did a fantastic job back then. A few weeks ago I discovered the I had dry wood termites in the attic and called the Bugman for an inspection. Eddie came out and inspected every square inch of my home, didn't rush through anything (took a couple of hours probably), patiently answered all my questions and concerns, showed me pictures of everything that was problematic and everywhere that treatment was needed. Isiah came out and did the local treatment and was fantastic to work with. Gave great attention to all the areas that needed treatment. I felt he took care of my job as if it was at his own home. Before signing up with the Bugman, I called another company just to price shop the job. The rep from that company went in to the attic for about 5 minutes and said he saw a lot of wings and that I need to tent the house. Puzzled by how quickly he came to that conclusion, I asked if he could show me the areas he was troubled by and if anything could be done with local treatment to address the infestation. The rep said my whole attic was infested and only treatment option is tenting. Completely not true! I have a large attic and only a portion of it had some infestation and the second company wanted to charge me many thousand$$ for tenting. The Bugman group did a local treatment in the infested area and I paid a fraction of what the other company wanted to charge for unnecessary/excessive work. Thank you to everyone at the Bugman!!!! read more

Shout out to Nathan Harrison and Daniel Montes from the Bugman. They handles our wood repairs from termites and they did a great job. They were on time, professional and did great work. They act quickly. The inspector Jason is very polite and responsible. He gave me a detailed report about what he found. Just make sure to verify your cellphone number with the representative of the Bugman again in case they cannot contact you. read more

Talk about the best service from a very experienced tech Isaac! We had some pest in our condo and he came out and immediately took action so that we could be comfortable in our home. He even left us extra sticky traps for us to set if we needed. The sticky traps will catch rodents, spiders, roaches and flies!! I want to note that we live in Escondido ( North County San Diego) and Issac drove all the way from Anaheim! He showed up attentive and ready to find a solution! We really appreciated how he walked through our home with us and explained in detail what his plan of attack was! We were very impressed with how well The Bugman took care of us and how quickly they were able to make it out here. Special shout out to the office staff for understanding our urgency and for being more than understanding! We will be recommending The Bugman to family from now on! read more

Thank you to Andrew for outstanding service! Our kids consider him our "big hero." He took care of our pest issue, all while providing the best customer service. No more bugs means a better nights rest! read more

This is our 2nd time with the Bugman. They took great care of our pest control in Long Beach. Now in Fallbrook we chose to work with The Bug Man again. Jerry has been our technician for a year and a half. Jerry is a true professional and is very focused on creating a great client experience. We had an indoor and outdoor ant problem and Jerry remedied that quick. Always honors his word and ensures we are happy. I think he also works Temecula and Murrieta. We highly recommend Jerry and The Bugman Company. read more

Stand out job by Tony Rubalcava for carpentry, Mario for the treatment work and Ben Chavez for the inspection.

I don't know how many times I have to post this to let your people know how to really, really terrific the bug man is as a company. Just had Landon Belcher And Eddie Martinez come to my house to do some work not only was he a nice guy he did great work he did it fast and cleaned up after himself. I've never met a company where every single person who comes to my house is that accommodating and professional. I don't write these kind of reviews but I am making A major exception because this company is that good! read more

Daniel came to our house along with Tony to do the wood repairs. He was very personable, very efficient and hardworking. Tony and Daniel were a great team for our repairs. Next year, when we have our annual review, I would like to have Joe Rivera again. Super thorough. Personable. Knowledgible. Thank you, Bugman!!!! read more

We were having a terrible time with invasive ants. With the Bugman's help, we've been ant-free for several months. Recently, I had to postpone a regular outdoor treatment, and the heat later brought ants back into our kitchen (two days before the postponed visit would take place). I called for help, and they rearranged their busy schedules to send someone out on the same day. This team is truly dedicated to service, and the ants have been no match for them. Thanks, Bugman! read more

Just had Mark Goldn (hope I spelled that right) come by and take care of a couple issues here at my property. He was very attentive and then noticed another long-term problem we had been having here. Happy that he went ahead and took care of that as well out of courtesy. Absolutely the definition of above and beyond and we look forward to continue working with him and The Bugman in the future! read more

Narciso Rodriquez was assigned to us with our termite issues and he was very thorough. He did a great job as we needed to have this done in order to sell our condo. He was punctual, answered all our questions and completed the job promptly. read more

Robert completed a thorough estimate on our termite situation and gave us a complete rundown on the damage and treatment plans. He accommodated our request of arranging an appointment that fit our time frame. Narciso arrived on the assigned time/day and prepped, treated and cleaned up very efficiently. Both Robert and Narciso were very professional and knowledgeable in treating our bug problem. I am very satisfied and will use BugMan in the future. read more

I am really impressed with The Bugman's knowledge and customer service. We were being overrun by ants in our home. I called one day, they came the next for an evaluation, and came to spray the very next day. Both the sales representative and the technician were kind, explained everything in detail, and showed genuine care and concern for my children and dogs. A huge thank you to Dave and Don for their expertise and excellent service! read more

Tony and Ivan did a great job! Very professional, hardworking individuals.

