Uncle Cheese and hashbrowns early bird style
Heather H.

Recommended by a local. We got there a little later in the morning. Therefore, we had a 30-40 min wait. No problem! Grab a pitcher of Mimosas and stand outside to enjoy the great day. Our waitress was great and responsive. We got the Breakfast Sandwich, Eggs and Chorizo and Uncle Cheese. The garlic parmesan sour dough bread really set off the Uncle Chesse. I will say if you are a cheese freak like me, ask for extra cheese. Both sandwiches were delicious. The Chorizo had good spice and not too greasy. I definitely recommend Early Bird style on anything. The sweet potato nuggets were really sweet and crispy... very good. There are lots of options on the menu and everything looked intriguing. I would recommend giving it a try.

Food was REALLY GOOD unique dishes and alcoholic drink choices. It's a low lit restaurant with a full bar. Pop music playing very low not loud, good atmosphere Kid friendly I would say, prices are high but worth it for the experience and flavor

Great service. Mediocre food. Ordered a side of hash browns and a side of biscuits & gravy. Not as good as they used to be...biscuits were dry and flavorless and the gravy was extremely bland. Perhaps they had the "B" team this morning and have the "A" team on the weekends???

Food is really good here, especially for the price! All the food pictured was GREAT. My friends really like their Bloody Mary and the Morning mover hit the spot. Service was a little rough since the restaurant was busy. Our tickets were wrong, which was fixed after asking. Also, we asked for a game on the tv by us and they said somebody stole the remote ‍

The spicy omelet, fruit instead of bread and sweet potato tots

What a fun place! I was actually on town working, so I had my laptop with me, I was offered alcohol from the get, but she immediately recognized I was probably working. My server helped me with the order to get a delightful spicy omelet with lots of protein. Trying to eat low carb was hard here when all you can smell are tots. I ate them and I loved them. The vibe was the best part. I felt like I was hanging out in a pub, but it was 7 am and there were plenty of people around. Definitely a comeback when I'm in town next!

The eggs Atlantis, could really use some caper berries!

So it's early but a Bloody Mary and eggs sounds good? Head over to the early bird! Wide variety of breakfast foods and good ingredients! Oh and they have a few darker beers at the bar instead of all IPAs

Definitely eat here!!! From the prompt & friendly staff, to the genius business model, to the delicious menu options - great place to eat!! I absolutely loved every part of my meal: breakfast taco w/ chorizo w/ a side of biscuit & gravy. Oh - be warned: pancakes are huge (but do not let that stop you from grabbing an extra - ya gotta eat tomorrow!!!)

Cardinal bird's nest

Did a quick reasearch on best breakfast restaurant in the area and Early Bird Breakfast pub was in the top 5 that popped up. It's a hidden gem and a great spot to enjoy an amazing meal. The menu offers a lot of vegetarian options, which made choosing one really hard. The servings were all extremely generous and everything was delicious and flavorful! I saw the pictures online and had to try one of their Bird's nest, a series of ingredients served on a puff pastry shell. I ordered a Cardinal Bird's Nest. It came with two eggs (I ordered them over easy), red pepper , red onion, spinach, Parmesan, and a choice of hash browns or sweet potato nuggets, I went with the sweet potato nuggs. It was amazing!! I ordered a pineapple mimosa to enjoy my brunch, the pour was very generous. Their service was fast and the staff extremely friendly. The location is very spacious and has a ton of parking space. Overall an absolutely fantastic experience!

This a wonderful breakfast bar with great food and service. They have a really nice selection of unique breakfast items and everything I've tried has been terrific! I love sitting at the bar and enjoying the show!

This place is very different from other breakfast joint. More retro and rock, a little dimmer but really chillax. Everyone is very nice here and very attentive. The menu was a bit confusing, but I did figure out what I want so wasn't bad. The food didn't take long to come out, all was very hot. My country fried steak tastes amazing, very crunchy and juicy which was great. We also got eggs benedict, that's was super good. Creamy milk egg, made to perfect the ham and bread. My daughter have a breakfast club with french toast bread and she love it a lot. My other daughter got 2 pancakes, let's say it was big and fluffy and crispy around the edge. The portion we was huge and we manage to finish 90%. It was really amazing. Love to try local restaurant, and this place was recommended by my client. Awesome food, vibes and people. Will come back and try their robin eggs and many more.

