I ordered two of everything and it was very fun to experiment with the differences of the oysters from both coasts, and I ended up becoming a big fan of east Coast Bluepoint oysters. However, they were all extremely fantastic and very fresh. The oyster shucker was extremely talented and preserved the liquid within the shells perfectly. I was unable to find one shelf fragment in any of my oysters, which is unbelievable. As my main course, I ordered nothing but appetizers because they all look fantastic. I ordered the steak tartare and the escargot and both were unbelievably good. The rest of my five table mates ordered their meals, ranging from fish to filet mignon, and they all raved about their food and finished their complete plates. I remember the food quality being good at this location in years past, but this time it really stood out and we now regard this as the best restaurant in Springfield, hands-down.