PATHETIC!! Would have put "0" stars if I could. Had an appointment scheduled...waited 2 hours...no show, no call. Later that evening a manager called and said "she couldn't find her technician and doesn't know what happened." Talk about disorganized! When I called back to see what actually happened, I got the run around and a total smart ass attitude! Don't waste your time with this crappy run company!! HA! And to think their voice recording says "100% satisfaction guaranteed!!" We didn't even get started and I'm 0% satisfied! Going elsewhere. read more

I've been having my home serviced by the Bugman for the last 5 years...they've been consistent with their work and thoroughness. My latest tech Ignacio was amazing. Not only did he find the source of termites which wasn't easy, he also found a water leak in my wall and going under the foundation. After he was done addressing the termite issue, he stayed and investigated finding the source of the water leak, then giving me suggestions of what to do next, and this had nothing to do with the termite issue. He went way above and beyond and it was so very much appreciated. And he did it all with a great attitude. Thank you Ignacio for the great service! Gabe read more

As a collection agency, this place is grade A, top of the line! I've never had a collection agency strike the fear of god as well as this one. I've not really had much experience with collection agencies but I'm pretty sure the bugman's organization can win some awards. I has some issues with ants over last summer; they were pretty much coming out of the woodworks so after an initial inspection I signed up for a quarterly service for a year contract just for good measure. After sending the needed financing, their technician came out and took care of our ant problem and a few other things included into the contract, such as cobweb cleanup....AND that was the last I saw or heard from them! For the next 2 seasons after seeing that same cobweb above my porch--I could swear birds were using it as a nest by then--I called in to cancel my service. The lady over the phone convince me that I had one more service in my contract--which I've already rightly paid for--which they won't honor if I cancelled my service right there and then. So I held off on the cancellation and told her to make a note to the technician to let me know when they did come to my house. Again, another season passes without a word. Fall season arrives and well, I now have the pleasure of having the weekly voicemails from the friendly Bugman collector saying that I now owe them for the new service they provide at the new rate since my year contract is over. And yes, that cobweb over my porch is still there. It makes for quite an authentic Halloween decoration! read more

Used the Bugman for years and then felt I didn't need the service any longer. A few years have gone by and I called them again and I got the whole run around about not giving out prices over the phone and they couldn't get someone out tomorrow to do the work just the estimate. All seems a bit odd as this is the same house that they did for years with the same issues - all minor by the way. Called Terminix and they gave me a quote over the phone, honored a $50.00 off coupon and the work will be done tomorrow. Really frustrating and bad customer service Bugman! You lost a customer! read more

Just wanted to thank Patrick Sanchez for the excellent service today at the company facility. As requested he called 15 minutes prior to arriving and was thorough in preforming his services as well. I hope Patrick will be assigned to our facility as a primary account in order to establish a consistent and familiar routine. read more

Made an appointment for a free inspection. They gave us a 2-hour window. They even called a day-ahead to confirm. Jason the inspector showed up about 20-minutes early (which, in my book, is a thumbs up...early is much better than late). He made arrangements to accommodate my kennel'ing my dog by doing as much of the back yard checks (including going under the house) first. Did a good, long check of everything...top and bottom (and, on a hot day no less...). He found signs that our other appointment didn't find (especially under the house...which means I've downgraded their rating by a star). He even advised that tenting isn't necessary, as well as provided the pros and cons. He also explained what the warranty/guarantee covers. Professional: CHECK Informative: CHECK Thorough: CHECK Looks like we're going to go with The Bugman. :) read more

These guys were amazing!! We had rats in our attic and they came out, set traps, replaced screens and checked back with us. They always arrived on time and left everything neat. We worked with Rafael and Mario - great guys and no more rats. I will use them again and refer them to our friends. Way to go The Bugman!!! Vikki 1-2019 read more

Horrible service with this company. I have had two encounters with this company the first time we were getting roaches they, we followed what they had advised us to not only were they extremely rude( I had at the time a new born and couldn't get out of the within a min I asked him if he could give me 5 min to grab my stuff and the baby and the guy responded "well how long are you gonna take? " I repeated my self and said "5 min" he scoffed and smacked his lips and just walked away) and had at least 3 months and still could not get rid of them. I finally decided to call Orkin and not only did they get rid of them the only came out 3 times. The bugman was well aware of the fact that I had dogs my dog got sick and they refused to pay for her care the vet also stated that it was the chemicals used and they still did not care. This time I have rats and the only person helping us is the maintenance man. They walked in to do an evaluation found a rat in the restroom and still did not want to catch it they made they had the maintenance catch it. They advised us that there is not much more they can do besides what the maintenance man was already doing and never came back. I'm only stuck with this company because they have a contract with the corporation that own my building. DONT EVER GET THIS COMPANY ITS HORRIBLE TOTALLY RECOMMEND ORKIN!!!! read more

