Thai Rama is a standout spot that truly hits the mark for authentic Thai cuisine. We stopped in recently and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We kicked things off with the egg rolls, which arrived as a set of three. They were perfectly cooked--crispy and golden without being overly oily--and came with a great spicy mustard and a sweet dipping sauce that paired perfectly. For our main courses, my wife opted for the yellow curry with tofu, which was packed with tender potatoes, onions, and carrots. I went with the mixed seafood pan-fried, a standout dish featuring a generous portion of fish, shrimp, squid, and mussels. It was tossed with fresh chilis, onions, carrots, black mushrooms, and fragrant Thai basil. The dish was incredibly aromatic and wonderful. Cute spot!! Lovely ambiance, we sat in a booth. All staff were very friendly - someone seated us, another got us water, and another took our orders. The food came out very fast. I ordered pad see ew with chicken gluten free. It was pretty good but I know it would be stellar not gluten free - I think they just didn't use soy sauce for my dish (versus say supplementing with a gluten free soy sauce). I still greatly enjoyed it and it was a hefty portion, enough for a second meal the next day. The egg provided some salt and there was a generous portion of chicken and some cabbage was on the side for some crunch (and with a flower how cute). My boyfriend ordered the chicken sweet and sour. He liked the dish a lot - it came with rice in a whole separate bowl! Crispy chicken, good amount of sauce. He also ordered egg rolls and it came with three and sauces.he ate one then dropped the other two as he was putting it in a to go container and they kindly gave him two more, we greatly appreciated it! He did rate the egg rolls a 4/10 as he said there was an odd after taste but overall the restaurant an 8/10 because of good and friendly service and overall good food. My favorites are their Oanang Beef Curry, Green curry tofu, Coconut chicken soup, Larb Neau, Name Sohd, crab fried rice, drunken noodle. Their Thai tea is excellent. If I were to search for something to criticize? I miss the booth seating and the thai coffee is overly sweet. The only thing I really didn't like was them turning the bright " last call " lights on at 7:45 pm ( closes at 8 ). Came for dinner with a friend, first time at this location. We typically visit the Chandler location. Discovered some differences with the menu as well as items, like spring rolls. The Chandler location makes a mean spring roll and it comes with some amazing peanut sauce. The peanut sauce at this location was different tasting, thicker, and really had a "blah" taste compared to what we are used to. Ordered the Satay Chicken and Crab Puffs as appetizers and both were good. The Puffs were filled with creamy cream cheese filling, not much crab or crab flavor to them. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had a light spice to them. Ordered the Tom Kha, which is one of my go-to dishes at the Chandler location (sorry to keep comparing) but again, this soup didn't have that same strong tangy flavor we've come to expect. Added chicken to it and there was a good amount included. Ordered with no spice. Also ordered the Spicy Garlic Sauce, medium heat, with the addition of broccoli. Our friend reported that it had great flavor and heat and was full of garlic. She's had this before at this location and likes it. Wife also order the Papaya Salad with medium heat and she said it was exactly the same as the other location. Lots of great spice she said. Overall a good experience. Wow this is some awesome Thai food. I love that they have a vegetarian section on their menu! I ordered red curry with extra tofu on their website. My food was ready on time and my husband picked up! He said it was a little hard to get in there and it was super busy, but I can see why!
