I am going on a mission to try new spots for breakfast and hit up Ziggie's today. The service was good and the food was tasty and ready quickly. I enjoyed chicken and waffles, coffee and I really liked the fluffy waffle and delicious juicy chicken tenders. I was able to sample their pancakes and they are homemade and really flavorful. They make a delicious Denver omelet and hashed brown potatoes as well, sampled.

After attending a funeral, our group of about 20 family members needed a quiet place to gather and unwind, so we headed to Ziggie's. We had reserved their spacious private room in the back, which easily accommodates 30-40 people--plenty of room for everyone to sit comfortably without feeling crowded. The setup was ideal for our needs, offering a bit of seclusion during an emotional day. The staff couldn't have been friendlier; they handled our large party with genuine warmth and efficiency, making sure drinks were refilled promptly and orders came out hot. I ordered the Pork Tenderloin with mashed potatoes and gravy, accompanied by a side salad. The pork was spot-on--tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly without being dry. The mashed potatoes were smooth and hearty, complemented by rich gravy that elevated the whole dish. We kicked things off with the Texas Fry appetizer, piled high with crispy bacon and melted cheese; it was indulgent and satisfying, just the kind of comfort food we craved. All in all, Ziggie's delivered solid Midwestern fare in a welcoming spot with excellent prices. If you're hosting a group event, even under tough circumstances, this place hits the mark. Would definitely return.

Plates 1 of the best Walleye you will ever eat outside of Minnesota or Canada. Awesome. Get here soon

STOP WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING! Jump, walk, swim or fly here immediately. Leaping lizards - I have found the Mother of All Friday Night AYCE Fish Fries!! This is not your usual generic, wore out Southern Catfish Fry (a fine treat but...). It's Friday and Ziggie's is offering AYCE Walleye. Walleye? Are you kidding me? Typically I have to to Minnesota or Canada (called Pickerel up North, eh?) to just hear a story about this marvelous treat. Walleye, IMHO, has a firm, white flesh that is as sweet as maple syrup (ok, exaggerating) but it makes Cafish/Tilapia taste like used motor Ziggie's presents their Walleye as 2 enormous filets, lightly breaded in a delicate batter resembling Panko coating. The chefs in the back cook it just right - beautiful to look at amd even better to taste. Each bite melts in your mouth with a subtle hint of brown sugar and butter but that's just how Walleye taste to me. These people do it RIGHT! I wanted to write this earlier but I could not stop wolfing these slabs of friend goodness long enough to write. I have demolished a small school of fish now, so wanted to share. They close at 2030 hours (8:30 PM). I have no idea if this is a daily/seasonal thing. Apologies. If their sign shows AYCE Walleye, turn in immediately and strap on a feed bag. This meal is not for the faint of heart. If you are novice fish fry beginner or an accomplished gourmand - you can thank me later by visiting. P.S. they have proper malt vinegar, homemade coleslaw that will make ur heart skip a beat, and homemade tartar sauce. Excuse me, going to try the Pecan Pie. Stop in for yourself. I'm coming back for breakfast - that is epic as well.

This place is hit miss as far as quality of food. I do enjoy the gyro as shown in pictures. They just did put much in it, so that was disappointing. The service staff also can be very rude, so be prepared.

    NOT real butter!

Before you even walk in the building looks amazing, it's more spacious in the inside than it looks on the outside. Big open space and a little shop and showcased so many great items. There was jazz music playing and everything just felt cozy. Also it might sound weird but go use the restrooms! They look fantastic and will give you many ideas just for decorating. The food was delicious I had gotten the S'mores Iced Latte, Caprese Toast and shared Berries & Cream Pancakes. You might say wow $14 for some Caprese Toast but it was so filling you really don't need anything else. Everything was reasonably priced due to how elegant and delicious the food was. The service was really quick and it was fairly busy the food was hot and everything tasted really fresh. The people were very kind and helpful with any questions. The service was very professional and enjoyable!

Nothing special. Dry. Just not a good menu item. To the owners if they read this: The place is too nice to have counter service to order. Both times I've been here, it is always backed up and takes a good while to order. We were the 3rd group back last night. Parties of 2, each group was. And it takes too long. To end on a positive note: the place is neat and always great to have people revitalize an old building in our town.

