I would not recommend getting a custom cake from them. It sucks because I actually liked this bakery. I reached out after receiving my cake. When I was getting my cake I said out loud that I absolutely hated it. They just stared at me and said nothing about it. I decided to reach out via email to let them know since they handle the custom orders directly. No response. It's not like I wanted anything out of it. I would not trust them to make a custom cake. I wanted a unicorn cake with mint green and lilac and this is what I got. I thought it was well made appearance wise despite the colors. I ordered two pies for our Father's Day dinner party, cherry and a banana cream pie. The cherry pie was great BUT DO NOT ORDER THE BANANA CREAM PIE!! Barely any banana cream. It was 80% whip cream!!! Their cake is a combing of European and Asian fusion I'm very particular and picky when it comes to cake texture, flavor, consistency, quality and service. I've been here twice. First time I got a cupcake which was okay. Nothing really to write home about. 2nd time I got some macrons to try out ahead of a party we were planning to give with Macrons as the dessert - bad. The cookie part was hollow and crumbled as I ate it. I'm getting ready to order another cake for my daughter's birthday and I'm excited to see what new flavors to select. We ordered a hellfire club cake with cookies and cream filling and unfortunately it was just okay. The reference photo I sent had the design put on with icing, like a drawing, so I expected that but it was a printed picture instead. I didn't mind at first, but the print still had blue ink lines down the middle and everyone was really confused by that. And part of the "hellfire club" was covered because the print was a little too big. The filling was vanilla, not cookies and cream like we asked, so that was disappointing. We had a pickup time for 3:00 and I was told it wasn't ready yet, so I didn't get the cake until 3:30 which was stressful because I was on a time crunch with the party we were throwing. We paid $103 for the cake and I've paid a lot less for much better cakes at other bakeries. Ordered a pink champagne cake about 3 days in advance. Had to speak to management via phone and email as this cake is considered a custom order. Customer service was good at this point, very quick to respond and get the cake ordered. The cake itself was a let down. I thought the style of it was a bit tacky looking and lackluster, but I didn't pay for any custom decorations so whatever. When we cut into the cake, the edges of each layer was very brown. It was visually off putting, but I was still hopeful for flavor. Well, the cake tasted okay but those cake edges were dry and hard! It was hard to get a bite without dry, chewy, flavorless crust. It all came back today after Attempting to order a cake today, after giving the time needed, was quickly told they need a week and a half notice. Spoke to Manager and pointed out we should have been given options. She quickly told me I needed to change my tone and attitude and told me she didn't care what I had to say! A bad place to order custom cakes! Their website has this Inquiry Form which I filled up last April 18 to ensure that the two grandkids will have the best memories my son would have during his deployment. They never replied on my email during that week. On the day of the supposed pick up, I called them that we will pick up the cakes the next morning since traffic from LA is impossible to get us to Temecula before their closing hour. April 24 - I came in around 10 am and was told that they did not get my filled up form from their website plus they did not received my call from their voice mail so they were not able to make the cakes I ordered. WOW!! The cakes were a Unicorn for an 8 yrs. old girl and a Minion for a 2 yrs. old boy. How long would it take for this place to check their Inquiry Forms and get to their voice mail? The lady owner (recognized her from their website photos) came out and insisted they cannot do the custom cakes and they can just write a celebrant's name on any of their displayed cakes. First, I want to do the order online since the boy have severe allergies and to be sure the cake he got has nothing that will trigger his allergies. It was a really bad experience in this place.
