We had a lot of termite and dry rot damage. Before we have the house tented, we decided to replace the bad wood. Our carpenters TONY and JESSE were detail oriented, professional, hard working and did a stellar job. Honestly I couldn't have asked for better craftsmanship. They replaced several long 16 foot boards that were hard to reach, plus quite a few of the shorter cross pieces under the eaves. They even painted the new wood for me since I had the leftover paint. I have been a "Bugman" customer for 5+ years now and I have never had any problems ever. Had a bee problem some years ago and called 2 other company's and they never showed up. Called the bugman and they were there the next day. The man I use is: Juan Diaz pest control inspector of the bugman. He will not leave until the job is done and all issues are taken care of. The company always calls a day or two before the appointment to remind you that (in my case) that Juan is coming. He always comes to the door first and asks if there are any need or changes and then gets to the job. If you live in the high desert you need to call Juan @ 951-218-9258 to get your service started; if you don't call Juan, well all I can say then is good luck. read more

The Bugman is so wonderful! They accommodated me in a pinch! I have to tell you how great Luis is! He went above and the call of duty. He is courteous and kind. I would not recommend hiring this company for an exclusion service. They came out to our house to give us an estimate on an exclusion due to a rodent in our attic. They said $750 for the exclusion and that would stop any rodents and bugs from getting in the house. They did the exclusion and a month later my husband caught a rat in our fireplace. We called them back and they said oh we'll seal some more. Well for $750 you should have sealed everything the first time. They left and a month later we had a mouse in the kitchen. We noticed that many of our air screens were old and had holes in them. We called them back out and they said oh that will be another $750. What?!!! For work you should have done in the first place! No thank you. Now we are stuck with old vents and having to hire someone else to do the job they should have done in the first place. read more

Today , Bugman employees ROCKY with MARIO assisting came out for my monthly Exterminator service call. And they were very thorough in their work they knocked down several spiderwebs and said I had an infestation of spiders in my backyard and my surrounding house and they let me know , what to watch for that if I see this many spiderwebs on my plants and bushes to call and get an exterminator out to get rid of infestation that could get out of hand. I very much appreciated the information and how they wanted to make sure I was taken care of . We are very happy with our termite service by Bugman. The annual inspection is prompt and thorough, with on-the-spot treatment of small infestations included in the annual contract. For larger infestations with wood damage, they do a good job of repair (this costs extra). Ignacio L. did our inspection yesterday and not only was he very thorough, checking the entire house inside and out, garage, and attic, he found a gap under a window that was allowing crickets into the house. read more

I was very lucky to get the A team Eddie and Luis for our major project. Eddie was professional and didn't leave any detail out during our inspection. He knew what he was talking about and even broke down different options to get the best service. Eddie is able to communicate very effectively and is passionate about providing the best possible experience for his customers. Luis was the second part of our project and completed the craftsman portion. He definitely has a major with issues with perfection! He was very detailed and proud about his work. I wouldn't be surprised if each nail he hammered has the same distance and angle. His final product was top not notch. The only issue I had was that he had to leave I would let Luis work on my home any day. The Bugman should be proud of Luis and Eddie and how they represent their company. I will continue to use the Bugman services I even have their pest control. Again no issues with them, if I see any spiders or other insects they are quick to address the prblem read more