Unfortunately, I left disappointed because the food quality just wasn't what I remembered. I had been telling my wife how great the food used to be--almost like gourmet bar food--and was really looking forward to sharing that experience with her. The smash burger no longer tasted like the duck-fat burger I remembered, and the fries definitely didn't seem to be house-made anymore. They tasted more like a lower-quality frozen product, which was a letdown. On the positive side, the service was excellent. Even with the restaurant getting busy and a live band setting up, the staff stayed friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. One thing to note is that we initially arrived around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, only to find out they weren't open and was told that something came up and they didnt open until 3:00 p.m. on this Sunday. Overall, I still enjoyed the atmosphere and appreciate the great service, but I hope the kitchen can get back to the food quality that made Lindberg's one of my favorite spots in the past.

It is not every day that one has the good fortune to encounter a proper establishment in which the atmosphere, the company, and the meal all combine so agreeably, but Jimms most certainly provided such an occasion. Upon entering, I was immediately pleased by the character of the establishment. There is something wonderfully comforting about a steakhouse and pub that possesses a sense of occasion without becoming tiresome or pretentious. One may settle oneself comfortably, converse at leisure, and look forward to a proper meal with the agreeable certainty that one has made a very sound decision indeed. Now, to the principal matter at hand: the food. I had the distinct pleasure of ordering the prime rib, and I can say without the slightest hesitation that I thoroughly, wholeheartedly, and almost embarrassingly enjoyed it. It was an absolute triumph. The sort of dish that arrives at the table and immediately commands one's attention, rendering all conversation temporarily secondary. The prime rib was wonderfully prepared, exceedingly satisfying, and possessed that magnificent quality which makes one pause between bites simply to appreciate what one has been fortunate enough to receive. Every bite was an absolute pleasure. The meat was tender, beautifully cooked, rich in flavour, and possessed precisely the hearty savoury character one hopes to encounter when ordering a proper piece of beef. It was indulgent without becoming excessive, substantial without being tiresome, and sufficiently splendid that I found myself wishing the portion might somehow defy the ordinary laws of appetite. Had the laws of polite society permitted me to continue eating indefinitely, I suspect I should have made a valiant attempt. The other gentleman in our party selected the New York strip steak, and I am delighted to report that his experience was equally successful. He thoroughly enjoyed his steak and spoke very highly of it throughout the meal. From what I observed, it was an exceedingly handsome specimen of beef, prepared with considerable care and possessing precisely the robust character one expects from a fine New York strip. There is something particularly gratifying about dining with companions when everyone at the table receives precisely what they had hoped for. No disappointed faces, no regrettable selections, and no solemn contemplation of the menu wondering where it all went wrong. Rather, we found ourselves enjoying our respective steaks immensely and exchanging the occasional approving remark between bites, which, in my estimation, is a rather reliable indication that the kitchen has done its duty admirably. Indeed, the meal was sufficiently good that one rather loses track of time. The conversation continues, the plates gradually empty, and before one knows it, one is sitting there contemplating whether ordering another course would constitute gluttony or merely demonstrate excellent judgement. I shall leave that philosophical question to wiser men, but I will say that Jimms certainly inspired the temptation. The entire experience had the pleasant quality of an evening one might very much wish to prolong, preferably with another glass of something agreeable and perhaps another helping, should one's dignity permit such extravagance. There are establishments where one eats because one is hungry, and there are establishments where one eats because the food itself becomes part of the evening. Jimms belongs firmly in the latter category. I should also commend the overall atmosphere. Jimms Steakhouse and Pub has that wonderfully comfortable quality which makes a meal feel like an occasion rather than merely an exercise in acquiring nourishment. It is the sort of place where one can settle in, enjoy one's company, take one's time over a proper meal, and allow the evening to unfold without feeling hurried. That quality is increasingly rare and, in my opinion, deserves considerable appreciation. Our meal was hearty, satisfying, memorable, and thoroughly enjoyable. The prime rib alone would have been sufficient reason for me to leave a favourable review, but the excellent New York strip enjoyed by my companion, coupled with the pleasant surroundings and the general success of the evening, made the occasion all the more worthwhile. I departed feeling exceedingly content, which is surely one of the highest compliments a restaurant can receive. There is a particular satisfaction in leaving a dining establishment with the firm conviction that the money spent, the time taken, and the appetite expended have all been put to excellent use. Such was precisely the case here. Would I return? Without question. Would I recommend Jimms? Most certainly.
