The bar at the brixton, Babylon

We really had a great time for brunch at the Brixton. Food was well curated and the staff was so courteous, professional and on pointe. Ambience was warm and welcoming. Our waiter was great. I had asked for eggless, no seafood, no meats options and they made sure I did get what I would and have loved.

I went to this cute brunch spot for my friends bday! Firstly, the ambiance is really nice. There was live music and the place is nicely decorated. Unfortunately, there was a man who was excessively drunk sitting besides us. The head chef noticed this and escorted him out promptly. Secondly, the service was pretty good too. They were able to take care of a big group of people. Lastly, the food was aesthetically pleasing but the taste was generally okay. My recommendations: Fire fries: loaded with avocado and egg. It's so tasty and great appetizer for a big group of friends (5/5) Avocado toast: small portion but it was tasty! There was an egg with a delicious chili honey drizzled on top (4.5/5) Brunch-wrap supreme: super hefty but packed with egg, short rib, and home fries (4.5/5) Blueberry fauxjito: perfect balance of sweet, acidic, and tart (5/5) sex on the Peach: sweet! (4/5) I wouldn't get... the sriracha deviled eggs (2/5) While I had a great time and it was tasty, I wouldn't go here again because it is too pricey for me. The taste and portion of the food was not worth the price.

The drinks were really good. The loaded duck fries were good but the duck was a bit overly fried. Really loved the Mac & cheese. Service was fast, Sal was our server. It gets pretty loud in there. The tables are annoyingly tiny and you're pretty much sharing the space with whoever is at the table next to you because they're so close together.

Blew me away. Elevated food and drinks and really lovely, accommodating staff. Quick background, we called ahead from the train on a very rainy night to see if they could accommodate us and when we arrived, there had been a misunderstanding and we couldn't be seated. Left to find another spot and got a phone call a few minutes later. The hostess had rearranged things and got us a table. She did not have to go to the trouble and it was so appreciated that they went above and beyond for us. From the time we sat, service was attentive and friendly and the food exceeded all expectations. It's small plates, which I love, and they serve everything on a rolling basis so a hungry family can pretty much start eating right away! Drinks are crafty and delicious, my husband is still raving about their peach iced tea. I had a mezcal cocktail that was perfectly mixed. The lemon pepper wings are some of the best I've ever had, the flavor is somehow all throughout the meat. The birria tacos were amazing - the dipping sauce packs a spicy punch but it's super flavorful. On to crispy rice tuna and Brussels sprouts- the tuna was fabulous. The Brussels were good, but had a very strong flavor of garlic powder (like the artificial kind that people sprinkle on pizza), which was a bit of a deterrent. Peperoncini deviled eggs were an unexpected treat that I hope stays on the menu forever, because I'll be back for those specifically. Finished this outstanding meal with a shared ice cream sandwich that was a perfect ending. We ate in the bar area which was tight, but no complaints. Service was on point clearing empty plates almost immediately and we never felt cramped or uncomfortable. Prices for the small plates range from about $16-$22. We've been raving about this place since that meal, and will absolutely be back for more.

Classy bar with great drinks & friendly bartenders. Love their margaritas! Great for a date night or a pre-dinner drinks on Main St!

Came here recently for brunch with my 12 year old daughter. We didn't have a reservation but they were very polite and seated me very quickly. The food was delicious and my daughter( who is very picky ) also enjoyed everything.

Came a few times when they first opened but haven't really been back. They're still decorated for Christmas which was very cute. The bar was packed playing good music. We sat in the back and it's very dim; nice for date night. The food was excellent!! Everything we ordered was perfect. I'd def give it 5 stars but the waitress was too busy for our table. We couldn't find her to refill our waters or order more drinks and she just dropped the check without asking if we wanted anything else. I think the kitchen had closed but we could've gotten a heads up or given a chance to order dessert. All the back tables were still full. Would def be back to try more dishes.

6 years later and the place has never disapointed. It's the perfect spot to spend with close friends.

Favorite spot of mine since the day they opened. Over the years, it's become a go-to spot to share great food, drinks, and laughter with friends and family. The welcoming atmosphere and incredible staff make every visit feel special.

The Brixton has a serious cocktail game. Be warned - this is on par with any Manhattan bar minus the inflated pricing. If you're hungry, their menu features some elevated comfort foods and seasonal options. Their pumpkin risotto is a must try as it screams of nutty spices and everything that makes Fall my favorite season. The Nashville hot chicken and biscuits came highly recommended and will warm your ass up, much like the staff did with their suggestions and accommodating vibe. Make Babylon and the Brixton a destination this holiday season!

