I called the bugman out to my house a couple years ago because of an ant's and spiders . A gentleman buy the name of Mark came out and did his thing and haven't seen any ants or spiders since. He takes all the cobwebs down from my patio cover and just a very pleasant person. Years ago I called the Bugman for my subterranean termites and they did a fantastic job back then. A few weeks ago I discovered the I had dry wood termites in the attic and called the Bugman for an inspection. Eddie came out and inspected every square inch of my home, didn't rush through anything (took a couple of hours probably), patiently answered all my questions and concerns, showed me pictures of everything that was problematic and everywhere that treatment was needed. Isiah came out and did the local treatment and was fantastic to work with. Gave great attention to all the areas that needed treatment. I felt he took care of my job as if it was at his own home. Before signing up with the Bugman, I called another company just to price shop the job. The rep from that company went in to the attic for about 5 minutes and said he saw a lot of wings and that I need to tent the house. Puzzled by how quickly he came to that conclusion, I asked if he could show me the areas he was troubled by and if anything could be done with local treatment to address the infestation. The rep said my whole attic was infested and only treatment option is tenting. Completely not true! I have a large attic and only a portion of it had some infestation and the second company wanted to charge me many thousand$$ for tenting. The Bugman group did a local treatment in the infested area and I paid a fraction of what the other company wanted to charge for unnecessary/excessive work. I've been having my home serviced by the Bugman for the last 5 years...they've been consistent with their work and thoroughness. My latest tech Ignacio was amazing. Not only did he find the source of termites which wasn't easy, he also found a water leak in my wall and going under the foundation. My husband spoke to Marie who was very kind and accommodating and seemed to go above and beyond to make things work for us. We are new homeowners and gutted our home and found some termite trails. We had a Bee in our kitchen this morning. My mother is allergic to bees and I do not want to find out if I am allergic to bees. I googled up the closest wasp exterminator, thinking it was a wasp. The lady on the phone was very helpful and had a great personality. She called around and found a bug man in my area who could arrive within the hour. True to her word Alex the bug man arrived at her home in Torrance within the hour! Alex was in our kitchen less than a minute and found the bee, He picked it up by its wings and said it still had a little pollen in the back hind legs. He brought that bee right on outside where it belongs. The bee is happy to be outside and we are happy it is outside as well! Alex was not even going to charge me for the removal of the Bee, What a great guy! He walked around the perimeter of our home and made sure that we do not have any bee nests living in our walls. I had lost faith in this company up until EDGAR AND MARIO came to my home today. They sealed up my house properly i didnt have to point out places to them they found them on their own and made sure to take care of it like it should have beenthe first time. I live in a mobile home and it is very hard to completely seal it, but they did an amazing job. As a collection agency, this place is grade A, top of the line! I've never had a collection agency strike the fear of god as well as this one. I've not really had much experience with collection agencies but I'm pretty sure the bugman's organization can win some awards. I has some issues with ants over last summer; they were pretty much coming out of the woodworks so after an initial inspection I signed up for a quarterly service for a year contract just for good measure. After sending the needed financing, their technician came out and took care of our ant problem and a few other things included into the contract, such as cobweb cleanup....AND that was the last I saw or heard from them! For the next 2 seasons after seeing that same cobweb above my porch--I could swear birds were using it as a nest by then--I called in to cancel my service. The lady over the phone convince me that I had one more service in my contract--which I've already rightly paid for--which they won't honor if I cancelled my service right there and then. So I held off on the cancellation and told her to make a note to the technician to let me know when they did come to my house. Again, another season passes without a word. Fall season arrives and well, I now have the pleasure of having the weekly voicemails from the friendly Bugman collector saying that I now owe them for the new service they provide at the new rate since my year contract is over. And yes, that cobweb over my porch is still there. It makes for quite an authentic Halloween decoration! read more

The Bugman service was outstanding! Our inspector was Robert, who did a very thorough inspection. From the attic to under the house, from inside to outside, he checked everything and explained what he found and what needed to be done. Everything was above board and no high pressure sales. We set the extermination service for the day after Christmas at 10 a.m. At 10 a.m. on the 26th Narciso was at our door ready to do his job. He was professional and courteous. He explained what he was going to do and asked if we had any questions or concerns. He started inside the house then worked on the exterior, after that he went under the house. All the while he cleaned up any dust or mess that came with doing his job. At the end he went over everything he did, asked if we had any questions and the presented the bill. It was a fair price for the service and both technicians were outstanding. read more

Used the Bugman for years and then felt I didn't need the service any longer. A few years have gone by and I called them again and I got the whole run around about not giving out prices over the phone and they couldn't get someone out tomorrow to do the work just the estimate. All seems a bit odd as this is the same house that they did for years with the same issues - all minor by the way. Called Terminix and they gave me a quote over the phone, honored a $50.00 off coupon and the work will be done tomorrow. Really frustrating and bad customer service Bugman! Made an appointment for a free inspection. They gave us a 2-hour window. They even called a day-ahead to confirm. Jason the inspector showed up about 20-minutes early (which, in my book, is a thumbs up...early is much better than late). He made arrangements to accommodate my kennel'ing my dog by doing as much of the back yard checks (including going under the house) first. Did a good, long check of everything...top and bottom (and, on a hot day no less...). He found signs that our other appointment didn't find (especially under the house...which means I've downgraded their rating by a star). He even advised that tenting isn't necessary, as well as provided the pros and cons. He also explained what the warranty/guarantee covers. Horrible service with this company. I have had two encounters with this company the first time we were getting roaches they, we followed what they had advised us to not only were they extremely rude( I had at the time a new born and couldn't get out of the within a min I asked him if he could give me 5 min to grab my stuff and the baby and the guy responded "well how long are you gonna take? " I repeated my self and said "5 min" he scoffed and smacked his lips and just walked away) and had at least 3 months and still could not get rid of them. I finally decided to call Orkin and not only did they get rid of them the only came out 3 times. The bugman was well aware of the fact that I had dogs my dog got sick and they refused to pay for her care the vet also stated that it was the chemicals used and they still did not care. This time I have rats and the only person helping us is the maintenance man. They walked in to do an evaluation found a rat in the restroom and still did not want to catch it they made they had the maintenance catch it. They advised us that there is not much more they can do besides what the maintenance man was already doing and never came back. I'm only stuck with this company because they have a contract with the corporation that own my building. DONT EVER GET THIS COMPANY ITS HORRIBLE TOTALLY RECOMMEND ORKIN!!!! read more

I have used Bugman for many years, the service is always dependable and I have had no problems. The last couple of years I had some wood damage that had to be repaired and/or replaced. Art Gonzalez and Nathan Harrison were the employees that did the last round and they were fabulous. Very efficient and fast. They cleaned up every day and work was perfect. I grabbed a little paint and they painted the boards before they put up and they figured out a way to get at the problem areas. The Bugman supervising carpenter Tony Rubalcava and his team members ( Nathan Harrison and Rudy Gallegos) did a fantastic job replacing termite damaged wood at my Newport Beach home. The second story fascia board work was particularly challenging because there were seamless gutters attached . The work was completed with no gutter damage. Tony was very respectful and very diligent keeping me informed about the scheduling and sequencing of their work projects. He explained the ins and outs of termites, their activity and how to combat them, and the positive and negative aspects of tenting vs local treatment. We chose localized treatment. The technician arrived right on time, explained what he would be doing, where he would need access, and when he expected to finish. A couple of days later the wood repair crew showed up and went to work. They primed and painted any new wood, and left things as clean as when they arrived.
