Our server was very patient and informative. I don't recall his name but he was tatted and handsome! All of the apps we ordered were delish. The crab cake and blue joint oysters were the stars for me. My wagyu filet was a perfect hot pink medium! My family also enjoyed all of the entrees and sides. Service was awful. Our server David was more attentive to all of the other tables than ours all night. Groups that sat after us were greeted, ordered drinks and food, and left well before us. He rarely came to the table to check in. He checked on the tables around us, but kept ignoring our table for some reason. 2/21/22. Great cocktail party (open bar) at Tellers Next Door. Apps were passed around (favorites were the tellers sliders, mini filet mignon wellingtons and shrimp/lobster wontons) along with 4 cocktail stations (antipasto, carving, Italian and Mediterranean) and a churro dessert station. Enjoyed the filet mignon, turkey, truffle gnocchi, meatballs, falafels, hummus and whipped feta. There were so many choices and everything was presented nicely. The one minor complaint I have is that the ice cream had no flavor. I would expect better quality from this higher end establishment. I have heard good things about this restaurant but it was my first time going this week during Restaurant Week (a great way to try different items). First off, the restaurant has a great upscale environment. For the meal, I had the shrimp/lobster wontons, the Filet Wellington and the chocolate sauced strawberries for dessert. I loved the Wellington! So delicious and cooked perfectly medium rare. The wontons were good too. We also got the scalloped Parmesan potato side, duck fries and banana pie. The potatoes were a bit undercooked but flavor was good. DEFINITELY get the banana pie it was 10/10! I also opted for the wine pairing with each dish and I highly recommend it. Tellers is one of my favorite places on Long Island! It's a beautiful steakhouse that used to be an old bank (hence the name, Tellers!) I've been here plenty of times for lunch and dinner but decided to try their new brunch menu this weekend. The meal started with complimentary cinnamon roll which was delicious. The texture was more danish/croissant-like than a traditional cinnamon roll but it was warm and fresh and served with an extra side of cream cheese frosting which was PERFECTLY sweet and tart. For mains, I got the short rib egg dish and my fiance got the biscuits and gravy. We also got a side of potatoes. Our mains were fantastic. The biscuits and gravy could've been warmer but I know it's very hard to keep that dish at the appropriate temperature. The short rib was cooked and seasoned perfectly! The home fries were unfortunately undercooked. We contemplated not telling the waiter about it but given brunch is a new offering and they are still working out the kinks, we decided to let the waitstaff know. The response was extremely polite, and the manager took the home fries off the bill. The service here was impeccable as always! I look forward to returning for brunch with friends and potentially taking advantage of their bottomless options. read more

We were a large party of 11 but we knew what we wanted and had to wait a very long time for our waitress to even order. Food took forever to come out. Tellers American Chophouse has a Power Lunch $29. You can add $10 for a Chardonnay or Red Blend. Didn't realize there was only 2 choices of $10 wine selection. I ordered Sauvignon Blanc. When bill arrived it was $17 per glass (Fernhook). We ordered the baked clams for appetizers. I had the chicken paillard and my friend ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Unfortunately, order was wrong. Spicy chicken sandwich was replaced with the Pastrami sandwich. I had to wait for the chicken paillard. Chicken was a little dry and needed seasoning. A lot of red onions in the salad. The Baked Clams were good but I remember them being much better in the past. The best part of the Power Lunch was sitting by the fireplace which was turned on. I've come here multiple times over the years. Usually excellent. A couple of years ago I came again for a work dinner. It didn't go as planned and we all avoided visiting again. Fast forward to recently. My husband, son and I came to give it another try. Our waitress was awesome. She was so sweet. They did not offer high chairs. First time that's ever happened and we have taken him to so many places. We had to be very quick since my 1 year old couldn't be trusted in a booth for too long. We ordered a skirt steak, bone in prime cowgirl ribeye, mash,creamed spinach and an espresso martini. My husband's steak and martini were very good. My skirt steak was pretty good. The loaf was delicious... might actually be the best bread I've ever had. For our entree, we got the porterhouse for 2, with fries and mac & cheese as our sides. The steak was amazing! Plus the side portions are huge, so we even had some left over. I would've loved to get dessert too, but we were so stuffed at the end that we had to pass. However, they brought over a small scoop of ice cream since it was my boyfriend's birthday. They even gave him a small gift card for his birthday, which was unexpected but so nice! Had a business dinner here last night. Slightly embarassed for