Didn't have a problem getting a same day reservation on a Sunday for dinner for a party of 7. Outdoor seating was first come first serve but didn't have any issues getting it even though it was a gorgeous day The food was alright. The waitress was accommodating to our requests. But the service overall was pretty slow.

This place is really nice in the hingham yard! I thought the food was alright, the best dish I got was definitely the tacos! That's a must get! They have ample of space and an outdoor eating area as well. Service was also great

The refreshing ocean breeze while seated by the open windows at the Beth made for an ideal spot on a sweltering summer afternoon. Mango salsa complemented the blackened haddock tacos nicely. The falafel naanwich was a unique twist on the traditional sandwich; the thick, warm naan held up better than typical wraps. The decadent dark chocolate cake with an added scoop of vanilla ice cream was the pièce de rèsistance. We waited quite a while for our food and dessert and the Americano coffee was cold. We found out our server was a new employee when we finally received the check.

Came for brunch on Sunday at 2pm. It's a perfect time. The restaurant is actually quiet then. We had a big group and were seated immediately. Our waitress was incredible. She was super attentive and friendly. I ordered the fish tacos. They were good. Not the best I've had but not bad. The mango salsa wasn't very flavorful. It was kind of bland. My husband had the Nashville chicken sandwich and truffle fries. That was amazing!! Overall great restaurant.

The ambiance and view are very modern. The Brussels Sprouts appetizer was the best I have ever tried in a restaurant. Highly recommend. They aren't vegetarian; I believe the recipe includes pancetta. I am sure you could ask for veggie option. The shrimp app was also excellent. I had the Italian Caesar with chicken. It was flavorful- could have used a bit more "zing" - maybe some lemon and additional cheese? Lobster rolls are served with house fries (very crisp) ... lobster served hot or cold on buttered New England style roll. Our server, Grace, was very pleasant and efficient.

This is my 2nd time here. My first time was an over 1 year ago. That's was a great experience a d why I decided to come back again. Completely different experience this time around. I sat at the bar near the service well with 2 bartenders on. One clearly very pregnant. I smiled at her and received a return look like I was bothering her. She gave me the drink & food menus and she walked away to tend to the drink tickets coming in. I sat here for a bit before the other bartender asked me what I wanted to drink. I order a bottled beer and a club soda. She never asked me if I was ready to order, she just walked away. I sat with my drinks for a little bit and had to stop her to ask her if I could order some food. She looked at me like it was a surprise. I places my order, cheeseburger, mw, I asked her what else came on it, how is it dressed? Lettuce & tomato she said. She placed my order and was never asked again from either bartender if I needed anything, another beer. A older couple comes in, they order their food, full dinners. They get their food and are finished before I even got my burger. While waiting, a young man comes by and asks me if I'm waiting for food. I looked at him a little confused as I have no idea who he is. We confirm that it's a cheeseburger I'm waiting for and he said ok I'll be right back. The other bartender leaves. Still waiting for my food, my beer glass is empty. No offer if I would like another. My food finally comes, picture attached. I waited all this time for this? Looks like they threw it together in a hurry. The bartender finally comes over and asks me if I want another drink. I tell her I'm fine. She comes back again a short time after and said "if you want to order another drink or dessert, it's in the house. Another minute or two goes by and she says we're taking it off the bill. I thank her. Listen, I completely understand and feel for her as she is pregnant. That's why I smiled at her when I arrived. I get it suck's having to work while being pregnant and on your feet. I certainly couldn't do it. And I greatly appreciated they the food was comp. But the level of service I received today was night & day from my first time. I've been in the food service industry for over 30 years and I appreciate the hard & back breaking work that is required. I tried to just go out for a simple, quiet dinner at a nice restaurant. Unfortunately not what I tece

To start, the service was awesome, the waitresses were down to earth but made sure we had everything we needed and then some- including some extra chips to bring home with our unfinished buffalo chicken dip. The place was as the name suggests...snug. But the intimate environment was all the better with the live entertainment! Nothing really beats watching a local artist playing acoustic guitar and singing "You've Got a Friend in Me" over some good eats. I ordered the Cape Cod Rueban which is your typical Rueban toppings but a golden fried filet of haddock, on a toasted brioche bun. I was honestly blown away by this sandwich. All the ingredients were so fresh. Both of us were very satisfied with the quality of the food, the huge portions, and the reasonable bill compared to other establishments in the area. For all this plus 2 drinks, we were looking at $70. If we are ever back this way, we will definitely stop in again to try some new entrees!

The Snug is taking a stand for the neighborhood pub. A bar three rows deep where you can get a well-poured Guinness on tap and listen to live music. Servers are all polite. The lean into the neighborhood piece is for real -- I think I saw a high school date there one time. Food is pub fare. Steak tips and burgers are go-to's. Don't try to look for fancy, please don't. Deconstructed chicken pot pie would just be wrong.

Logistics: garbage parking is free, convenient, and available- we missed it the first time! Streetside was easy too. Ambience: perfect for a gathering with friends or a professional meal or even a date night! Music is at a tasteful volume Value: Unbelievable. $36 for an a foccacia, app, and entree is such a steal in this economy; available every day! The entree portions were sizeable as well! Food: everything from the focaccia to the salads, pastas, pork milanese, desserts, and drinks were wonderful. Speedy and kind service. Loved the meatballs, broccolini, melon & prosciutto, Verdi salad and grilled bread. My salmon entree was yummy. My date's pork Milanese was crispy and juicy. We also ordered their Caesar Salad which was good. I do remember this spot before it was Drifters and it was called Idle Hour which I loved so much. But I will say I am excited that a new pizza spot is now in its place. I think my next time that I try this will be physically at the restaurant. My only concern is that it is very loud. The place itself was small too so the music really overpowered everything. But once the live music wrapped up the vibes were good! Not too loud that I was screaming over it, but still lively. I got the Heart of Stone which was delicious! Not too sour or sweet, but was definitely a strong cocktail. I had 3/4 of it and I was already feeling it. My friend got an Old Fashioned and she was a big fan! It went down quite smoothly and tasted good too. For $14 a drink, it was a little pricy but honestly I've seen places in Boston charge more. I would recommend coming here to grab drinks but maybe not a spot to catch up because of how loud it was. Would love to try their food as it looked pretty good!