Corn beef and eggs. Delicious!

Quaint little place for breakfast, and the servings are huge. A bit loud and always busy, but worth it.

Atmosphere was good but food just OK and pricey. The Reuben had an odd taste ... not like corned beef.

LOUD AF on a Tuesday night with incredibly slow service…read more I like to eat in local places while we're on the road. Read about this place being historic with a beautiful bar and lovely tin ceiling. And that is all true. Walked in and could not believe how loud the single singer with an acoustic guitar was. There was a sound engineer, working a board, so he must've thought that level was OK. But you could not have a conversation at all. I was wishing for earplugs. When we first stepped in, I considered just looking at the carved mahogany bar and going somewhere else. But, we figured it should be fast and we could endure the cacophony for a short time. We were so wrong about it being fast. There was only one wait staff working that night, and she was also behind the bar. When she finally moseys over to us, she admitted she had forgotten all about us. She then took our drink order, and the drinks came quickly. But then she literally never came back to take a food order. Watched her go to all the other tables, watched her clean off the bar, watched her answer a phone call for a takeout order, and then I finally went up to the bar and asked her if we could put in a food order. Once the food was ordered it came out quickly. My husband's smashburger and candied pecan salad were both really delicious. I am a sucker for a local food item whenever I see it on the menu, and I made the mistake of ordering the cashew chicken poutine. The cashew sauce had zero flavor and was just overly salty. The chicken was fried very tough. At least the cheese curds were good. But I barely ate any of it. Nothing but regret about this choice.

If you're on the hunt for the best Scotch eggs around, this place is an absolute must. We…read moreunexpectedly went on a scotch egg tour this week. I will not drag the competition, but Dublin's Pass was the clear winner. I won't use specifics, but you get so much more bang for your buck, purely from a financial aspect. Let me first say, the eggs arrive on a plate with a light breading that adds the perfect balance of crunch yet balanced with the soft egg. All brought to you with a mustard that is the perfect combination of pickled veg and punchy mustard. The meat was cooked perfectly. The combination between the meat, egg and mustard marry one another beautifully to lend to a flavor roller coaster in your mouth. What really sets these Scotch eggs apart is the attention to detail. They taste like they are meant for a flavor rollercoaster. Each element feels intentional. Whether you're a longtime Scotch egg lover or trying one for the first time, this restaurant sets the bar high. Simply put: these are the Scotch eggs other places should be aspiring. Eggs aside, we also had an order of the boneless wings. Not a hard thing to get right, but we had roasted garlic parmesan with garlic aioli, to die for. I am from out of town, and this place is absolutely a must. It will never not be on to do list.

Right off the bat, I was greeted by very friendly staff who were keeping busy during the slow opening hour by watering plants or restocking the bar. I decided to head to the bar backed by the very friendly Karlie. Started off with the Scottish eggs, and they came out piping hot and fresh with a side of spicy mustard. The combination of savory sausage flavor, sweetness of the deviled egg, and a dab of spicy mustard made these starters absolutely worth the choice but could almost be a meal itself! Going further along with the Irish setting, I also went with the original cottage pie, loaded of course, and hands down it's the best pie I've had. The beef, gravy, vegetables, and potatoes added with the garlic mashed potatoes and pie crust was absolute bliss. Again, piping hot from the oven with that perfect mix of soft and crunch from the crust was perfection comfort food. Paired with a Guinness, this is as close to heaven as one can get during work's hour lunch break. The bar area started filling up with the lunch crowd towards the end, but Karlie expertly managed all of it with ease, remaining attentive to the gathering crowd while multitasking between taking food orders and serving as well as bartending. This masterful combination of service, atmosphere, and great food is hard to find around Springfield, but Dublin Pass nailed it while making it look easy, making them a highly suggested stop.