my client who recommended the restaurant. Ambiance was nice. Salad and dessert were good. Steaks were small, and overpriced for the size, with questionable quality. At this price point for a filet, i would expect all 10 advertised ounces to be served. Maybe a lunch portion? Service was iffy. Having owned a steakhouse in the NYC area, I feel I am well versed on my steak sizes. I was craving a good pancake so I ordered the ricotta pancake you don't even need syrup the flavor is perfect! They also paired it with a house made vanilla whip cream this is all you need. My husband ordered the lobster huevos rancheros and he loved it, lobster was poached in butter(perfection). They offer endless mimosas and provide 3 different mixes, including orange juice and peach juice. I really like the peach juice flavor. We were celebrating a birthday and have not visited Tellers yet. We made a reservation and when we arrived were seated right away. Luke was our waiter and fantastic. He explained the menu, gave recommendations, and asked if we were celebrating anything. We started with the potato sesame loaf which was delicious but filling. For entrees we did the flounder oreganata (AMAZING), tellers Delmonico steak (also amazing), and some family style sides. These can easily be shared for 4 people. Burnt broccoli and max and cheese was delicious. The only thing we did not like was the "cheesy Tater tots" they were honestly more of a cheesy potato croquette, we were not a fan. As for dessert we were stuffed. But since they knew we were celebrating a birthday they brought out a scoop of ice cream with a candle. It was such a nice touch! Incredible experience here. I attended a private party hosted at this location with a prefix menu and open bar. This has to be one of the best meals I have ever had. The appetizer was a generous portion of pork belly served in a bbq sauce that was delightful, followed by the main corse filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. Swanky place in Babylon! If you're coming from the parking, there were two entrances, one of the entrances was for the banquet! Had a sophisticated feel inside! Came on a Tuesday night for my husband's bday and it was packed. Our waiter was very nice and attentive! We were with our bffs and everyone agreed that their food was delicious! My husband and I shared the steak and so did our friends and we all shared our sides of mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, fries and salad. Okay first thing first about tellers is you need to get a loaf of the bread it might be the best part of the meal followed by the lobster and shrimp wontons not a big seafood guy but the Flavor was hitting one thing I didn't like was the ketchup it's homemade not my thing had it with the fries very good and the double r filet is very good cooked to perfection the sides I've liked over the 3 times here are the whipped potatoes but no one makes them like my Irish mom and mac and cheese and to wash it down an espresso martini great place definitely check it out read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner here. One of the better places we've eaten, for sure. First, ambiance is nice and every single staff member was professional and friendly. Our server, Willie, was a delight. The food was very very good. J did the 3 course prix fixe and got the buratta, the steak frites and the juniors fudge layer cake for $65. I was a pain in the butt and ordered off the regular menu and got calamari, the cowgirl ribeye and sweet potatoes. The calamari were excellent- they were tossed with fried hot peppers and it was such a nice surprise. The calamari were well salted. The buratta was very very good but only came with literally a 3 inch piece of toast. It was Fantastic but for the size of the buratta, he needed another piece of bread. The buratta was nicely garnished and the cheese itself was flavorful. The sweet potato casserole is baby food texture. I enjoyed that because I gag if sweet potatoes are stringy. Husband did not appreciate the texture as much as I did. It was not very sweet, the homemade marshmallow was perfect, and overall and was a nice side dish and plenty for 2 people. J's steak frites were great. The marinated skirt steak was a hefty portion and well flavored. It was divided into 2 pieces- one was cooked correctly (he requested medium) and the other, fatter piece was barely medium rare. The duck fat fries were *chefs kiss* My ribeye was fine. It was cooked correctly and the bone marrow butter was fun. It was not the most tender cut of meat. I was stuffed and skipped dessert but the fudge layer cake was nicely presented and tasty, apparently. Now, the sordid topic of coin. It's expensive. You know that going in and just hope they're using top end ingredients to justify the cost. A few things are eye rollingly ridiculous though. If we had ordered the fudge cake on its own, without the prix fixe, it would have been $17. $17 for a slice of cake they don't make in-house. And I got a pomegranate lemonade off the mocktail menu for $12. It was mostly ice and probably amounted to less than 6 ounces of lemonade. But can only be mad at myself for ordering something so ridiculous. Ha. $196.61 before tip. Mostly justified, and a more than acceptable fancy date night. read more
