Stopped in for happy hour deals, 10-12 dollar pizza and 10 cocktails plus bites for 12 dollars. Overall a good deal. Cocktails were super original and delicious. The French fries on the side of the sliders were EXCEPTIONAL. Pizza was good, I wish it was crispier and I felt like the white pizza would have been better without the balsamic or needed truffle instead but overall great ambience and staff and good food.

I booked a reservation through OpenTable for 5:30 PM on November 30th, as I have done for the past three years during the Huntington town parade. My friend and I were seated, dining, and consuming drinks normally while our husbands and children marched. It was our expectation that they would join us at the table once the parade concluded, as they have in prior years. Without any prior notice or warning, we were abruptly presented with the bill. When we asked for clarification, we were told we had exceeded a "time limit." At no point--during the reservation process, at check-in, or while dining--were we ever informed of such a policy. No signage indicated a time-restricted seating policy, and no other tables were asked to leave despite having been seated for comparable or longer periods. When we asked to speak with a manager, the first manager approached us in a hostile and confrontational manner. He raised his voice, came uncomfortably close to our faces, and stated that we needed to leave immediately. He threatened to have us physically removed from the restaurant. His behavior was unprofessional, intimidating, and entirely unwarranted. Oddly, The selective enforcement of this supposed policy made us feel targeted and treated differently. No other tables were given the same treatment. We knew the other tables in the room from the community. A second manager (Rachel) later approached and reiterated the demand that we leave. She partially comped the bill after learning that my friend is a Paramount Founders Room Club member. While appreciated, this did not mitigate the inappropriate treatment or the discriminatory nature of how the situation was handled. There were no guests waiting for our table at the time. No one from LiveNation cares about this community. It's so different under this ownership.

What looks like a small space when you walk in, has so much space! It's a little dark and loud in here, but it's Huntington, so you've got to expect their restaurants mimic the awesome night life. Upon being seated we were asked for our drink orders. I instinctively ordered a cosmopolitan. It was delicious!! We ordered Nonna's meatballs and the zucchini zeppole. The meatballs were out of this world and tasted just like my dad's homemade. The recipe has got to be a family secret. The zucchini zeppole were mid at best. Not heavy on flavor and all around not worth it. The main event was the pizza. We got the dark side of the moon pizza. It was absolutely insane. The smoked duck paired so well with the caramelized onions. Not your average slice and it was impressive. This place is awesome and close to the paramount. I would totally come here again for dinner or before seeing a show!

This is based off one experience... We made a reservation on open table and when we got there they said they didn't have a tables available. They were having a party in the back. We ended up sitting in the bar area which worked out fine. Sitting our child in a high chair that didn't reach the table was fabulous haha. There were a couple other hiccups with our waiter (appetizer not coming out, thought a salad came with my meal but it didn't, didn't provide us with the brunch menu...maybe a few other things lol). But once again, there was a party going on and apparently they had new software??? But generally the service was good...the bartender was great -gave us a cup filled with oranges for our toddler, they worked as a team to keep our drinks filled and the food came out fast. The food was really tasty. The brunch pizza was good, my steak was very flavorful (at first I was mad because I thought it wasn't cooked medium as I asked but it was just an end piece I picked up first), the salsa verde was really good with a hint of spice, the eggs were fluffy, the meatballs were also very good (also a little spicy but even my toddler liked them). The mimosas and aperol spritz with brunch were good also. Didn't try any cocktails but they looked good as well. I would Ella's again!

Restaurant right on main drag near The Paramount on NY Ave. Interesting and creative menu. Many vegetarian options. Food was delicious, however my only complaint is that the portions are small for the price. I hadn't realized that it was tapas. Or as they say, "more money for smaller portions". That said, each of our dishes were excellent! Also annoying is having to pay for bread, which we did. Nothing extraordinary , essentially 2 slices of toasted bread for $5. Service was very good. Parking is on the street or in municipal lot a block away.one room is a bar with high top tables. Adjacent room has regular tables and nice environment .

