Eddie H with the bugman did a through inspection of our property. He found several areas that needed care. He provided me with a competitive quote so we moved forward with getting the issues resolved. Eddie was very knowledgeable and efficient. My daughter got a quote of $14,000 to fumigate her 3500 square foot two story home in Yorba Linda. The inspection agent was very polite. It was easy to schedule a visit. read more

Out of the 4 quotes I received from termite companies, this was by far the most expensive of all. The worker who gave me the quote was actually amazing and found a lot of termite action compared to the 2 other companies who came before him. I give him 5 stars. However, every company but this one bundled the multiple jobs I needed done, but here they gave me separate prices with the more expensive job quoted at the same price as another quote for the whole job. It was too bad they did this. I might have gone with them. I cannot attest to their actual termite removal. I am sure they are great at that. read more

After suffering from ant attacks for years and years, we began quarterly treatments with excellent service from our tech, Jorge Hernandez. When we discovered a roach problem, he suggested a complete kitchen treatment. Over two visits, he treated the problem with knowledgeable and professional results. We are highly impressed with his kindness and super service. read more

Bugman seems to be a great organization but unfortunately I was assigned a representative who wasn't at par. The representative who serves the Corona areas made the process very difficult. I paid $4,000 to secure the attic from rodents but I was not given a receipt. I literally have no record for the work done. I cannot submit my tax bill or energy company rebates. I contacted the rep several times over many weeks and each time he would promise a response and a fix but then I would never hear back from him. I would be the one who always initiated a follow up and then be faced with yet another excuse. On the brighter side, Tony, the carpenter who fixed holes in the wall left by rodent protection team, was amazing. The Bugman seems to be a worthy organization but individuals who are not performing and are left uncheck are dragging the hard work of others in the organization working tirelessly to create a good name for the company. read more

Had them out to give an estimate for service. I booked the service for over 2 weeks out and then canceled it a week in advance. They charged my credit card $950 for service I had canceled and never had!! Admitted their "mistake" but can't even say how long a refund will take. I wouldn't never use them after this experience! Meanwhile this is a large amount on my credit card -- which can impact my credit. Credit card company can't do anything for 10 days after the charge went thru. read more

I've been a Bugman customer for several years, including their annual termite inspection. Had several technicians throughout the time. However, Adrian is the best. Checks in when he arrives and leaves updates me with the activity goes extra well and checks out the whole property. He is a true asset to the company. Hope you are fortunate enough to have Adrian as your tech. read more

Ignacio has been doing my yearly termite inspections for some time now and is always very pleasant knowledgeable and thorough. This last inspection he found an area under the house that was getting very wet and not from the rain. I would not have found this on my own. I am grateful that he took the time to find out where the leak could be coming from, now I just have to fix it. I hate plumbing! read more

We live in a Home Owners Association in Huntington Beach, with about 100 town homes. We discovered a large section of honeycomb on the ground late Friday afternoon, with hundreds of bees swarming all over it....next to many homes with children! We fortunately found The Bugman who came right out and took care of the problem! Jay Jones was The Bugman technician and was WONDERFUL! A few neighbors got to see Jay in action and talk to him, and were very IMPRESSED with Jay and the service we got from The Bugman. We will definitely reach out to The Bugman again, and highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you Jay and thank you Joyce who answered the phone and our call for help! read more

The Bugman never disappoints! We utilize them for our quarterly pest control as well as our annual termite inspection! They are ALWAYS efficient, friendly, awesome & helpful - even educational when needed! Even though it was a monsoon on Monday- Rafael was on time & provided quality work from start to finish for the termite inspection. Rafael took care in our home & even wore shoe covers because of the rain- so appreciative! He provided the results & recommendations - never rushed even though he was probably cold from the down pour! We will always recommend & use The Bugman! They are top tier with top tier associates! Thanks Rafael! read more

Had the Bugman out to check on the rats I had in my attic. They came out last week, assessed the situation on how they were getting in. They did a detail search and found eight entrances. Jesse Saladana came out today and made all the necessary patches and even went beyond what was needed and added another patch, just to be safe. I am very impressed with his work ethic. He worked quickly, quietly and kept me updated on the work he was completing. Highly recommend Jesse and The Bugman. read more

I was very pleased with the excellent work of Arturo Gonzalez. The work involved a furnace not shutting off. The problem was quickly solved and completed once the parts arrived. Arturo managed to give a temporary fix until the parts arrived. There was no pressure to install a new furnace, a situation which sometimes occurs when service personnel sometimes exhibits. I would not hesitate in calling him again. read more

Ignacio Lopez inspected three different properties for us in one day. He is timely, detail oriented and accurate. We highly recommend him!