Met a friend here for brunch on a Sunday. The restaurant was full and we didn't have a reservation so we sat at the bar. The bartender made us a drink that wasn't on the menu and it was tasty. Food was delicious too. Trendy restaurant, and clean too. If I'm being really picky I would say it was a bit chilly. Otherwise overall I give it 5 stars!

This is my favorite happy hour spot in Suffolk as of right now. Happy hour ends at 7 which is great for the 9-5ers. The food never dissapoints but the hummus is top tier!! I never wanted to go back to a place over hummus but surprisingly this place makes me. On Mondays they have a $3 bao bun special and a few of those plus the hummus is all you need. I've had their steamed dumplings, chicken + biscuits, and wings which are also good. Drinks are great too! The vibe is okay, but the people are very nice and the food is great. I would recommend this place every time.

I came here on a Tuesday with my boyfriend after swell taco had too long of a wait and we were pleasantly surprised. They have a taco Tuesday menu (look online) that has some homemade Taco Bell items on it and it was very delicious. We got the crunch wrap supreme, fiesta potatos and cool ranch chicken quesadilla. The crunch wrap was superior, but the potato's and quesadilla were both very good as well. Everything on the menu was $15 or less too! Overall it had a cute aesthetic (we sat outside), great and quick service, fair prices and very tasty food. I can't speak on their regular menu but we enjoyed taco Tuesday here a lot (especially as Taco Bell lovers)!!

This was the first time we had ventured to this area of Babylon, and it did not disappoint. We made a reservation because we figured it might be a little busy that night. I would recommend making reservations because seating is somewhat limited, and I can see it being a little bit of a wait. They have decent live music, and the waitress was fantastic and very attentive to our questions. The menu is based on small plates. But you shouldn't leave hungry because it's plenty of food. We started with the Koren BBQ chicken wings and great sauce, and the wings were cooked perfectly. Short Rib steamed buns were pretty good, and the Burger duo was great. I would highly recommend this place for a date night.

Food took about 30 minutes to come out, and we were literally the only ones in the place. My wife had digestion issues after eating. Also, the coffee cups are very small. We needed about 3 refills instead of 1 which we would normally get. Service 4/5. Our server was attentive, friendly, walked us through the menu without being pushy. He checked on us. Ambiance 2/5. Cozy spot, good music playing. But the chairs are metal with zero cushion, and there's a bar across the back of the chair that digs right into your back if you lean back at all, so you end up sitting forward the whole meal. First floor flooring looked dated too. Cleanliness 3/5. Floor on the first level wasn't that clean. Given the digestion issues afterward, makes you wonder what's going on back in the kitchen. Bathroom was fine though, passed a quick swipe test. Parking 3/5. There's lots nearby but it's a bit of a walk, and you cross a street that gets busy. Street parking exists if you can find a meter. Value 2/5. $50 with tip for two people. For the wait, the stomach issues, and those chairs, that felt like too much. Overall 2/5. Service was solid but it couldn't make up for the food problems and how uncomfortable the seating was. Not going back.

It was that good. The wedding ceremony took place outside, where rows of chairs were set up and we all had gorgeous waterfront views. After the ceremony, we walked into the building's first floor for the cocktail hour. Simply put, the food was amazing. The cocktail hour alone could have served as a meal. There was a big central charcuterie station of cold appetizers - think meats, cheeses, fruits, and crudities. The four corners of the room each housed a food station - a carving station, sushi/sashimi, pasta, and Asian stir fry. Oh, and there were tons of butler service passed hors oeuvres too. Next, we walked upstairs to the large ballroom for the main meal. Dinner service started with a "Burrata Caprese" salad with a big hunk of creamy mozzarella served in a dressed salad with grilled bread. As for the dinner entrees, would you believe a choice of SEVEN entrees?? I kid you not -- seven entrees - Branzino, chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, Surf and Turf, and eggplant. My table had just about all of the choices, and everything disappeared. After the meal, there was an apple tart with ice cream and wedding cake. All of the people I interacted with, the hosts, the bartenders, the servers and the clearers were super polite and friendly. When I think about the decor, the scenery, the food, and the service, this was a top-notch experience, Well done, Piermont.