When my girlfriend and I encountered a swarm of termites outside our house during quarantine we were obviously very concerned. As soon as we called The Bugman, however, we felt confident that the issue would be fixed promptly and we'd get the service we needed. Ben R. came to our house yesterday to do the treatment and was awesome. He was on time, professional, kind, and got the job done. We are very satisfied and highly recommend using The Bugman, with Ben R. in particular being great to work with there. read more

On all levels the Bugman did a great job. Robert, the inspector, showed up on time and did a very thorough inspection from top to bottom. He explained the ins and outs of termites, their activity and how to combat them, and the positive and negative aspects of tenting vs local treatment. We chose localized treatment. The technician arrived right on time, explained what he would be doing, where he would need access, and when he expected to finish. A couple of days later the wood repair crew showed up and went to work. They primed and painted any new wood, and left things as clean as when they arrived. Their estimate was the highest of the 3 we received, but the quality of work was top notch and I highly recommend them for any termite service you might need. read more

I just would like to say how much I appreciate the Bugman . I had a rodent problem and it was really scary, as a single woman home owner. I spoke with Tony Reeves, he completely put me at ease. Told me he was sending Rocky K. who is head of the rodent eradication team . He answered my questions knew just what was needed . About a week later Mario and Raphael came to the house they were polite and fully equipped to take care of my problem . They worked diligently and finished the job beautifully . Mario even built me a custom screen for my under house entry. Very impressed with this company and I can't thank all four men enough. I will be a customer for life . Because I know I can trust them!! If you have a rodent or bug problem Call the Bugman !! Thanks guys, Mary read more

Thank you Hector, Eric, and Team for your understanding and help. I feel at ease in my apartment again. This company has excellent customer service! I used to manage for hotels and I manage for a great company with customer service now and the way Eric and Hector handled the issues, I was very happy. They were very communicative and Hector the General Manager himself came to my home to personally speak with me and take a look at my whole apartment. Very friendly and personable. Making me feel at ease that all bugs will be gone in no time. After my phone call they set appointments for visits and treatments right away. They call back when they say they will and Eric the manager was very understanding and did not once make me feel that I was wrong. Eric and Hector thank you for fixing the problem, my daughter and I are going to sleep well again :) read more

Contacted The Bugman and told them of my situation. The scheduler was kind enough to squeeze us in the very next morning! My husband spoke to Marie who was very kind and accommodating and seemed to go above and beyond to make things work for us. We are new homeowners and gutted our home and found some termite trails. Figured we have a professional inspect it. Robert was right on time the next morning and had to wait for us bc we were late haha. He gave us a courtesy call 30 minutes before arrival. He advised us to tap into our one year warranty first (from escrow termite inspection) before going with them to save us money. OMG I APPRECIATE THE HONESTY. He was thorough during his inspection and explained his findings. Overall, I appreciated their punctuality, honest approach, and didn't feel like they try to up-sell me. THANK YOU!!!! read more

We had a Bee in our kitchen this morning. My mother is allergic to bees and I do not want to find out if I am allergic to bees. I googled up the closest wasp exterminator, thinking it was a wasp. The lady on the phone was very helpful and had a great personality. She called around and found a bug man in my area who could arrive within the hour. True to her word Alex the bug man arrived at her home in Torrance within the hour! Alex was in our kitchen less than a minute and found the bee, He picked it up by its wings and said it still had a little pollen in the back hind legs. He brought that bee right on outside where it belongs. The bee is happy to be outside and we are happy it is outside as well! Alex was not even going to charge me for the removal of the Bee, What a great guy! He walked around the perimeter of our home and made sure that we do not have any bee nests living in our walls. (Yikes!) All in all I would highly recommend the bug man for all of your insect needs! Thank you Alex! Thank you bug man! God bless you for your service and for helping us feel safe in our home. Our Hero! read more

One of the previous reviewers faulted The Bug Man for requiring a "year up front" payment for a termite contract. I guess the reviewer does not understand that when one is buying something resembling a "warranty" or a "guarantee" that one generally pays _up front_. I don't feel it is fair to diss this awesome company for policies that are standard across the industry. These guys are thorough, polite, and fair. That is a rare commodity in this day and age. Further, their warranty covers subterranean termites... try getting that from any of the big companies. $225/year for a house that used to be in an orange grove is a pretty good deal. In the last 30 years I'd wager they've been out five or six times for treatments. You'll never need tenting if you go this route. read more

The Bugman service was outstanding! Our inspector was Robert, who did a very thorough inspection. From the attic to under the house, from inside to outside, he checked everything and explained what he found and what needed to be done. Everything was above board and no high pressure sales. We set the extermination service for the day after Christmas at 10 a.m. At 10 a.m. on the 26th Narciso was at our door ready to do his job. He was professional and courteous. He explained what he was going to do and asked if we had any questions or concerns. He started inside the house then worked on the exterior, after that he went under the house. All the while he cleaned up any dust or mess that came with doing his job. At the end he went over everything he did, asked if we had any questions and the presented the bill. It was a fair price for the service and both technicians were outstanding. read more