My first contact was with Eddie the inspector and he was very thorough and showed me all of the possible spots the rodents were getting in. He's really a pleasure to work with. When I decided to do the rodent exclusion, Rudy came and did a great job. I chose to do the trapping myself for the creatures still left inside-humanely-using AB live traps that I found on Amazon. It takes patience and a few weeks. My personal public service announcement: If you choose to do the kill method, please do not use poison (other animals can ingest and die) and use high quality traps that kill instantly. It's worth paying for the rodent exclusion even though it feels expensive. Trust me. The goal is to prevent rodent infestations in the first place and they can get in anywhere! A few follow-up appointments were required and I've been very satisfied. Their follow-through and customer service is excellent. read more

Narciso came today for my annual termite inspection. He was knowledgeable, thorough & extremely professional.

I am one of The Bugman's first customers starting back in 1991. I have had annual termite inspections every year since then. They do an excellent job and Art, in particular, is phenomenal. I would highly recommend using them for termites! read more

This is an update on my awful experience with The Bugman. Among the other problems - see prior review - they never responded/reimbursed me my $350 annual fee (a fee I had refused IN WRITING) so I clawed it back with VISA and after 3 months, it's officially mine. This company has no integrity. No respect. There are many other choices when it comes to termite tenting/treatment. I strongly advise you to choose someone else. read more

Over the years, I have had Bugman treat my homes and in every instance the service has been outstanding. This year I had a new technican, Isai Garcia. I found Isai very knowledgeable, detail oriented, and highly professional. read more

I have had other Control companies but Bugman is by far the best. But what what makes them the best are the staff. I have been in property management for over 10 years and have utilized The Bugman at many of my properties with great success. Their dedication to solving the problem and explaining costs accrued is second to none. I must say however that at my current property I have hit the jackpot when it comes to technicians with Jesse Campos. He not only is extremely communicative with myself in the office but also takes his time to address any questions my residents may have. I am beyond thankful for his expertise. It sounds odd to say that I look forward to a pest control service but with a technician as personable as Jesse it's hard not to. Thank you, Jesse, and The Bugman for getting the job done right. read more

My husband and I have been updating our home over the last couple of years now and decided it was time to inspect for termites after noticing deterioration of our attached pergola in the front courtyard, eaves and a space in our living room. After reaching out to them with our concerns, the bugman quickly scheduled Ben C. to conduct an initial assessment of our property. Ben was very professional, punctual, communicated with me throughout the duration of the inspection, answered all of my questions and gave me very detailed information on next steps to rid and protect our home from termites. Soon after our initial assessment and decision to move forward, Mario M. was scheduled as our technician to rid our home of both drywood and subterranean termites (gross!). The subterranean damage was extensive and Mario made sure to thoroughly treat all areas of our home as well as answer any remaining questions I had. Both representatives were great and we would be happy to have them treat our property again. We will definitely continue to use the bugman for our pest control needs and recommend them to our friends and family! read more

We have used The Bugman for years, both at our Laguna Niguel home and our current San Clemente home. We have subscribed to their annual contract services for the past 15+ years for both homes. Their service over those years has been good, or so we thought. We decided to sell our San Clemente home and a termite inspection report was required as part of the escrow process. The Bugman conducted the annual inspection in June and it was now August when we decided to sell. We thought there would be no problem with the report. When Jason from The Bugman arrived at our door and announced he was here for the "Escrow" inspection, something just didn't sit well with me. I thought, is this a different inspection from the normal ones they do on our contract? After Jason spent almost 30 minutes just under the eaves of our garage, it didn't feel right. Normally they would be done with their entire inspection in this time or slightly more. I asked Jason what was going on. He seemed like he didn't know what I meant. I told him normally the guys come through and give it a lick and a promise compared to what he was doing. He told me they have had issues with other inspectors not doing a proper job. That's not my problem, I thought. After an hour of banging holes and further damaging the wood around my home Jason presented his findings. Their recommendation was $4000+ to tent the house, plus an additional $8500+ of wood work. I was astonished. I asked him how that could be when our June report (only two months prior) was relatively clean. Again, he hemmed and hawed about how they had inspectors not doing the proper job. Again, not my problem. We pay for the annual contract service to avoid this type of situation. Jason and I walked around the house and he pointed out the damage. He pointed out an area on our back deck, the main structural beam, needed to be replaced due to water damage. Huh? This was never called out in the June report and there has been no rain in the last two months. My wife spoke to several people in management at The Bugman. Everyone she spoke to didn't see any issue with shoddy service they provided. The bottom line is The Bugman will hold you hostage if you use them for an Escrow inspection, and their annual service is not thorough. They know you need to get a clean bill of health to close escrow. They held us hostage. I will never use or recommend them ever again. This is a warning to all of you that are considering using them. If you would like to see my June report vs. the August (Escrow) report I will gladly email them to you. Contact me at gmorganga@gmail.com. read more

I have used Bugman for over 10 years and am always impressed with the individual technicians and their professionalism in doing their job. Today is a prime example with Isai Garcia. He was right on time, gave me a call so I knew he was on his way, conducted his inspection without delays and gave me a run down on what he found and where, on a sketched floor plan he used for notes, and to be followed by a written report for my house files. I will remain as a loyal customer for many years into the future. read more
