After returning from a trip to Ireland, we were wanting to find somewhere that would remind us of our trip. We found someplace that the only missing the smell of peat burning in the fireplace. I had fish and chips and a cold Guinness. Fish was really good and you can't beat a Guinness. My wife had the Reuben Egg Rolls and loved them. It came out quickly and our waitress was very helpful. Great place, great food, great service read more

We had a really good experience here. I have eaten at the location on Battlefield several times, but this was my first time downtown. The menu offerings are unique, the food comes out quick, and the food is always delicious. This location is definitely more of a bar vibe than the other location. Still great food and service! read more

Ordered a lemon drop martini. They must've put soda water or sprite in it. I can't have carbonation of any kind because of stomach issues. Within an hour of drinking my martini, I was doubled over in incredible pain feeling like my stomach was going to explode from carbonation! It ruined my night. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. When we walked in though, we couldn't sit on one side of the bar because there was a woman on the floor scrubbing the baseboard of the bar. Great for cleanliness but weird for 8:30 on a Saturday night! read more

The last time I was there at the one downtown I was very disappointed. Was not at all the same as I had remembered before & the waitress said they no longer served the Irish food. What's up with that? read more

NOT your ordinary sports bar food!!! Spectacular food. Great environment Great service ! read more

Service not good, very slow and we were the only ones there eating late at night. Saw the waitress sitting talking with friends and eating herself. Food also not good. Everything tasted very dried out and bland. The churro fries were the best part, those were good. The over priced float also wasn't very good. Wouldn't eat here again. One plus was the little arcade inside, that was cute. This place probably is better as a bar than a restaurant. read more

Disappointed. Went there last night for St Patrick's Day. Waited 10 minutes by the door while there were numerous empty tables. Finally asked if we could seat ourselves by the bar. Customer next to us asked for a Shepards Pie and they said they could not do that as their oven was not operable. Then, the breaker in the other room went out and there was no power in two room of the restaurant. They were also playing rock music. Not what I expected for an Irish Pub on St Patrick's Day. Will definitely find another pub for next year. read more

Disappointing, I ordered food for delivery. The fried cheese curds were hard not melty. The Deluxe burger with thousand island dressing was lukewarm, dry and bland, with an unpleasant after taste, the fish whaler sandwich was unimpressive and bland tasting but edible. Lastly, the French fries cold, thin sliced bland, unappealing. Overall a sad overpriced experience. I now wish I had ordered from Mickey D's at less than half the cost of this unappetizing fiasco. The accompanying side sauces were okay, but nothing outstanding. I'm sad to say. This review is for those items only, perhaps other menu items are better and worth the high cost. read more

The smash burgers were great along with their fabulous French fries! Service was excellent also. Would definitely recommend.

Service wasn't great and we were 1 of 4 families in there. The server seemed to be eating at the bar with another coworker rather than focusing on giving the best service. The food was pretty decent. We recommend the Rueben Rolls. There pertions are decently large so that's a plus. Enjoyed the sports on tv and the style of the restaurant was great for the weekend shenanigans. read more

So good!!! Nice atmosphere. Service was a little slow, but we were in no hurry so I didn't mind. The food was pretty darn good. I had the fish & chips and they were great! read more

The Service was great! Madeleine "Maddie" was our Server and she was PHENOMENAL! Her recommendation for the Guinness and Chocolate was quite tasty. Also, she brought us samples of the Frozen Rose' and Frozen Irish Coffee. Both were yummy, but ended our evening with the Frozen Irish Coffee. There are so many items on the menu we want to try, so I know we will be frequently going here. Tonight, we pretty much had appetizers for dinner. The Reuben Egg-roll and Truffle Fries are hard to beat. Happy Hour is great! We also found out one can order the Frozen drinks to go if purchasing food through the drive-thru! Overall, this place rocks! I'm so glad we have this Establishment on our side of town!!! read more

Just opened. Like the look. Glad to have an option on this side of town. The menu is great and matches downtown. Great happy hour discounts from 4 to 6 pm M to F. Hours Monday to Friday 11 am to 11 pm Saturday and Sunday 11 am to 12 am. Address in Yelp is not correct. This is a second location where American Taco was located. 2915 E Battlefield Springfield MO 65804 read more

I've eaten a number of times at Dublin Pass, and had OK experiences. But my experience there today causes me to resolve that I will never go back. That's a shame, since it is owned by a good operator. Unfortunately, the people he has running Dublin's Pass don't know anything about customer service. Today I went there for lunch. I walked in at 12:30 and the place is about half full. The person at the checkstand tried this year me toward the bar. No thank you I don't want to sit at the bar. Then he tried to get me to sit at a high top table in the bar. No, thank you. I don't want to sit at a high top. "I'll just take a booth, please." He replied " We save the booths for larger parties, so I can't see you there." Really? There are multiple booths open and I'm the only one waiting for a seat, and you can't allow me to sit where I am most comfortable? The young fellow just looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. That's terrible customer service, not what I'm used to when I go to Metropolitan Grill, Pat's other restaurant. In this day and age, I would think they would be thrilled to have a customer. But, apparently not. If you get the chance, go somewhere else and give Dublin's Pass a pass. Sorry Pat. read more

Ate there last Friday before a movie night with hubby. I ordered the appetizer scotch eggs, which I have been craving. I was disappointed, in the eggs, the fish and chips and the service were just okay. The waitress seemed like she was more into socializing. Service was slow and poor and Just so-so. We will not be back anytime soon. read more

The service was great, the waitress was very helpful. The food was good. The Cottage Pie was very good, but the club sandwich was just okay.

