Roast beef salad, great flavor and size, some of the roast beef were very chewy... but still tasty.

This place is gorgeous, downtown style red brick building with all the nostalgia and decor of a very old place, immediate service and great menu, great beer selection and awesome drinks, food came out fast even though we were there on a Saturday, overall a great experience

A spacious tavern features a decorative tin ceiling, a bar with arched mirrors, and seating near large front windows, with patrons and a staff member present.

Wonderful atmosphere and adventurous food choices. We stopped here on the way through and they did not disappoint. The service was wonderful and the food arrived quickly and was delicious.

Got the House Smash Burger, ordered it with an egg. It was amazing! Fries are great, house made ketchup and ranch is great. Service was amazing, our waitress was really nice. Went during lunch time but I'm sure the atmosphere is even better at night!

I would actually give it a 3.5. The vibe is cool - old place with eclectic decor. Tunes playing, but not overly loud. We were seated right away on a Friday afternoon. I really liked my beer battered shrimp tacos! The fries that came with them were okay. My husband did not enjoy his Cuban sandwich. He said the mustard and picked were the only flavor and the pork belly and smoked pulled pork were flavorless. Our service was lackadaisical.

Great experience! The bar seating was comfortable and service was great. Our burgers were absolutely delicious. My husband still hasn't shut up about the Dubliner and how good it was. We got the bread pudding to go--maybe we should've eaten it there while it was hot, but it was a bit disappointing. Worth noting, check their event schedule on Facebook before going. They often have bands with a cover charge.

I was staying overnight in Springfield and was looking for a spot to grab dinner. Of course I turned to Yelp and Lindbergs Tavern popped up. It's located in the historic area of Springfield. Lindberghs isn't much to look at--more bar than restaurant. While the bar wasn't hopping on a Sunday evening, the patio and food were buzzing. I opted for the turkey club and fries. The turkey club was served warm and was incredibly delicious. The portions were large--more than I could finish. And the price was incredibly reasonable. The only reason I Lindberghs four stars instead of five was because of service. I'm not sure if they typically have servers in addition to the bartenders, but these two were definitely overwhelmed.

Fun atmosphere with fun story. Good selection of tap beers and the menu was better than most bar food. We came for lunch but it looks like a fun place for the live band scene. I'm the historic "C" street area there is lots to se in the area. Service was great. The waitstaff and bartender were friendly and efficient. Come for the fun have a beer and eat some delicious food.

By all accounts, this was probably too much food but for the price it was an absolute bargain! This plate was loaded with so much flavor I forgot that I was sitting in the corner of a parking lot. Eating in a wing back chair, at some odd table, isn't well suited for dining. But, sure looks neat. The food is ok to good: Burger : The burger was really good. Has some jam sauce on it which really works. Beef has a good flavor. The bacon was very good. . Potato soup: The soup is good....but needed far greater seasoning to have it be great. Pork Wings: Again, needed more seasoning to elevate the pork. And the dipping sauces were a bit unusual. And the Asian style sauce - by gosh did it have a ton of saffron. Patagonia side item: These potato chunks weren't much. Potatoes were nothing special, under seasoned and the dipping sauce was unusual. And so much saffron, it was way overpowering. . Is it worth going to - absolutely and the place is neat. But I give an extra 1/2 to 1 star more, just because of the neatness of the place.

I really wanted to like The Table…read more The space itself is absolutely beautiful -- one of the best dining rooms in Springfield -- and it feels like the kind of place that should deliver a more elevated, full-service experience. That's part of what made the counter-service model feel a little out of sync with the atmosphere. We first tried visiting as a group of about 12 on a Saturday around 7 PM. I had called ahead and was told they don't take reservations, so we planned accordingly. When we arrived, we were told there wasn't any way to accommodate our group together -- not even the option to wait for space to open up -- so we ended up going elsewhere. I did come back later with a smaller group for lunch. The experience was better logistically, but still a bit disjointed. The menu felt somewhat scattered, and while we were able to find seating at a communal table, the overall flow felt a bit chaotic. After ordering at the counter, the wait for food was quite long -- around 45 minutes or more -- which gave us plenty of time to observe how things were running. Toward the end, I noticed tables being marked as unavailable/reserved, which made me wonder why a similar approach couldn't have worked for larger groups earlier. When the food arrived, it was good -- nothing wrong with it -- but not especially memorable, especially considering the wait and price point. There's a lot to like here, especially the space and overall concept, but the execution didn't quite match the expectations for me. I do think with some adjustments to service flow and consistency, this could be a much stronger experience.

I ordered from their fall menu and it was a pasta dish with butternut squash in it. It came out hot and well presented but as you dug in the overwhelming salt taste just coated my tongue. 5-6 bites in and I couldn't eat anymore. The salt was too overwhelming. The waitress tried to find out if they "added" salt but the cook staff said they didn't. I then decided on a salad since I still couldn't get the taste of salt out of my mouth. One sweet tea down and still can taste the salt. Actually as I'm writing this I can still taste the salt. It was that overwhelming. The salad comes out and I dig in, I'm starving it's been a long tedious day. I start seeing brown wilted lettuce and not just one piece but several. At this point I've had it. The waitress comes by and I show her the salad she takes it back and her manager comes over. Now this is where it gets good. Her excuse "we handle a lot of salad in one day". I told her I would have understood a piece or two but not the quarter of the salad I just dug into all being brown and wilted. I think you and your staff should be able to see if the salad is going bad and not serve it to your customers. I also told her the pasta dish was overwhelmingly salty. She had a horrible attitude. I prefer to write good reviews but this one I just couldn't let it pass. Beware of eating here unless they get a new manager and cooks.
