This spot is great in cohasset. I was with a large group and we ordered pizza and salad to go. The 3 hour pizza and truffle pizza was so so good!!!! And it also came with bread and olive oil/balsamic. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is they have forgot one item from our order twice the last 2 time we went there. But overall it was delicious and would definitely go back again.

Duck Fat Roasted Free Range Chicken - the gravy was WOW

I had a really wonderful experience at Bia Bistro for my second trip there ever. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of the wait staff and the timeliness of the food. They know what they're doing. The food came out super efficiently but was very well prepared. I loved the salad - summer salad with watermelon, fresh greens and feta cheese. It was very light and well flavored. Also I had the classic duck fat chicken- it was savory and succulent and juicy and floating in its own moat a gravy which I found to be a very generous touch. What I especially loved was - when I asked for pepper and then told the bar tender I was a pepper girl he left the pepper grinder in my table. Instead of hovering over me to grind my pepper. It's the little things, people. I may be partial to this place since this was the first restaurant I ate at on the day I got engaged but they really know what they're doing. I especially love their Long Island duck breast. Wow. That's a dish.

My Lamb Special with my mother's Swordfish special to the left and the spectacular Two Way Rosé cocktail in the upper right.

This was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The two-way Rosé cocktail was incredible. I got the rack of lamb, 3 people with me got the sword fish (all specials), and another person got a steak. We also got salads. SPECTACULAR! The deserts were also marvelous. I think I would need to make a whole other review about how wonderful our server was. She was attentive, friendly, and she has a talent with people. Nicole, if you read this, I love you.

Great outdoor seating spot. My wife and I shared the prosciutto pizza and bolognese. Both great. Both pretty sweet but went well together. Would return for a nice date night.

This review is for the bar only! Came to this cute place for a quick drink and dessert. Bistro is cozy and small, service was excellent! Drinks were good, we ate a Creme brûlée ! Drinks and dessert came out quick and yummy! I will be back to try the food.

Waitress friendly but Took an unusually long time to get our drinks. They were very good however. We ordered our food and appetizers of oysters and clams . Our friends really enjoyed them. We ordered bread w spicy edamame humus which was very good but could have used more of the yummy toasted sourdough bread for the humus which was happily a big portion.Main entrees took again unusual long time to come out. At this time restaurant filling up. Restaurant can get very loud, had to raise our voices a bit while talking to hear one another. Entrees got thumbs up, herb chicken dinner, salmon burger, burger, Caesar salad was a side but big portion, delicious dressing , and fish tacos. Tacos were excellent. Fresh bit spicy, just the right size for 3 tacos. Overall food was very good and nice presentation, and I recommend, and I would go back, however service very slow but again friendly waitstaff and hostess. I took 1 star off due to slow service.

First time we've made it to opening day (April 1st) and it did not disappoint. They've added a beautiful and innovative pergola style dining area just outside the doorway. A wonderful addition and certainly welcome during those sporadic times when showers pass through. Food was fresh and well prepared. Staff was attentive and took great care of everyone. It was a small gathering (just 4 of us) and this seemed like a fun thing to do. We've been to SOT a few times and it's always been great. I checked the website to see if there was a Thanksgiving menu, and there wasn't. This suited us just fine because we love the menu. Our out-of-town guest brought desserts, so the plan was to have dinner at SOT and dessert at home. Imagine our shock to arrive and find an unappetizing and expensive prix fixe Thanksgiving menu. I had the Caesar salad which was utter slop. It was like a packaged Dole salad, but far worse because there was too much dressing and too much cheese. Upon further reflection, I'm not sure this *wasn't* a bagged salad that someone tried to spruce up with more dressing and cheese. Blech. Two of us went against our better judgement and got the $72 (!) Thanksgiving entree and it was slop too: Slices of dry turkey piled atop gross stuffing with a pile of squash on one side and a scoop of mashed potatoes on the other, all slathered in nasty brown gravy. The cranberry sauce was the only good thing and it helped ameliorate the shabbiness, but there wasn't enough of it to save this unappealing orgy of brown food. It was sad that there was no vegetable in this entree, but I guess vegetables would have been too difficult to pull off for the crowds they had. Two of us got the haddock and said the corn chowder with bacon was much too salty. Dessert was nothing special. Before being seated, there was the chaos we encountered at the front of the house. The restaurant was clearly overbooked. We got there at 5:05 for our 5:15 reservation to find the area from the bar to the front door packed with people waiting to be seated. A senior citizen was sitting sadly on a chair by the front door, getting blasts of cold air every time the door opened. When she and her party were seated I had my mother (80 years old) sit on the lone chair. People just kept piling in... it was loud, stressful, and dangerous. KUDOS TO THE STAFF FOR ENDURING THIS LEVEL OF CHAOS WITH PATIENCE AND GRACE! The second star is for them. I have to ask: Did someone at SOT decide to foist a Thanksgiving menu upon everyone at the last minute? If I'd seen that menu I wouldn't have made a reservation. I've always liked SOT but I'm not sure we'll ever go back. We had fun together because the atmosphere there is always festive, but we truly felt insulted by that dinner, and bamboozled by having to order from a menu we didn't expect. Our dinner came up to $316, $386 with tip. If the food had been spectacular we wouldn't have minded, but this was shameful. The owners will have made a killing yesterday, but this experience killed our Thanksgiving. NO THANKS AND NEVER AGAIN.

The fried calamari would get a C+, (best part of meal), my wife and I each got the Fish N Chips... batter came out dark brown, it looks like they haven't changed their oil in the fry-o-later for a long time, which ruined the experience, the fish was just ok once you found it. A pile of indistinguishable items, a massive pile of a cold cut, some pate, and smears of things or condiments. The juices of the items ran together, which made for a very unappetizing sight/ taste. I had ordered the salmon, and my guest ordered the cannelloni. On top of the cannelloni was the greasiest deep fried greens, which was a heart attack waiting to happen. The cannelloni was swimming in the most disgusting sauce, which was broken and not properly emulsified. Needless to say, it was not touched.. The salmon was so incredibly small, it may have been only 4oz, overcooked, dried. The asparagus was over grilled and charred. Service was odd, started off with a young server, then we were ignored for quite some time, then another server appeared and took over. It was just odd.
