Inspector Ignacio Lopez, helpful, kind, thorough, fair and provided awesome customer service

So far so good. TONY was the inspector that came out to assess wth was going on and confirmed our suspicions. He explained things, provided options, took pictures to show us what we couldnt see, provided opportunities for questions and made himself available for follow ups. He ensured some clerical things were completed before we signed off on contracts. Because he was so thorough, we finally decided in going w bugman. ART and DANIEL were our wood repair guys. There was some damage was not on the original contract since it was not visible until they removed the gutter. Art was communicative and fixed it all wout incident. He takes initiative to ensure things were done properly. While removing an old satellite our screen got damaged and he fixed it. He also made sure that he showed what work was done before they left. Again, explaining what they did and how they did it. We also signed up for the bimonthly pest service. We were w someone before and after being at home due to covid it was apparent they did nothing. This was evident from the massive mounts all over our back yard and what the bugman tech JORGE identified as fire ants. He explained how he knows they are fire ants vs other pests, explained what needed to be done, and before he left provided tips for keeping them at bay. Its been a couple weeks since he was here but the yard is now useable. Now the last part is tenting. I am hoping it goes smoothly just like the rest of the services rendered. read more

Narciso Rodriguez provided exceptional service. He texted to update us on his estimated arrival time and was punctual. His inspection was thorough and he treated two areas with termites to our complete satisfaction. He was professional, responsive to requests and very respectful of our property, and also very friendly. We were completely comfortable having him work inside our home. The Bugman has always provided excellent service and we recommend them and this Tech Narciso Rodriguez without reservation! read more

I have to tell you about Luis Barron at The Bugman. He was so very professional, kind, helpful and extremely accommodating. When he arrived at my house (15 minutes early!), he wasn't told that I needed a longer piece of wood than he was told to use (miscommunication), but he managed to get a longer piece to make sure our project was done to my satisfaction. I told him that we have someone who is going to paint the finish wood work he did to our house but he said that he likes to paint and would be happy to do so for us. Everything came out wonderful and i have a termite free/ newly replaced corner of my outside of house. He's one of the good guys and should be praised for his work and character. read more

I have used The Bugman for both my termite and pest control needs for about 5 years. The technicians always arrive on time and are friendly and professional. Narcisco was my last termite inspector and he went above and beyond to provide top notch customer service but all of my pest control technicians have been fantastic as well. read more

Great experience with Dave. We had to have mom's place fumigated. Dave arrived to do the inspection at the respective time; even though I did not receive the 30 minute window everything worked out. Dave was professional and courteous. He explained the 3rd party relationship relative to the work to be done. He accepted all calls I made to him and appeared to never be too busy to talk to me about the job read more

Our inspector, Isai Garcia, was on time and professional. He thoroughly checked my house and patio. He clearly identified the areas on my exterior that had some minor damage and he took care of treating the areas. Once he was done, he provided me with a clear sketch of my property. I would recommend Isai if you are looking for a friendly, professional and efficient termite inspector. read more

So far I'm not impressed with their service. Sat here for two hours waiting for them to show up and no one did. After I called to find out where they were, first I was told that I was not on the schedule, then I was informed that the technician went home due to a family emergency and that I was scheduled for the next day. I asked why I wasn't informed and the lady said "I don't know" then she told me that I was scheduled for the next few Tuesdays when I am supposed to be down for Monday's. How can you possibly run a business with no communication with the client? Ridiculous. Addendum: 7/22/19 Sat here again for two hours and no one showed up. I love your company so much that I have to talk about it! If I was paying for this and not my landlord, I would be asking for a full refund. I have better things to do than to wait for your company to show up! Again, ridiculous! read more

I have read lots of previous reviews and I am sure it is great company. But personally I would recommend you shop around more before you use The Bugman . When sales / closer arrived and did an estimate, I was given quite a high price , he said the reason because it was going to talk all day to do a termites treatment . But when I was making an appointment, I was told that it takes 2.5 hours only . So he pretty much lied to me in order to justify cost of hourly labor . But anyway, later on I found company to do the same treatment for half of the price. Good luck . read more

