I found this quaint and eclectic place on accident today. It's an absolute treat! I ordered the rasta pasta and it is absolutely fabulous!! The pasta is infused with oil, peppers, Caribbean seasoning and cheese! All of the ingredients offer a contrasting flavor; what a delight!

The food was great I ordered the curry chicken combo I have been trying to find some Jamaican food since I moved to Springfield. I wanted the oxtails but they were sold out but I will for sure be going back. Also great custthey brought my food to the car for me didn't have to get back out my car.

Great little food truck that focuses on Jamaican cuisine. Although you won't find Pattys, you can get your hands on curry as well as peas and rice. I personally think the wraps here are the best. What's also nice is there is no delivery fee; just make sure to tip your driver!

This half of the jerk chicken rice bowl! So fulfilling

I don't know where bad reviews could possibly come from. I have pretty legit taste buds and this food truck is different! The menu is massive and like a restaurant. They had everything on the menu and I went twice in 3 days!! Everything is amazing from the rice bowls to the sauces. So much flavor and spices but not salty. I am overly impressed. I love the smoked cabbage, smoked Mac n cheese and shrimp rice bowl. He has blessed hands and customer service is great too! This is our new Springfield spot and Jamaican food just might be my new fav!!!

Chicken and Rice & Peas with corn

Me and my husband stopped by after searching for true Jamaican food in Springfield. An this place 100% needs a store front the costumer service was great they even had a sticker promotion card which once full allows you to have a discount on this good good food. I recommend this place hands down cant wait to stop by on my semi again. Respect Btw I took pictures after I was almost done eating lol sorry not sorry

    Jerk Chicken Fried Plantains

Came here over lunch with some work friends. It was super busy with customers, but unfortunately not very many workers at the truck. I ordered the jerk chicken meal, fried plantains and a Snapple (when was the last time I had a Snapple? I couldn't remember.) The food took a while to come out which was unfortunate because we were starting to get late back to the office. When I got to the office, I sat down to eat. The jerk chicken was okay. I wasn't sure what I was expecting, but that wasn't it. The flavors were very unique and the sauce was not my favorite. The chicken was warm and well cooked. Portion size was good for the price I paid. The cabbage and carrots were okay. The rice and beans were pretty good. Fried plantains seemed too salty for me, and I remembered I don't really like plantains. Oh well. I wanted to be authentic and was somewhat disappointed. I think it's just me and my flavor preferences. Everything was presented well and portion size was great. If you like Jamaican food, you might like it better than I did!

Delicious, worth a try! We've been trying to eat here for awhile now, never had the weekdays off to do it until now. Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly. Brought our food right to our car! - The jerk chicken sandwich comes with pickle spears, some type of sauce/spread, and a bag of chips. Rasta pasta came with 2 slices of toast. The pasta was pretty oily, so if you're sensitive to that maybe skip this dish. I can't wait to go back and try more off their menu. Thanks Hibiscus Jerk Hut!

This place is a must try. The staff are incredibly friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. It is prepared fresh so it takes a bit of time so I would highly recommend calling ahead, but it is well worth the call

Food is good and I love their story of how they started out. They offer things that are not too spicy, but still have a lot of flavor.

They have a nice little seating area with shade, tables, and even turf with some music playing to set the mood. I ordered the chicken adobado on a whim after trying to decide on lunch the whole morning leading go up to this and it was like a wish had come true. My life after having this grilled, spiced, juicy, perfection of chicken will never be the same. Accompanied by green salsa, cactus, rice, beans, and a giant, hot tortilla this chicken adobado is worth seeking Tuka Taco out. It was cooked perfectly and expertly seasoned by a couple that could be your neighbors. Another review mentions the 20 minute wait and I can confirm, however, it is fully worth it because of the quality and quantity of food you're getting as well as supporting one of Springfield's local food trucks.

I also ordered sides of the Spanish Rice and Refried beans 0 Stars... The street tacos themselves were okay I guess, they were the average street taco size....I had ordered one of each ; a Carne Asada, Carnitas and the Abodabo, while not bad tasting....the meat itself was chopped so finely, I couldn't distinguish any different flavor between them...the Carne Asada tasted no different from the Carnitas or Adobado now I ask honestly, how often does that happen? That's definitely a first for me. For all I could tell it was the same meat in all 3. Hot sauce would probably have helped Improve the overall flavor of these, but unfortunately the hot sauce I had selected and paid for was not included. Next the Birria ramen was mostly just noodles with a few scraps of semi tough birria beef and some huge chunks of Fat.... it was quite salty tasting, but not bad overall. I requested no cheese and yet there it was...whoever thought Mozzarella was an appropriate topping for this soup needs their taste buds examined. Just some chopped white onions and cilantro would have been fine. Honestly putting cheese on this is like putting cheese on chicken noodle soup or beef stew. The refried beans were completely Meh. The only spice I could taste was salt; the pinto beans tasted like they had been boiled and then partially mashed with a fork I had 2 bites and stick a fork in me I was done, however shockingly the Spanish rice was even worse than the beans... it was almost crunchy and not cooked properly at all...like moist, flavorful tender rice should be. Lastly the Potatoes and Nopales... the potatoes and cactus were boiled tender; both slightly salty neither tasted bad, but they weren't that great either so another Meh... I honestly doubt at this point that I will ever be back. This food overall tasted like the cooking of an amateur.

Overall their food was up to par compared to home cooked meals, the only thing that was lacking was the flavor. There was definitely flavor but I would personally like a little more spices added into the mix.