Stopped in for some cocktails and small bites. Everything was great! I loved the cocktails. The bartender was super friendly. The food was so good. We sat at the bar and saw everyone else's food that they ordered and everything looked and smelled great. We definitely want to go back to try a full dinner there!

Possibly unpopular opinion (given all the 4 and 5 star reviews), but there is a real discrepancy/inconsistency with menu item prices at Ella's, hence the three stars. I'll start with the good/great - pizzas were spot on as was the chicken parm (which comes out plated and sliced like a pizza, except the chicken is the crust!). There are a lot of options to choose from and the combinations were an artisanal cut above your standard pizza joint. I'd have liked to see a buffalo or BBQ chicken personally but am not going to ding them for that as there were at least 10 varieties. There's an awesome woodsy smell that'll whisk you right into that ski lodge vibe, serving also as a reminder that all the pizzas (and some other menu options) are tastefully wood-fired. Bonus points for a creative selection of cocktails and a visual "rubric" so you get quick notes on each drink (e.g. main liquor, boozy, sweet, etc). Location can't be beat either, especially if you're catching a show at the Paramount, which is literally next door! My main critique is that portion to price ratio is way out of whack for some items. Particularly, the pinwheel lasagna (6 measly bites for $30) and the wings (6 segments - not full wings - for $17). Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable in suggesting things for us to try, but after it all, your best bang for the buck is definitely with their awesome pizzas - stick to those.

Food and ambiance were top notch, and service was excellent! Had a reservation for 6:30 and were seated right away. A waiter came to see us quickly and took our drink orders. Got our drinks quickly and ordered our food. Everything was timely and it made the experience pleasant. We had the baby kale caesar with steak which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Got the Seventy times 7 pizza which was so so good. Crust was perfect, sauce was perfect, burrata was amazing. Can't wait to come back and try more.

This is one slice of a gluten free "Anthem of the Sun." Its very fresh and delicious. Adding mushrooms would make it even better.

I went to Ella's last week, and the menu had been cut to one small page. This is because they are changing their whole menu. I assume this is because of the change in ownership for the whole Paramount complex, which was bought by LiveNation. I'm going to withhold final judgement until I experience the new menu. My wife and I are regular patrons of Ella's, because they used to serve the best gluten-free pizza in Long Island. But last week, although they still had GF pizza crust, they had removed their dairy free and vegetarian pizza options. We just left. Customers who have allergies will understand my disappointment. To be continued!

Really enjoyed this place! The food was slightly pricy, but in my opinion fairly priced for what you get. The menu was on the small side, which I enjoyed. I believe it was a new seasonal menu. The food was delicious and the servings were perfectly sized. The inside is upscale and comfortable. Only qualm was the service was a bit slow to receive our food despite the restaurant being rather empty. Staff are polite and attentive. Would definitely come back!

Went to Ella's with a couple of girlfriends. I've heard so much about this place so I was so excited to try it out! I think they recently changed their menu... it used to be family style and now it's regular plates. The drinks were very good... refreshing and I enjoyed the way they were listed on the menu. They explained the type of alcohol in the drink as well as the other ingredients. The food for me, was just mediocre for the price. The appetizers were definitely the best part. I got cacio e Pepe for my meal and it was with black pasta, not squid ink, just black pasta. I thought that was a bit strange. It was served with an egg on top so it made it creamy but it really was very bland other than that. My other friends got steak and another pasta, again, just OK. I most likely won't be back for the price point of these options. Our waitress was super nice though and very attentive. They also don't have any happy hour at their bar.

The place itself is very nice and has a cool feel to it. It goes really far back and has two bars, with a little stage in the middle for local musicians and performers. In terms of the drinks they serve, they have a lot of good canned craft beer options (not sure what's on tap), that are served in a nice chilled glass. Their cocktails are very creative and taste delicious. My friends got an East meets West (Mezcal, mango puree, fresh lemon, basil simple syrup with tajin chili salt rim & basil leaf) and a Main Squeeze (Blood orange vodka, passion fruit nectar, aperol, elderflower liqueur, lime juice, thyme simple syrup topped with citrus foam & dried rose petals). The east meets west was really good, and the basil really complemented the mezcal in an unexpected way. The main squeeze was also really delicious and tasted like candy, except for a perplexing smokey aftertaste that we couldn't quite figure out. Overall though some very creative and potent cocktails that we definitely want to come back and try more of! My only issue was with how slow the service at the bar in the front was. I feel like those two cocktails shouldn't have taken 15 minutes to prepare (not an exaggeration). Maybe this is an issue with understaffing?

