The hostesses were super friendly at the front desk and they had their hands full with the Sunday crowd. Once we were seated our server Jason(I think) did an absolutely exceptional job taking care of us throughout our leisurely lunch that started with the Triple Dip. Two of us ordered FD's Trio that included grilled, fried and crab stuffed shrimp, and I added some salmon to feel healthy. Our other party members had the chicken tenders and Hawaiian Chicken. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and again our server kept our drinks full and lots of fun banter. Menu prices are very reasonable as well. As far as ambiance and decor, honestly nothing really stands out. The dining rooms are nice and have lots of light. Unfortunately it's really noisy with a big crowd. The parking lot was crazy tight as it shares one with the next door Texas Road House, which we don't prefer. Overall, an excellent experience and it's definitely a new repeater for us.

We were pretty much immediately greeted and told that we can sit where we'd like. We found a table and had a seat. The waitress took our drink order and went to go do her thing. Maybe 10 or 15 minutes later she came back with our drinks at last. I always hate eating dinner at places that are primarily a bar because the service is usually terrible and that's pretty much how it went with our visit. 45 minutes after ordering our food , we were still waiting on it, even our appetizer, and our drinks were in a constant state of needing a refill with the waitress nowhere to be found. I planned to have a couple mixed drinks while I was there, to try some different things, so they literally lost money by not coming back to the table to check on us. I didn't have the opportunity to order more drinks. The food finally arrived. My sad potato with chicken was nothing special and was pretty small for the price. My husband didn't like his food. I can't recall what he got. The manager was nice when he swung by, but by the time he came, the damage was already done. The whole visit was disappointing. We won't be back. This place really hasn't changed from what it was before they changed names and ownership. It was disappointing before and it remains so.

It was large portions! I got the chili cheese fries, per his recommendation! It was very good! I got it without a lot of the toppings it comes with and got sour cream and a boo sauce they make in shop that he recommended with it! It went very well! It was very filling! The chili was also very good! I had heard their chili was different than others, so I asked if it was different and he gave us a sample to try! It was normal to me, it does have beans and meat in it, if you're against either one of those in your chili! We also got fried pickles as an appetizer, my husband normally does not like fried pickles but he LOVED these, and said they were the best he's ever had and I love fried pickles and I would probably have to agree with him!! They were delicious, good ratio and I would get them again. For the price it was worth it to us! My husband and I have been to about 4 Big Biscuits now, and we have loved everyone until we walked into this one... we walked in with 2 people and were told a 30-minute wait, which is to be expected on a Sunday at 11 am. We were just enjoying our trip to Springfield, and we're excited to find one in the Springfield area. As we were sitting and talking, we noticed that groups of 6;4;3 were being seated immediately. We were confused a bit because there were just 2 of us. We were waiting outside right next to a 2-person table that was cleared off outside. so my husband goes, "I'll go tell the host that we don't mind sitting outside. Maybe that's what the issue was." So he goes in to tell the host, and the host responds with "there are 4 people still in front of you. " we say okay and sit back down to wait patiently. As we are finally called 40 minutes later, we are sitting at the exact table we had been staring at empty for 40 minutes waiting for a table.. this was extremely irritating. We thought well let's just be glad we are sat and look at the menu. We picked out what we wanted and continued our conversation, waiting on the waitress that never came. We watched as she greeted a table of 4 and a table of 6 and took their drinks, then came back and took their orders, then turned around and walked back inside, making us feel ignored. We sat for a good 20 minutes with not a single acknowledgment. We ended up leaving and can't say we will be back. read more

Me and my husband went there Friday morning and the service was terrible. We sat at the table and waited about 10 minutes but still, no one came around and asked us what we wanted to drink. After waiting about a couple more minutes my husband flagged somebody and asked her if we could get some service. She acts like she does not know what is going on. Finally, we ordered the food but the server never came around and asked us how we were doing. So I asked her if I could talk to the manager and she said the manager was busy.