I used the Bugman to tent our home for termites. I've been doing property management for 35 years and have done many tents for termites on the rentals. Our roof is tile and The Bugman makes you sign a roof release/waiver which they tell me basically waives any and/all liability regarding the roof tiles. So if you don't sign they won't do the tenting. Actually, they can do whatever they want and don't have to be careful since they have no responsibility!! When they arrived to tent my home the contracted fumigation crew (hired by the Bugman) told me I had 2 broken tiles and I asked them to be careful since the tile is fragile. When they took the tent off the same crew told me they had broken 30 and my two that were already broken. I was ok with that and felt that was fair since it was tile roof. I had my roofer of 25 years come over to replace the broken tiles and there WAS NOT 32 but 160 broken/cracked tiles!! (I really dislike people that lie!) The roofer was honest and said that 8 he broke and he is a big man! But you have to step in the middle of the tile! The cost TO REPLACE THEM WAS $2,750 and this is my roofer of 25 years that put the original roof on! and is very honest! I've emailed Tony Reeves, General Sales Mgr. of Bugman and he responded that I had signed the waiver and they had given me a $150 discount on my fumigation (because I have many accounts with them). After this job, I will be pulling all my accounts from the Bugman!! I did have Solar put on my roof 3 years ago and they did break tiles, I signed a roof waiver and the Solar company did pay my roofer to replace all the broken/chipped tiles as they were going to do it but never did it!! Recently I used Professional Pest Management to do a three-plex in Costa Mesa. (I had a yearly agreement with Bugman for this property but when I had Professional Pest Management out for a mouse issue, they said this place needs tenting and we looked at the report the Bugman had done 2 weeks before and he showed me all the places that they had missed and was not on the Bugman termite report). I signed the "roof waiver" for the Costa Mesa property, they broke so many tiles and Professional Pest Management thought it was too many broken tiles and since I am a good customer and they want my business they wrote out a check to my roofer for the $1,300.00 for the repair!! Wish I would of used them for my house but stupidly I was paying The Bugman to do my termites inspection annually!! I started using Professional Pest Management as The Bugman was not getting mice/mouse issues taken care of at the rental properties.........they were trying but couldn't get the mice/mouse gone! Call PPM and they came in and closed all the entry points and got them and have been using them since for mice/mouse and starting now will use for tenting, pest control and rodent control. I've actually spoken to other pest control companies and they don't think we should take an annual termite policy as they say in California you need to tent your home every 7-10 years and at $350.00 per year you would pay for an annual termite inspection, you've over paid what the tenting would cost! If you need your home rid of termites or rodent issue, save your money and don't call The Bugman! read more

I'm in the middle of remodeling my bathroom and ran into a cockroach infestation that I was unaware of. I frantically called around trying to get someone out same day and while most places couldnt come for several days, The Bugman was able to get someone out within a couple of hours. Do not use the BUGMAN for TERMITE EXTERMINATION!! They pass on the work to another company anyway and up charge you. Also we got home to a house without gas for the weekend. The BUGMAN shut off our gas without bothering to put it back on and could care less that we are inconvenienced! I have surgery on Monday and it is crucial that I shower beforehand and they DO NOT CaRE for the inconvenience this has caused us!! TL,DR; We went with the "best" and they didn't fix the bug problem, the slipped out of the warranty with fine print, and were no longer as happy or friendly as they were when they were selling us their service. Paid 1450 and still have the same problem and it has only need a few weeks. They said they wont retreat our house. Here is more info... We were given furnature with bed bug but didn't notice right away. When we noticed we had them we called around inquiring about the different services available to rid them. I wasn't too fond of the BugMan because of their sales tactics but my wife wanted to go with them because we felt that they were professional and the best and we didn't want the bugs to spread to our 1 year old daughters room. We paid $1450 for them come and treat our house. We had to move everything into our garage for 3 weeks. Having all of your stuff in trash bags for 3 weeks was the most difficult part of the whole process. You can never find what you are looking for and if you do it takes 10-20 min. That is part of the process and not the bugmans fault. During the treatments we were still seeing the bugs. They reassured us that is no big deal and told us to not worry. We trusted them. After everything was all done we still have bugs. We called to have them treat again because they have a "1 month warranty"... I still dont understand how you can offer a service like this and only guarantee it for 1 month... they told us that we were out of warranty because the warranty starts on the First day of the treatment according to the contract. So, after the 3 weeks of treatment you have 1 week to call them to reinspect it. The eggs they lay take 1 week to hatch so you really have no protection. That makes me feel like the warranty is just a play on words and manufactured to provide and easy escape from responsibility. When my wife was talking with them about the bugs coming back they were no longer treating us with respect or professionalism. That is what frustrates me most. I was not upset at them when I heard the bugs were still here. I understand that things like this happen. What upset me is how my wife was treated and the evasion of responsibility. If you have read this far, I hope this review will help you. I wish I had done a bit more research before hand. I'd recommend going with another service provider and wish you the best of luck getting rid of your pests. This is no fun, espically when it affects your children. read more

Today was supposed to be my regular service number three wasn't happy in the beginning had to recall still having the same problem. Today I'm scheduled for 8 to 12 p.m. I took off work and now it's 12:30 and no one shows. I called the day before to confirm everything was fine. I call at 12:10 the lady on the phone tells me that I'm scheduled for Monday but she sees in the system that I confirmed yesterday that somebody would be out today she apologizes and says whould I like to reschedule how unorganised is this company they just cost me hours of work and sitting here for 4 and 1/2 hours what is wrong with you guys and not to even offer anything so disappointed in your service Addendum I got a return call from Nicole she was very nice she apologized and said there was a glitch and an email was sent stating that my appointment had been changed but I never received it.
