Prompt service and happy hour all night on Wednesdays! Select menu items + 10 dollar cocktails. This is definitely more of like a creative cocktail place so don't expect to see your average cocktails on the drink menu. Haven't tried the food here before but looking forward to it in the future.

Tired of ordering the same cocktail everywhere you go? This is the place to visit when you're ready to venture out. They offer a unique cocktail menu, and if the choices feel overwhelming, you can simply tell the bartender what you like, they'll craft something special just for you.

Amazing bar tenders! Really inventive cocktails, nice music. Bar food is ok, not bad. Recommend sitting at the bar or hanging out in the front area.

This location is not affiliated with the Astoria restaurant/bar of the same name which was a bit disappointing because I love the Astoria location. I had the last word cocktail with Mezcal instead of gin and it was really good especially with the burned lime garnish, nice touch. The beef croquettes were mediocre but the green sauce they came with quite good. The tuna tartar was ok and the Brussel sprouts very good. I enjoyed it overall and the service was kind, if not super attentive. Definitely seems to be more of a drinks place with a good weekday happy hour than a great dinner spot.

Highly recommend! The restaurant was cozy and had a warm feeling to it. The employees were all excellent and knowledgeable about the menu and the owner was always walking around introducing himself and asking if we need anything. The food was amazing! My favorite was the chicken wings but my fiancés favorite was the churros! It's in Huntington Village so it's nice to walk around before you stuff your face with all the delicious food! 10/10

Went here for my wife's birthday and it was amazing. The food was great! I felt like we were at a 5 star, "Food Network" quality restaurant. I had the Tile fish and my wife had the Duck. Both dishes were tasty and delightful. Our shareable's complimented our main course very well. (Stuffed clams and crab cakes) The service was excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable and guided us through their delectable dishes. The ambiance was perfect for our occasion and the cocktail were exquisite. We look forward to returning, to try more of their seafood selections.

A solid place to try many different, tasty bites! Came here with two friends on a Saturday night. The front of the restaurant was very loud and initially seemed like a bar, but the back had lots of seating. Our server was very nice and although we were initially not intending to drink, he mentioned that the place was "cocktail forward" several times so we ended up trying several, including a virgin one for my friend who is breast feeding, and we loved them all! For food, we tried so many items. Favorites included the: -thai crispy brussels: super crispy and fried perfectly, delicious glaze -fig toast: yummy combination of cheese, fig, prosciutto on toasted bread -ceviche: very refreshing, wish there was more corn and sweet potato in it -chicken taco: recommended by our waiter, wasn't expecting much but this was really tasty--chicken was juicy and seasoned very well -spanish egg--unique take on a scotch egg, the chorizo was a little undercooked but tasty nonetheless -octopus--very tender on a savory bed of beans that had soaked up the bacon flavor, reminded me a lot of southern collards/beans cooked with bacon -pork belly lettuce wraps--well marinated and juicy pork belly with tangy pickled onion and jalapeno, the spicy sesame aioli was super yum highly recommend!

We ignored this place for Many months post Covid -as the menu seemed to limited and not really what everyone prefers. There was some clear winners -such as the ceviche which was really one of the best had -full of flavor and fresh The "steak" bread bowl although it had tasty food of tomatoes and steak and red onions --in a sour dough bowl --it must have been good if you like that flavor. Quality was excellent But the winner was two things 1) service was impeccable 2) desert consisting of churro was probably the best we had -fresh and soft and hot Not to mention the drinks which were good This is a winner

Pisco Milk Punch (pisco infused with orange and cinnamon, lime, pineapple juice, absinthe and sugar). Like drinking faerie dust.