If you're a…read moresushi aficionado like me, you've probably chased that elusive omakase experience where every bite feels like a revelation--fresh, innovative, and deeply respectful of tradition. House of Yoshin really delivered that. From the moment I stepped into this intimate, dimly lit haven on a crisp November evening, I knew I'd found a gem. We sat at the bar to wait for the preparations of the omakase table. They have a lot of interesting cocktails. Paloma is a must try. We kicked off with the Sake-Poached Oyster with Ponzu, a delicate opener that set the tone for elegance. The oyster, sourced that morning from pristine waters, arrived plump and silky, gently poached in sake until it surrendered its natural sweetness without losing its oceanic snap. A drizzle of citrusy ponzu cut through just enough, while flecks of menma (fermented bamboo) added a whisper of umami crunch. It was like the sea whispering secrets--light, refreshing, and utterly addictive. I could have stopped here and been happy, but oh no, the parade had just begun. The Chilean sea bass was also a hit. Soft, tender, and flavorful. Every bite was a joy As we prepared for the nigiri, the staff offered us sake pairings with each one. They really knew which ones paired best with each piece. When the sashimi came out, it was practically a love letter to the sea. The Tai (red snapper) sashimi was feather-light, its translucent slices fanning out like rose petals, dressed simply with soy and ginger to let the clean, sweet flesh shine. Then came the Amberjack (Kanpachi), lean and velvety, with a faint wasabi kick that made my eyes water in the best way. Striped Bass (Suzuki) brought a firmer texture, almost melon-like in its subtle sweetness, while the Golden Eye Snapper (Kawahagi) was a revelation--tiny, jewel-like cubes that melted faster than snow, with a hint of sea salt crystals for that perfect salinity pop. One of my favorites was the Ootoro. The texture was literally perfect and the piece just melted in your mouth. It was delightful. I also enjoyed the tune belly hand roll and te Uni Ukura Don. Just when I thought I couldn't take another bite, dessert arrived: Green Tea Creme Brulee. This wasn't your standard custard; it was a silky, matcha-infused cloud, torched tableside for that satisfying crackle. The bitter-earthy notes of premium matcha played against the caramelized sugar like yin and yang, with a hidden layer of white chocolate ganache for subtle sweetness. If you are considering this place, book it now! Five stars aren't enough; this place deserves a constellation.

Since it was the end of the evening, they only did the smoked enclosed glass presentation for two of the drinks, joking that we were probably over it for the third. That was a bit disappointing, but understandable given it was closing time. I'd love to come back and try their omakase.

This Yelp however is about the place to pregame before the show and since I am unfamiliar with the area, I had to ask friends who have been there often what the available options were for me to explore. The biggest recommendation was the bar a few doors down from The Paramount Theater called Huntington Village Tavern. So far I have been here twice and since I don't know when I will be in the area again I wanted to Yelp something up. Spatially speaking the bar is nicely laid out. You have some hightop tables at the front of the big bay window that looks out onto the avenue, the main bar (which is rather long) and a back area that I think houses a pool table. I didn't go back there so am not 100% sure. Now my standard fare at a bar is a couple of pints of beer and not much else. I am not a spirits guy but the tavern appeared to be stockpiled with all of the needed good stuff for the customer who requires that. There is no food being served at the bar, but they allow you to bring in stuff to eat and right near by is pizza, some burgers and a wonderful Spanish food place. I went to that last one but that it for a Yelp of its own. The bar staff was congenial and served my party their drinks nice and fast. This was great since the time frame that I had to get into the show was not really much. I had a WiFi signal when I was in there so am assuming it was theirs but I cannot confirm that this is the case. I will definitely go back there should I be planning on an event at the Paramount.