I had some termite damage repairs done on my home and I was so impressed with Nick and Nathan's work that I wan't to share that I would highly recommend them to everyone. You might think twice about having an exterminator come to perform wood repairs due to pest damage...we did. We were absolutely thrilled with the work that Jesse Saldana and his crew did. Tony Rubalcava put in a new door and frame, and Jesse and Rudy replaced main beams, decking, and fascia. They even filled in some areas that weren't necessarily pest related but with extra material and opportunity put in the effort. I can't recommend this crew enough, they worked diligently and expertly for the repairs needed. read more

We're visiting our daughter in Irvine and happened to be at the house when Isaiah Chairez from The Bugman visited for the annual inspection. Isaiah was courteous, professional and went the extra mile to explain to us what he was doing. We mentioned that we thought we heard scratching in the attic crawl space and he took the initiative to climb up to the second floor, detach the exterior grate, inspect, set traps and then re-secure with new set of screws. Really set our minds at ease. Couldn't ask for more!! We use Terminix at our house in Hawaii. I wish we could use The Bugman instead! read more

Working with them on an escrow currently. They are the HOA's preferred vendor for pest control. First the things that I don't love: They have a minimum service fee. We struggled with communication at first figuring out which kind of service was required and how to schedule. Part of that was because of a new employee. Was given a 2 hour time frame in which the inspector would arrive, which seemed long. Now the good: Inspector (Jason A.) showed up during the scheduled time on the early side. My inspector was thorough, called when he was on his way, had lots of experience. Also important to me was that he said that as far as the experience as an employee goes, this is the best he has been treated at any company he has worked for in 15 years. He immediately showed me what he had found, and gave me a copy of the diagram and service agreement on the spot. My escrow time period is short, so they were able to get me an appointment very quickly, even though very busy right now, and got me a report by the next day. Special thanks to Lori for working hard to squeeze in an appointment, and Mary for coordinating the scheduling for me. Giving a 5 star review because even though there were some glitches, they were able to resolve them for me, and meet the time frames required. Would use again. read more

The gentleman that came out to do an inspection was really great! Very informative and very thorough! His name was Art with the bug man company. We had a lot of termite and dry rot damage. Before we have the house tented, we decided to replace the bad wood. Our carpenters TONY and JESSE were detail oriented, professional, hard working and did a stellar job. Honestly I couldn't have asked for better craftsmanship. They replaced several long 16 foot boards that were hard to reach, plus quite a few of the shorter cross pieces under the eaves. They even painted the new wood for me since I had the leftover paint. Our inspector Ben was equally excellent. He explained things thoroughly, brought me bags for the tenting and a very thorough inspection. Thank you gentlemen for doing a truly 5 star job! read more

I have been using the Bugman for Termite inspection and pest control for years. I have to say, Their customer service is top notch. Yesterday Asai Garcia was my termite inspector. He was very thorough in his inspection, and explained everything about the inspection and his findings to me. For having to crawl under houses and up into hot attic's, he was always smiling and very pleasant. I see that same friendly, upbeat personality with my by-monthly pest control technician Alfonso. He also is very thorough, Listens to my concerns and makes sure to do a very good job. This says a lot for the company that they work for. I've been a termite service customer for years. They're so professional , kind and understanding. Last week Terrell came to our home three times, once with his coworker, Paul. They did a great job. They knew how upset I was that no Christmas decorations were going up until the rodent problem was resolved! I'm happy to say that there are no signs of any activity anywhere now! I would not recommend hiring this company for an exclusion service. They came out to our house to give us an estimate on an exclusion due to a rodent in our attic. They said $750 for the exclusion and that would stop any rodents and bugs from getting in the house. They did the exclusion and a month later my husband caught a rat in our fireplace. We called them back and they said oh we'll seal some more. Well for $750 you should have sealed everything the first time. They left and a month later we had a mouse in the kitchen. We noticed that many of our air screens were old and had holes in them. We called them back out and they said oh that will be another $750. What?!!! For work you should have done in the first place! No thank you. Now we are stuck with old vents and having to hire someone else to do the job they should have done in the first place. read more