I've been wanting to try The Last Word, a newish Peruvian cocktails and tapas eaterie in Huntington Village, for awhile, and selected it for my birthday dinner. They have an absolutely amazing and creative cocktail menu; I started with Pisco Milk Punch (pisco infused with orange and cinnamon, lime, pineapple juice, absinthe and sugar). Like drinking faerie dust. My wife picked the The Best I Ever Had (gin, lime, matcha almond milk, pineapple juice, coconut cream and white cacao), served in a cat! Fish and shrimp ceviche was vibrant and bursting with lime and spice. Lomo saltado in a sourdough bread bowl was so yummy and savory, as was the arroz chaufa con chorizo, which we paired with a glass of malbec for her and rioja for me. The meal ended with their birthday gift of ridiculously yummy churros with ice cream and good coffee. Loved my experience here.

Delightful spot, perhaps more of a bar than restaurant, but the ceviche and jalea were impressive. I was originally just going to have water but then covered the pisco sour. The service was great. There were two small outdoor tables.

Recently this establishment has gotten even better with an improved decor, (they have brought over tables, chairs and other items from the recently closed Red Restaurant), adding a level of sophistication and charm. They have also improved the bar area as well. The menu now is larger and offers some of our favorites, and soon to be yours, from once sister restaurants Red and Osteria da Nino. All the food is outstanding as is the friendly attentive service of the servers. Today Monica and Kelly served us lunch and suggested the fried cheddar cheese curds to accompany our beers, a terrific choice- these are an adult version of fried cheese sticks. We had mentioned that we wanted to share both a Wedge Salad and a Philly cheese steak sandwich, to our surprise both came out thoughtfully divided equally to share making the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you are looking for a quick bit at the bar or a sit down meal this is a perfect choice.

The place itself is very nice and has a cool feel to it. It goes really far back and has two bars, with a little stage in the middle for local musicians and performers. In terms of the drinks they serve, they have a lot of good canned craft beer options (not sure what's on tap), that are served in a nice chilled glass. Their cocktails are very creative and taste delicious. My friends got an East meets West (Mezcal, mango puree, fresh lemon, basil simple syrup with tajin chili salt rim & basil leaf) and a Main Squeeze (Blood orange vodka, passion fruit nectar, aperol, elderflower liqueur, lime juice, thyme simple syrup topped with citrus foam & dried rose petals). The east meets west was really good, and the basil really complemented the mezcal in an unexpected way. The main squeeze was also really delicious and tasted like candy, except for a perplexing smokey aftertaste that we couldn't quite figure out. Overall though some very creative and potent cocktails that we definitely want to come back and try more of! My only issue was with how slow the service at the bar in the front was. I feel like those two cocktails shouldn't have taken 15 minutes to prepare (not an exaggeration). Maybe this is an issue with understaffing?

We came for after-dinner drinks and dessert, but none of us were in the mood for anything sweet, so we ordered the fried chicken instead. It was absolutely delicious, and the sauce that came with it? I could drink it by the glass. Three of us ordered the Smoked Old Fashioned, which is as much of a performance as a cocktail. Since it was the end of the evening, they only did the smoked enclosed glass presentation for two of the drinks, joking that we were probably over it for the third. That was a bit disappointing, but understandable given it was closing time. I'd love to come back and try their omakase.

So let's dive into the great and the questionable. The Great: Service, ambiance and food quality - they rotate the menu every month depending on the freshest ingredients and build a menu to honor and respect the Japanese cuisine. Truly a beautiful journey on each curated plate. Since they rotate out the menu what I tasted today will change so I won't go into each detail of the dish. The questionable: This is purely personal and from my perspective, please go and try this place out regardless. The booking is relatively easy on line through tock, the cost on the counter is $200 pp they will take on the 20% service fee so you can go and enjoy without having to think about the bill - which is nice ! But to me it's a bit non personal- I prefer to tip at the end depending on my experience as a whole. This is purely my preference as I do overtip. I ordered a drink as I didn't pre book the drink experience because I had a minor with me. Then I felt that I should overtip which I did when I paid for the drink. Let's talk about the menu- the food was truly amazing especially the ingredients but maybe it was this set of menu. It was composed of more soup/wet dishes than I would have liked. Perhaps August menu would be different. Overall I gave it 5 stars because I believed they uphold the traditional kaiseki tradition and respected each element presented. I will be coming back for the winter menu to see what they can create next!