This is very much a university area, LOTS of kids around, many just driving through the downtown streets. We ate outside on a nice, cool, early October evening. There's live music inside but they don't pipe it outside which is too bad. We had attentive wait staff who checked on us frequently. We both ordered draft Guinness, mine being the chocolate version. I learned that i don't especially like it so it's regular Guinness from now on. I ordered the Scratch Pub Pie with chicken, mashed potatoes toted with a scrumptious flaky crust. SO good! RRR ordered the panko shrimp with fries which he said was very good. So, THAT filled us up. Worthy food. read more

Service was great! The fried pickles might be the best in town. All entries were quite enjoyable. It does have the feel of a UK pub, but US bar stuff hanging from the walls. read more

I love the feel of this place, it's an awesome experience, the services is great, never had an empty drink, and the food was next level. I had the Gooey Burger, it is an awesome burger for someone that loves jalapeños! 5 stars for sure!!!!! read more

The only reason this place is getting more than 1 star is because of the bartender Emily. This was our first time here ever, JOSIE greeted us rudely from the first interaction, I asked for a drink menu she pointed to the barcode stand on the bar. I was looking for the drink menu but couldn't quite find it so I asked if there wasn't a drink menu online. She looks at me like I'm stupid, points back at the stand and says "no it's on there" like obviously I can't find it? We ask for the bathroom, she points rudely in the wrong direction. EMILY, pointed us to the right direction and asked if we needed anything, made our drinks and answered our questions with a smile and she was the only NICE thing about this place. Josie lurked around with a sour puss facial expressions seemingly rolling her eyes at us and I can't figure out why. It bothered me so much I came to write a review. I'm a server and a bartender and I work two jobs and I never get to go out so when I do I don't appreciate being treated like s*** by someone I wasn't rude to and was simply looking for some guidance as I've never been here before. Thank you Emily for your help. read more

A Wes place for food. Best authentic Irish food in the state. We will be back every time we are in the area.

We've been to the newly opened location on Battlefield Road twice since they opened. Both times we were treated well and the food was delicious. I recommend the Culcannon! The decor is what you might expect from a pub. The booths are comfortable and there are giant TVs everywhere. If I had one complaint, it would be the noise level. But it's a pub, so it goes with the territory. read more

Food items were good, but definitely not worth the $17 we spent per meal. The fish and chips portion was very small, we were very disappointed. Our service was not great. Our waitress was not enjoyable and made us feel like an annoyance instead of like we were welcome. read more

Food was good - had the fish and chips. Ambiance was more sports bar than pub, but very nice and welcoming. The service was great. Our waitress was Zoe and she was the best. I wanted to try a smaller portion of one of the dinner entrees to just see how it tasted and she made it happen. It was good too. All in all, a fun place, good food, great service. Ask for Zoe. read more

Some of the best food and drinks I have had and always great service. Place is always packed and my new number one spot for game day

Not bad. Overall this place is more American than Irish so if you're looking for more traditional Irish or Scottish fare keep looking. I keep hoping to find a place like Sean Cummings' place in OKC around this area but it's haven't found anything yet. read more

It was a Wednesday around noon. There was one guy tending bar and waiting tables bless him because it was pretty busy in there. They were out of the cottage pie so hubs had a Reuben instead it was really good. I had fish and chips which were not the fish was over cooked and it and my fries were cold. We sat at the bar and beer selection was good. They ran out of Guinness so this same poor guy had to go change the tap. Maybe it was just an off day for them. We will give them another chance another time maybe read more

Just stopped by driving thru and the food is amazing. Never frozen beef for the burgers. Fries are proper and well seasoned. Loved them. Patty melt was wonderful. Walked in at 6 pm the entire bar was empty and we explained we had a 21st bday party with about 12 people. We have been here multiple times with the same size party. Both bartenders and servers had an attitude about the size of the party(mind you it's an empty bar) they continued to have an attitude the entire time won't be coming back! Food is great but the attitude of the bar is not worth it best to go somewhere you feel welcome read more

Cottage pie was a soup with a scoop of mashed potatoes. Overpriced bar food with nice ambiance.

Dublins Pass is a great restaurant. I haven't spent much time here during bar hours but have eaten here several times for lunch. My favorite items are the cottage pie or the chicken pub pie. Both are so good and hearty and perfect for winter days. Their Guinness cheese dip/sauce is delicious too. Service is always good here. I wish I could give 5 stars, but the sole reason I haven't is because the fried fish is awful. It's fried triangles of frozen fish. Everything else on the menu is absolutely fantastic but the fish is just not good. read more

Sat for 50 minutes of my lunch hour waiting for food I never got, not even my chips and salsa. When I told them I had to leave, they started getting my check for my drink.
